About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. Safety and security are always at the forefront.

About: I started longer-term overnight dog sitting about three years ago. I do frequent daytime potty breaks for friends when they are out of town. I have watched cats as well. I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years and I enjoy both cat and dog snuggles. Not currently working much, schedule is flexible which is ideal for your puppies that may need potty breaks while you are at work during the day or away on weekends. Unfortunately, I will only go to the clients home. I will not bring other animals into my house. I do own a cat and this is something my husband and I have agreed on.

“Hi there! This was my very first time using Rover and I was certainly very nervous to entrust my little guy with a new sitter since our recent move! However, Alex was fabulous ! He is everything you could want and more from a sitter and from a caregiver to your furry friends/family. Alex is extremely responsive, he arranged for at least 2 visits to meet my cat Oliver and to review schedule, questions, concerns, diet etc. Before actually starting the pet sitting. He got to know Oliver and his demeanor, and my cat took to Alex right away. Alex is gentle, playful and affectionate and you can see that he genuinely cares. About: I absolutely love taking care of pets! Regardless of age or energy level, they will be in great hands with me. I have taken care of my cat Garbanzo since she was 6 months old and she is now almost 4! We are absolute best friends and seeing her everyday is such a joy. About: I have experience in wildlife rehabilitation, zookeeping, managing horses. I’m comfortable doing most basic animal care for a variety of animals and happy to learn about anything I haven’t had experience with. Dogs, cats, reptiles, hoofstock, poultry and so on! My schedule is fairly flexible with some notice. Available early mornings, late nights and in between. I am happy to adjust my schedule based on each animal’s routine and needs. About: The last few years I've provided an array of services for dog sitting, walking, weekly stays and occasionally drop in visits. From Danes to Chihuahua's I'm certain I can give your pup the love, patience, care and energy (high or low depending on the pup) that they need to live happy, comfortable and confident lives. I've taken care of an array of animals since I was a kid from hamsters to dogs to little frogs! I currently have a 2.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who I've worked with through several training classes. I'm happy to help and follow through with current trainings you are working with your pup on while I interact with them. I'm able to remove ticks and have a first aid kit always on had and a base medicinal understanding and can administer medication if needed. I'm also doggy and human first aid certified (American Red Cross). If your pup is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and well socialized (or needs a little nudge and isnt aggressive or reactive) I'd be happy to take them to a dog park with or without my pup Luna. Does your dog have a special diet? Bon appetit, I'll be sure to get them their right food at the right time! Senior dogs need love too, I'll be patient and we can take a nice and easy stroll or take a little car ride! Speaking of, I have room in my subaru for any transportation your pup may ever need (including a doggy seatbelt). Overall, I'm flexible and want to help you and your pup have a happy life! I am currently employed but my schedule is very inconsistent at this time so reach out for availability checks and I can work with you! I'm very flexible in my scheduling. Right now I do not have the capacity for boarding or keeping any dogs besides my own at my current residence. Here we have a large yard with room for our pups to run and their recall work has been going well. Dogs can be on the furniture minus the kitchen table! We also have a large basement with room to run there too. In your home, I follow your rules and will respect your privacy. Please inform me of any specific requirements in your home or anything I should be aware of. I will act professionally and respectfully, just like I would ask someone if they were entering my home. I am flexible so just let me know of anything and I can adapt!
About: Owning dogs has been nothing but a learning journey. I’ve done dog sitting for years for family and friends. I’ve had my current dog, Raylie, for 6 years now. I am a part time worker at a dental clinic so my hours are normal daytime 9-3 on the days I work. Animals and pets help fill that extra time :) My house is in isolation on 9 acres of land. About: I have a one-year old Golden Retriever named Goose, some say he's spoiled...but shouldn't they all be? I am honest, caring, trustworthy and reliable. If you have any special requests (ie: bath, brush out) please let me know. I am willing to accommodate your needs. I am able to send you photo and video updates for peace of mind. I currently work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. I am open and available for weekend stays Friday through Sunday and evening walks during the week. If you require an overnight stay during the week, I ask that you drop them off 5:30pm or later and are able to pick them up in the morning by 7:45am. We live on 4 acres of land (unfenced) in a rural setting. I have one, unneutered, one year old male golden retriever, who LOVES making new friends. He has been socialized with many other dogs at doggy daycare and plays well with others (humans and pets alike). We have a gated sunroom which has a 42 inch crate if needed. Feel free to bring your own crate for extended stays.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life! I’ve had family fur babies since I was young. I learned at an early age the responsibility it takes to love and care for your pets. I prefer to come to your home where you and your pets are most comfortable. I’m qualified to care for pets varying in age, from pup/kitten to senior care. I’m an extremely trustworthy, loyal, responsible, clean, fun and loving person who just wants to help people when they are in need and what better way to do that than to love on their fur babies when life gets busy! I have a fairly flexible schedule. I work from home three days a week (most weeks) Typically, Monday, Wednesday and Friday (In office Tuesday and Thursday). I will do my best to make a schedule that works for all of us! I will care for your pets however you prefer. About: Hi, I'm Brooke! I’m 19 years old and have been around animals my entire life. Growing up, I was never without a pet, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. My first cat, Hunter Patches, was a huge part of my life before he passed last year. Since then, I’ve welcomed two new cats, Loki and Marie, into my family. I also have a 10 year old rescue dog named Gunner and recently rescued a bearded dragon named Dino. I’m comfortable caring for cats, dogs, and reptiles, and I understand that every animal has their own personality and needs. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, play with, check on, and care for their pets while they’re away. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals of all kinds. About: What sets me apart is my experience working with dogs of all personalities and needs, especially reactive dogs and strong pullers. I have completed training with my own reactive chocolate lab through Justin’s Canine Campus, along with continuing training work at home, which has taught me patience, consistency, and how to read dog behavior closely. I also make sure their space stays clean and that they feel calm while their owners are away.

About: I am an experience animal care taker. I grew up on a farm with all sorts of wild and domesticated animals. I’ve worked with many families taking care of small-large pets including dogs and cats. I also worked at a dog daycare for 3+ years before perusing higher education. With my expertise I believe that your pet is in the safest hands possible. I’m currently working as a youth soccer coach and have the time for pet care in my schedule. About: I started longer-term overnight dog sitting about three years ago. I do frequent daytime potty breaks for friends when they are out of town. I have watched cats as well. I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years and I enjoy both cat and dog snuggles. Not currently working much, schedule is flexible which is ideal for your puppies that may need potty breaks while you are at work during the day or away on weekends. Unfortunately, I will only go to the clients home. I will not bring other animals into my house. I do own a cat and this is something my husband and I have agreed on.

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for.
