“We are extremely pleased with the care that Laura offered for our Bailey. Laura communicated with us during Bailey’s stay with her providing us with peace of mind that Bailey was in good hands and doing well. We definitely would love to use her again and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“We literally couldn’t have found a better sitter for our dogs. Holly and her husband were absolutely wonderful! She wrote me every morning and evening with updates, pictures, and videos of our dogs. They were so happy to be there. She was so kind and patient with them. Even went out of her way to throw a birthday doggie birthday party. Will definitely book again next time we go out of town”

“Carrie and her husband took excellent care of my almost 16 year old pug. I haven’t left her with anyone else in a very long time so was a little nervous, for both her and the sitter. She kept me updated with texts and pictures and was told she was just fine. I’m hoping she can go there again when I need overnight stays.”

“All the Stars!!! This was our dogs first stay using Rover with Jenna and we couldn't be more pleased! Someone who cares for our pup like it was their own with daily pictures and updates! Penny had the best time playing with Stitch and followed good girl rules while she was there. We appreciate Jenna opening her home to our Doggo and taking the best care of her while we were away. Thank you isn't enough for taking such good care of our fur baby!”

“Debbie was amazing! She was in constant contact with us, and proved regular updates and photos of our Zac playing and having a blast. Super caring and very sweet, she provided a fun and loving environment for Zac that a normal kennel could not match. I would absolutly reccomend her again, and will be setting up future play dates for Zac and Freya. Thank you Debbie!”

“Chelsea is an angel. My Rocky is terrified of people and we didn’t think we would be able to leave him with anyone but Chelsea went above and beyond to make him feel safe and secure. She even hand fed him to get him to eat.”

“Tracy cared for my 2 cats for 8 nights. They fight a lot at home and I explained the situation to Tracy. She has worked with them and also gave us few pointers. Back home, they still fight but not that ferociously. Thanks Tracy!”

“Alyssa and Eric have watched Apollo before and again were great with him! She’s great at sending updates and pictures and keeping you reassured your pet is in good hands. I’ll definitely continue to book with them 🙂”

They kept me updated daily with photos and videos, maintained prompt and clear communication, and were very accommodating with drop-off and pickup times. Their flexibility made our travel experience much smoother. Definitely will choose them again. Highly recommend!”

“Maytte is a gem! We have two very shy dogs and weren’t sure how they would do staying with a new person. They loved her and warmed up to her at the meet and greet we set up. It made going away much easier. Maytte sent updates every day, with pictures and videos of the dogs. We could tell they were loved and well cared for. Maytte went above and beyond, buying them each a harness for walks and new toys. We’ve already booked her for our next trip.”

“Eden went above and beyond when she took on a last-minute request to care for our sausage dog, who's known for her larger-than-life vocal personality. Her passion for animals was evident in every aspect of her care. Throughout the day, Eden kept us updated with adorable pictures of our dog, which reassured us that she was in good hands. What truly impressed us was the thoughtful extras: Eden provided a detailed report card on our dog's behavior and even sent us home with a sweet goodie bag. Having someone as trustworthy and passionate as Eden to care for our furry friend was a true blessing. We are grateful for her dedication and will definitely be relying on her again in the future. Highly recommended!”

Tia’s communication was top-notch! she kept me updated throughout the entire stay with regular messages and plenty of adorable photos that brightened my day. It was clear my dog was happy, relaxed, and well cared for, which put my mind at ease. Tia’s attention to detail and genuine love for animals truly set her apart. She made sure my pet’s need were met perfectly and was always available for any questions or updates I needed. I could tell she went the extra mile to make my pup feel comfortable and loved. Her professionalism and warmth made the experience fantastic from start to finish. If you’re looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative dog sitter, book with Tia D. You won’t be disappointed – I loved the experience and so did my dog :)”

“Kayla was flexible with taking care of my guinea pigs in addition to my cat. The house was cleaner than I expected upon return since the shavings/hay can get dusty but Kayla obviously put in the extra time to sweep up. There were a few communication gaps (was not notified that kibble was running low until the bag was down to its last feeding, use of Rover cards only without any actual updates on pet status) but overall I am happy with my first use of this website for pet care.”

