About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

If you have one animal and your fur baby is staying two weeks or longer with me I will give you a day free. For my Doggy Day Care Services if you board two animals with me on a regular basis I will give you a discount and for you boarding one animal with me for my Doggy Day Care Services I will give you a discount too. I love what I do! I love being around animals! I do this full time as my job even though it is more like a passion than a job to me. I stay at people’s houses. I travel and do pet sitting, I stay over night a lot. The most was a week that I worked for with a client and stayed at their house the whole time. I will also do day sitting or check-ins but mostly overnight and pet sitting during the day at my clients homes. Traveling is a lot and a lot of people like when you stay at their homes with their animals and care for them. The animals are safe and feel comfortable in their own environment. I make sure that all my fur babies are cared for, loved, given the attention that they need and all their needs are met. I am a traveling pet sitter now. I use to board animals in my home until I sold my house just recently. Now, I travel to my clients homes. I mostly stay overnight and for more than one day because my clients go away on vacation. I do many services for my clients. I walk your animal, feed your animal whether if it’s can food, dry food or home made food which I have made home made food for my fur babies before and still do. I administer medication to animals, groom them, brush, bathe, keep them active and help them with their mobility, Play, do fun activities with my fur babies, train, keep them busy and entertained and plenty more. I make sure your animal is well cared for, loved like he or she was my own, given the attention it needs, Be happy and even more. I go over and beyond for my fur babies and each and everyone always feels safe, comfortable, loved, happy and etc….. I have a lot of clients and some of them I care for during the Summer when they go away a lot and some of my clients I care for during the week and in wknds. I am very easy to work with because I am a good person. Good people work with good people. All my clients know how caring I am and feel good about leaving their loved ones with me.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for almost my entire life. I got my first puppy when I was 5 years old and have loved dogs ever since. I’ve taken care of dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, taking the dogs for walks, feeding them, and giving them lots of love and attention. I’ve cared for all different breeds and have cared for puppies, adults, senior, and even disabled dogs. I’ve also dealt with dog with anxiety and rescue dogs who sometimes need to little bit more attention and more gentle care. I currently work from home running my own business and have a flexible schedule. My availability is open and able fit most schedules. I am available weekdays and weekends. I offer a free meet and greet to new clients. This is where we get to know each other and we talk through your pets needs and what you are looking for in a dog sitter/walker. We will talk about your pets likes and dislikes, any medications or special needs they have and any other information I need to know to provide the best care possible for your pet. I always treat every client’s home with the same respect I treat my own and I treat every dog I meet as if they were my own. Your pets will get lots of love and attention and I believe that you know your pet best so I make sure to follow all instructions from clients. I maintain situational awareness at all times, this helps ensure the safety of everyone including your pets. I do my best to send photos and updates during every visit so you can have peace of mind that your fur babies are in good hands.
