She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.

I can stick to their feeding and walking schedule, provide consistent companionship, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away. Being home all day also makes me a great fit for puppies, senior pets, or dogs who need a little extra TLC. When I care for pets in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow your pet’s routine closely & I make sure they’re comfortable in their space, following their usual schedule for walks, meals, playtime, and cuddles. Being in their own environment helps your pet feel more relaxed, and I’m there to make sure they feel loved every step of the way. I’m experienced in administering a variety of medications, including flea and tick ointments, oral chewy meds, and pills; whether they’re hidden in a treat or given directly. I stay calm and patient to make the process as stress-free as possible. I’m comfortable managing multiple pets and giving each one the attention and care they need. I treat your home with the same respect and care I give to your pet: clean, secure, and exactly how you left it. I provide regular updates with messages & photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and in good hands & know everything is going smoothly while you’re away.

“Andrea is a beautiful, intelligent and compassionate professional. She cares about the animals she looks after while 'pet parents' are away. She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. All in all, I would recommend Andrea to work with anyone who has pets they love and want to broaden the scope of their pet's world by allowing Andrea to work with them and care for them. “First of all, I was super nervous to leave my precious Teddy with someone we didn't know (and the first time he'd have been left with someone we didn't know) & Rebecca was fantastic! Kept me in the loop with how teddy was doing, got him calmed down cause he was nervous too/ sent me photos of my lil guy throughout his stay with them... I couldn't say enough good things about our experience! Teddy seemed to love them too and that's what matters to me. “Jake and Mischa were great! We had to find another sitter as the sitter we normally use was unavailable. Our dogs took to them right away. They sent us pictures throughout the week and always kept us updated. Also they offer pick up and drop of services!!! Our dogs were exhausted when they came home after so much fun. Highly recommend!”

“Absolute peace of mind through the entire experience. This was only the third time with a sitter and second boarding my Whiskey dog overnight; but never have I felt as content as when he was with Judy, her wonderful family & beautiful home. Was able to completely enjoy my vacation knowing he was cared for as one of her own. I really can’t thank her enough for what that contentment was worth to me. To top it off she’s so nice!!
