“This is my first time leaving my dog with someone 6 hours away from home and I was nervous. It was last minute when I realized we had to bring the dog with us (last minute as in 8 hours before we had to leave). She responded to my request at 3am in the morning, thats great! I messaged many and didnt get many responses. There was no Hassel, she was very flexible and when we left then came back to the house to drop her off, my dog ran up to her as if she knew her forever. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and other pets since I was little. Pets of my own, family and friends. I’ve always been dependable and so loving of animals. I’m here to give them the little bit of extra love throughout the day while the parents are away. I am available throughout most of the day! I have my own car, no problem there. About: I love all dogs! They are all so funny, each with their own fun personalities. I love to go for walks with the dogs, sometimes 2 at a time! When your pup is in my care my focus is on keeping them safe and happy! I am retired from working so I like to say that I am a stay at home dog Mom! When I am watching your dog, there is nothing more important to me than your fur baby’s safety and happiness. Since I am home full time I am available for your pup 24/7! Walking, exercising, basic grooming, training, I do it all! When your pet is with me, I will care for him/her as if they are my own. Communicating with you about all your petcare preferences, I will assure you that you can be at ease leaving your little love behind. Furthermore, I will update you with pictures of all your pets snuggles and adventures! I have experience with all kinds of pets, all ages, dietary restrictions, special needs, etc. My own dog, Oaklin, I trained to be a therapy dog and he used to work with me at a school. He is extremely friendly and if you are booking for your dog, he would love to tag along for a puppy play date (which is excellent for socialization and helps ease separation anxiety). Please let me know if you would like to book Oaklin as well for your dog's drop-in visit or walk. I always bring Oaklin on overnights with me, as I am a single dog mom myself. From June 28-August 8th I have open availability! Currently, I am a teacher, so I'm only available 5 PM or later on weekdays, and occasionally on weekends until June 28th. . I have cared for pets with varrying energy levels, ages, training, interests, and health conditions. When I care for your pet, I will treat it as if it is my own. About: I’ve worked at a Veterinary Hospital for 32 yrs, raised/trained more than 15 puppies to be service dogs & have been doing Animal Assisted Therapy since 1993. I have recently retired, set up my house to be dog friendly and now I have plenty of time to spend with my dogs and your pups! My home is clean and dog friendly with a fenced in backyard. All dogs are allowed on the couch (if you allow that) and my lap (small dogs plz). There are plenty of toys and dog beds for resting:) I also have many baby gates if a dog wants alone time.

When we adopted her she was so shy and we've been working to bring her out of her shell so we were worried when we first left her but John was so good at making us feel comfortable and allowing Penny the space to get comfortable with him. We got updated pictures, he got her to eat right on the spot (which has been a struggle) and he even had Penny out in the yard and starting to play with his dog, LaVerne. Whenever we pull up in front of John's house now, Penny's tail starts to wag and she gets so excited to see him!
