“Erika saved the day when she so graciously accepted a last minute booking for my cat and kittens I rescued who recently had spay/neuter surgery. My mom lives 7-8 hours away and was in a bad car accident. It was too soon to leave the kittens overnight with drop-ins. Erika came and stayed with them for two nights so I could be with my mom. She was super kind and put me right at ease. She kept me updated and as hard as it is to believe I didn’t worry about them at all. She even set food out for a family of community cats who have mostly moved in on my back porch. I’d hire her again without any reservations. A bonus, the house was all tidied up when I got home from my long trip.”

They go on 2-3 walks per day (if the owners allow me to take them for walks) and get plenty of exercise throughout the day. They're fed their dinner between 6pm and 7pm, get their last potty break at about 9pm and then we are done for the day!

“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have a very large very hyper guy currently. I started walking dogs when I was in elementary school and dog sat during Covid. I’ve also owned dogs through every stage of their life, from 8 weeks to 16 years old. I work restaurant hours Thursday through Sunday, 3 to 11. This means I have 3 days completely free and I’m available every morning and afternoon. I can’t do anything in my own home because my dog isn’t very good at making friends, but because of that I am very good with walking and caring for more challenging dogs
About: I’ve taken care of the dogs in my neighborhood since I was 11. I’ve dogsat for neighbors and walked dogs before. Most of my family has dogs so when they go out of town I watch their pets. I train for soccer every morning, so dog walking is a great way for me to stay active and keep my legs stretched and warm. I have a super flexible schedule outside of my morning training! I will mainly be walking dogs and will make sure they are hydrated, are able to do their business, and enjoy their time out in the sun and nature! If I am dog sitting in your home I will make sure the dog feels comfortable in his home and that everything is in order when I arrive and leave!

About: I'm a long time volunteer with Friends of the Homeless Animals and I have two rescue dogs of my own. We are a dog loving family and have a very pet friendly home, My dogs have always been very welcoming and have been great with the dozens of foster dogs we've had in and out of our house over the last decade. We decided to try boarding in our home-- we know how difficult it is to go away and worry about your pet. We have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs—our goal is always to give the dogs space and time to relax and feel comfortable. I've done everything from giving insulin shots to oral vaccines. I've had dogs with separation anxiety, dementia, dog aggression--you name an issue, I've had a foster dog with it!, My 26 year old daughter is often with us and is wonderful with dogs and helps out quite a bit. She stands in for me if I have to be away. I work from home, so I am always around. We take walks in our neighborhood and I always make sure someone is around when we are boarding a dog We are fenced in and make it a point to be extremely watchful of the dogs in our home. We don’t take our boarding dogs off the leash.

About: From a young age, one of my greatest aspirations was to learn how to properly train and care for dogs. At just nine years old, I saved my birthday money and—with the help of my parents—welcomed my very first puppy into my life. From that moment forward, dogs have remained a central part of my life. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of raising and caring for five dogs, including one beloved companion who is no longer with us. Today, my fur family includes two Shih Tzus, an Australian Cattle Dog, and a Miniature Australian Shepherd. After relocating to Kansas City, I brought my Australian Cattle Dog and Mini Aussie with me. My two Shih Tzus were raised in New York and remain there with family, where they are comfortable in the environment they’ve always known. Needless to say, these animals mean the world to me. However, if your dog forms a positive connection with one of mine and you specifically request that they join us for companionship during walks or activities, I’m happy to accommodate when appropriate. My goal is simple: to ensure your dog feels safe, engaged, and well cared for—while giving you complete peace of mind. Pet care is already part of my daily routine so, adding another to the pack isn’t a hassle! My two pups keep me busy and on schedule, they’re fed around 8am, and again at 5pm. Aside from routine morning walks, they exercise for roughly 1.5hrs daily (depending on weather conditions). My home is smoke free, and pet welcoming. I have 4 amazing dogs (Mini Aussie, Australian Cattle Dog, and 2 Shitzus) that will happily keep your pup entertained! They are thoroughly trained and well mannered. If you have a pet that you don’t think will do well with this interaction, I will gladly chat with you to see if we can find a way to accommodate! About: I love taking care of friendly dogs and making sure that they are as comfortable as possible. We'd have lots of play time in the yard, leashed walks around the block a couple of times a day and enough quiet and rest time to ensure a relaxing stay for your pet. They would be joining my neutered 5 year old mini bernadoodle (15lbs), Stella who is a real lady :-)) I work from home so will usually be around to look after and play with your pet. There will be yard play and leashed walks around the block with my furry friend. I have a fenced yard and will always be outside with your pet. Potty breaks are regularly scheduled as well as being as needed depending on your pet. Fresh water is always out, I like to give my dog a chewy treat or milk bone around lunchtime. When we walk around the block it will always be on a leash.
