Zena was triggered by the fireworks, Sam communicated everyday with me about helping Zena to regulate her emotions, she helped soothe her, provide Zena with the space she needed to calm down. Zena was well cared for, had her own clean room to roam in and a large hard to play in all this helped reduce my anxiety about leaving her. She took her a day early because I booked it wrong, watched her an extra few days (and offered to do it for free if needed), and watched over Suka like her own dog. About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. I am home full time so you never have to worry about your dog being left alone or locked up in a cage and they will have my full attention. Like I mentioned before, I am a huge animal lover and have experience with small, medium, large and giant breed dogs! Have availability to take on a few more dogs due to the passing of my current clients pets. Dogs are unique with their own needs and boundaries. I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs can access using a doggy door. Each dog (or family if siblings want to be together) are booked into their own room that is set up for their specific needs. The dogs gets to decompress and given whatever space they need to be happy and relaxed. I have crates of every size if the dog needs one. I do not crate unless there is a safety concern. Dogs have free reign of the house and yard as long as I am home. If I am not home the dogs are in their rooms which are video monitored (maximum of ~4 hours). The rooms are closed off with gates so dogs have open view of hallways. I use TV or music to create background noise. Dogs do not interact without supervision and any dog introduction is done slowly and never forced. The house is large enough that should a conflict arise the dogs can be placed in separate levels of the house and not interact. When dogs stay with me I see them as my dogs and treat them as family.

Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I love all dogs regardless of size or breed. I’m quite active so if you have an energetic dog that needs to burn some energy, I am the gal for you. I love to take my dogs on adventures with me. Hiking, exploring, finding new trails. As long as they're up to date on their tick medication, we are good to go! :) I also love to groom dogs and more than happy to give them a bath (sometimes I do anyway after a muddy adventure) so that is an added bonus! I’m comfortable administering oral medication. I have my own vehicle that’s completely pet friendly so if I have to travel or take your dog somewhere, no problem! Bonus: I do have livestock experience as well! ****All I ask is that if you and your dogs enjoyed working with me, please leave me a review! It helps with bookings :) I work from home part time so I have lots of availability especially for drop ins and walks. It fits in perfectly with my schedule. I am willing to meet the pets many times beforehand to establish trust. About: I’ve had fur babies throughout my entire life growing up. Nine years ago my own fur baby came into my life, Bailey. We love to travel, go to work together and meet new friends. Over the years, I have been the go to family member/friend to pet sit. Which usually entails going for walks, car rides, snuggles, and love. I am available for vet appointments, grooming appointments, so no need to reschedule. I’m a full time employee for the ARC but my position is rather flexible as long as I have enough notice. I update my schedule weekly. When being at my house all babies must be on a leash for everyone’s protection. I do have land behind my house that allows us to run and play. I do have a 9 year old female Lab. She is very friendly with other animals. If owners are more comfortable crating their pets that is no problem.

I use to board animals in my home until I sold my house just recently. Now, I travel to my clients homes. I mostly stay overnight and for more than one day because my clients go away on vacation. I do many services for my clients. I walk your animal, feed your animal whether if it’s can food, dry food or home made food which I have made home made food for my fur babies before and still do. I administer medication to animals, groom them, brush, bathe, keep them active and help them with their mobility, Play, do fun activities with my fur babies, train, keep them busy and entertained and plenty more. I make sure your animal is well cared for, loved like he or she was my own, given the attention it needs, Be happy and even more. I go over and beyond for my fur babies and each and everyone always feels safe, comfortable, loved, happy and etc….. I have a lot of clients and some of them I care for during the Summer when they go away a lot and some of my clients I care for during the week and in wknds. I am very easy to work with because I am a good person. Good people work with good people. All my clients know how caring I am and feel good about leaving their loved ones with me.

“Sam was incredibly patient with Zena! Zena was triggered by the fireworks, Sam communicated everyday with me about helping Zena to regulate her emotions, she helped soothe her, provide Zena with the space she needed to calm down. I appreciate the picture and video and feed back on how to help Zena once we pick her up. Zena was well cared for, had her own clean room to roam in and a large hard to play in all this helped reduce my anxiety about leaving her. Over all Sam was knowledge about dog breeds and understands how to work with strong-willed shibas. Definitely recommend.”

“Katelynn has gone out of her way taking care of my baby before, but that was nothing compared to the help she offered me during the winter storm this December 2022. She took her a day early because I booked it wrong, watched her an extra few days (and offered to do it for free if needed), and watched over Suka like her own dog. It was very hard for me to be without my dog for so long, but knowing she was in such good hands made it much easier. I cannot believe how kind, generous, and wonderful Katelynn is.
