“This past weekend we went away last minute, after looking unsuccessfully for someone to board our dog Holly based on a friend's recommendation. We were out of luck. I then checked out Rover and found Julie, thank goodness she was available at such short notice. Making plans and arrangements were seamless, you could tell she loves dogs (all animals) and would enjoy taking care of our Holly. Julie was 100% flexible with drop-off and pickup times, followed all our instructions for Holly. Julie sent regular pictures or communication of how the day was going, which I appreciated tremendously because Holly is a puppy and we haven't been away from her since we got her. Holly seemed to enjoy herself, she got to play with 2 other dogs and she even met Julie's cats and they all got along wonderfully. About: I’m 59 years old and I’ve cared for many dog breeds since I was 10, poodle, lab, mixed breeds, golden doodle, pitbull mix. I take pride in how I take care of my dog from what I feed him, clean up after him, and keep him happy and comfortable. I believe I can offer the same attention to detail for a guest dogs needs. I am a full time programmer at the Riverhead County Clerk’s Office working 7-3 Mon-Fri, I would like to try boarding on the weekends and possibly during the week as I get more comfortable with this process I have a fenced in yard 4 foot fence, and own a 5 year old mixed breed terrier that loves to play. I’d be looking to care for friendly small to medium sized dogs that have are up to date on shots from the vet. I have a spare large crate if needed but it would be best if you have your own since your pet is used to that one. I’d like to see vet records of shots and meet before hand to make sure our pets get along

About: My love for dogs knows no bounds! While I started actively caring for dogs about three years ago, I’ve had them in my life since I was 10. Taking my dogs to the beach or on trail walks is part of my daily routine. I realized that if I’m already bringing my own pups on adventures, why not share the fun and include other dogs too! I am a college student and have a completely free schedule over the summer. I can come on same day notice and can stay over night. About: Hi I'm Ally! I grew up surrounded by dogs and my love for them has only grown over the years! I currently have two at home, Luna, a 10-year-old rescue terrier mix, and Tobi, a 6-year-old Pembroke Welsh corgi. Altogether my extended family includes 6 dogs, 2 cats, and a few chickens. (You should see our house at Christmas!) I have lots of experience with both small and large dogs but I love all shapes and sizes. Playtime is a big deal at my house, but rest and relaxation are a must too. Cuddling is my absolute favorite thing! I love helping others, especially when they're dogs. I found Rover through my sister and sister-in-law, who have watched dogs themselves, so I've learned the ropes through their experiences. I'm currently working part-time and heading back to school soon. My schedule may shift once the semester starts, but I'll keep my calendar updated! As of right now my schedule is pretty open and I can provide care all weekdays, but weekends are a little tougher (but if really needed I can always try to move things around). My top priority is making sure you and your pets know they're in safe, loving hands. Bathroom breaks, meals, fresh water, and plenty of cuddles are always part of the routine. And if you're comfortable with it, my dog Tobi loves meeting new friends so we can always swing by for some playtime!

While I continue recovering from knee surgery, I’m currently accepting small, easy-to-handle dogs for walks. Whether your pup loves a leisurely neighborhood stroll, lots of sniffing, or a little extra TLC, I’m happy to tailor their walk to their personality and routine 🐾💜 I am currently a college student, so my schedule varies slightly during the semester. However, I maintain a consistent routine and am reliable with planned visits, especially in the mornings. I commute from Sag Harbor and appreciate having a weekly schedule in advance to ensure consistency and dependability. During winter and summer breaks, I have a much more flexible and open schedule. I provide my own pet-safe wipes to clean paws after outdoor walks, helping keep your home clean while maintaining your pet’s comfort. I’m mindful about the products I use and prioritize gentle, pet-safe options. I always ask before giving any treats and make it a priority to respect both your home and your pet’s routine. I aim to provide thoughtful, considerate care in every environment I’m welcomed into.
