About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. Grew up with dogs and cats. I currently have a 9 year old lab/american bulldog mix and an 8 year old cat as well. I got them both when they were just 3 months old and raised them to be the 2 sweetest boys. I have experience with puppies/kittens. I also have experience with giving oral medicine to dogs. Mild dog training (not professional). I’ve watched dogs and cats for many of my friends/family varying from all different types of breeds from golden retrievers to husky’s, overnights and just casual check ins. Pet care is involved in every daily and weekly routine! With owning a dog myself I look to make sure he is well exercised and played with throughout the day while also giving him all my love for the past 11 years. I own a cat as well and he is the sweetest and nicest little guy. I’m actively taking care of both my animals to make sure they live the happiest life :) Available anytime any day to help with furry friends :) Currently I live on a property with roughly about 4 acres of land, most of which is fenced in. I walk and play with my dog 3/4 times a day in the fenced in area to make sure he’s getting the exercise he needs so there is plenty of room for more furry friends! I live on the bottom floor of a house so easy access in and outside for easy potty breaks and have tons of extra room for crating if need be

“So imagine the sweetest person in the world and triple it and you will get Julie. My dog is 14, blind, has dementia, and needs to be let out frequently. Basically he needs round the clock eyes on him. Julie not only did an amazing job with him but thanked us for allowing her the time with our dog. She walked him a handful of times per day (which is not easy with a blind dog) and cared for him maybe better than we do. She is an excellent communicator; she gave us updates and sent us multiple photos, making us feel so at ease. You can leave your dog with Julie knowing they are being treated like family. You can tell she really has a true love for dogs. We cannot express enough how grateful we are to have found her, we only wish we found her sooner. We LOVE Julie!”
About: I’m 59 years old and I’ve cared for many dog breeds since I was 10, poodle, lab, mixed breeds, golden doodle, pitbull mix. I take pride in how I take care of my dog from what I feed him, clean up after him, and keep him happy and comfortable. I believe I can offer the same attention to detail for a guest dogs needs. I am a full time programmer at the Riverhead County Clerk’s Office working 7-3 Mon-Fri, I would like to try boarding on the weekends and possibly during the week as I get more comfortable with this process I have a fenced in yard 4 foot fence, and own a 5 year old mixed breed terrier that loves to play. I’d be looking to care for friendly small to medium sized dogs that have are up to date on shots from the vet. I have a spare large crate if needed but it would be best if you have your own since your pet is used to that one. I’d like to see vet records of shots and meet before hand to make sure our pets get along

“Erika saved the day when she so graciously accepted a last minute booking for my cat and kittens I rescued who recently had spay/neuter surgery. My mom lives 7-8 hours away and was in a bad car accident. It was too soon to leave the kittens overnight with drop-ins. Erika came and stayed with them for two nights so I could be with my mom. She was super kind and put me right at ease. She kept me updated and as hard as it is to believe I didn’t worry about them at all. She even set food out for a family of community cats who have mostly moved in on my back porch. I’d hire her again without any reservations. A bonus, the house was all tidied up when I got home from my long trip.”

About: My love for dogs knows no bounds! While I started actively caring for dogs about three years ago, I’ve had them in my life since I was 10. Taking my dogs to the beach or on trail walks is part of my daily routine. I realized that if I’m already bringing my own pups on adventures, why not share the fun and include other dogs too! I’m currently working full time Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm but available after work too! Available anytime Monday, Saturday and Sunday. I usually take my dogs to the beach for a 1 hour walk in the riverhead and Hampton bays area I have a fenced yard at my house and can definitely train your dog some tricks if you are okay with it! About: I'm a long time volunteer with Friends of the Homeless Animals and I have two rescue dogs of my own. We are a dog loving family and have a very pet friendly home, My dogs have always been very welcoming and have been great with the dozens of foster dogs we've had in and out of our house over the last decade. We decided to try boarding in our home-- we know how difficult it is to go away and worry about your pet. We have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs—our goal is always to give the dogs space and time to relax and feel comfortable. I've done everything from giving insulin shots to oral vaccines. I've had dogs with separation anxiety, dementia, dog aggression--you name an issue, I've had a foster dog with it!, My 26 year old daughter is often with us and is wonderful with dogs and helps out quite a bit. She stands in for me if I have to be away. I work from home, so I am always around. We take walks in our neighborhood and I always make sure someone is around when we are boarding a dog We are fenced in and make it a point to be extremely watchful of the dogs in our home. We don’t take our boarding dogs off the leash.

About: I grew up with dogs and have a very large very hyper guy currently. I started walking dogs when I was in elementary school and dog sat during Covid. I’ve also owned dogs through every stage of their life, from 8 weeks to 16 years old. I work restaurant hours Thursday through Sunday, 3 to 11. This means I have 3 days completely free and I’m available every morning and afternoon. I can’t do anything in my own home because my dog isn’t very good at making friends, but because of that I am very good with walking and caring for more challenging dogs

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. Grew up with dogs and cats. I currently have a 9 year old lab/american bulldog mix and an 8 year old cat as well. I got them both when they were just 3 months old and raised them to be the 2 sweetest boys. I have experience with puppies/kittens. I also have experience with giving oral medicine to dogs. Mild dog training (not professional). I’ve watched dogs and cats for many of my friends/family varying from all different types of breeds from golden retrievers to husky’s, overnights and just casual check ins. Pet care is involved in every daily and weekly routine! With owning a dog myself I look to make sure he is well exercised and played with throughout the day while also giving him all my love for the past 11 years. I own a cat as well and he is the sweetest and nicest little guy. I’m actively taking care of both my animals to make sure they live the happiest life :) Available anytime any day to help with furry friends :) Currently I live on a property with roughly about 4 acres of land, most of which is fenced in. I walk and play with my dog 3/4 times a day in the fenced in area to make sure he’s getting the exercise he needs so there is plenty of room for more furry friends! I live on the bottom floor of a house so easy access in and outside for easy potty breaks and have tons of extra room for crating if need be