About: I grew up with two cats, so I love cats as well as dogs. In 2019, I adopted an incredibly loving, gorgeous lab pit named Lucy, and she keeps me very active every day! She was a rescue dog, and although we were originally fostering her, I bonded with her too much to let her go. I’ve always been a natural introvert and have been drawn to the compassion of animals. I believe we can learn more about our own humanity through caring for animals. I look forward to meeting your amazing furry friends! In addition to Rover, I substitute teach right now, and this allows me to have a very flexible schedule. It's closer to part-time than full-time. My priority is to listen and adapt to each client’s needs/preferences, so that both the client and their pets will be as happy as possible.

“Susan looked after my dog Gainsley for a week while I was on vacation. I can not say enough good things about how well Susan took care of Gainsley while I was away. Susan regularly sent me pictures to constantly reassure me that Gainsley was happy. I can not thank her enough.”

“Ginger siempre tiene un buen día con Suanny. Siempre está entusiasmada por regresar y ver Suanny y su familia. Adicionalmente, Suanny es muy amable y flexible con un horario difícil y la necesidad de cambios de planes en el último momento. Es evidente que ella le importa ambos la mascota y la persona.”

About: With 6 years of dedicated experience in pet care, I provide a comprehensive and compassionate service tailored to the unique needs of each animal. My expertise extends beyond basic care to include specialized skills such as positive reinforcement-based puppy training, helping to establish good habits from an early age. I also have a deep understanding of senior dog care, including administering medication, providing gentle exercise, and creating a comfortable, low-stress environment. I have experience managing a variety of medical conditions, ensuring your furry family member is safe and well-cared for at all times. My goal is to be a trusted partner in your pet's health and happiness, providing peace of mind while you're away. Each morning starts with feeding, watering, and a potty break for the pets in my care. This is followed by a morning walk or playtime to get their energy out and start the day on a positive note. Throughout the day, I follow individual schedules, which might include specific feeding times for puppies or senior dogs, medication administration, or scheduled walks and potty breaks. The afternoon often includes another round of playtime or enrichment activities, such as puzzle feeders or training sessions, to keep their minds engaged. Evenings are typically quieter, with a final feeding and potty break before a relaxing wind-down. My weekly routine involves a bit more planning. I coordinate with pet owners to schedule walks, check-ins, or overnight stays. I also use this time to restock on supplies and keep detailed records of each pet's behavior, eating habits, and health. If a pet is in my care for an extended period, I might schedule a grooming appointment to ensure they're in top shape. My schedule is built around the needs of the pet, ensuring they receive consistent, loving care and that their owners have peace of mind. Caring for pets, whether on my own or a client's, requires a responsible and attentive approach to ensure their well-being. A fundamental aspect is providing a consistent routine, including scheduled feeding times with high-quality, species-appropriate food and fresh water that is always accessible. Regular exercise is crucial for both physical and mental health; this can range from daily walks for dogs to interactive playtime. Environmental enrichment, such as toys, scratching posts, and comfortable bedding, helps prevent boredom and destructive behaviors. It's also vital to maintain a clean and safe living space by regularly cleaning food and water bowls, litter boxes, and bedding. Beyond daily care, a thorough pet care plan includes regular grooming, such as brushing and nail trims, and staying up-to-date on veterinary care, including vaccinations and preventative treatments for fleas, ticks, and worms. For client homes, clear communication is paramount. It is important for me to obtain detailed instructions regarding the pet's specific needs, routines, medications, and any behavioral quirks, as well as emergency contact information. This holistic approach, combining routine care with attention to individual needs and a focus on safety and hygiene, ensures a happy and healthy life for any pet under my care.

“Thomas was awesome! My wife and I have been using Rover for a few years, and this was our first time booking with him. The experience exceeded our expectations. We have a very shy Schnauzer, but Thomas and his family treated him like one of their own. It was clear that they genuinely cared for him and made him feel comfortable while we were away. We also ran into some unexpected complications when returning from our trip, and Thomas was incredibly understanding and accommodating. His flexibility and willingness to help made a stressful situation much easier and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your fur baby with love and care, I highly recommend Thomas. We will definitely be booking with him again!”

“After our dog boarding situation fell through for the week of Christmas, I stumbled upon Matthew and Christie (and their kids) on Rover. Not only were they able to accommodate our last minute reservation, but they were incredibly flexible when a million things went wrong on the tail end of our trip causing delay after delay. All that was awesome, but mostly it was their care and love for our dog (who’s truly the baby of our family and we are all just head over heels for) that was apparent and left us feeling completely at ease. We will absolutely be hitting them up again! We are so grateful to have stumbled upon such a caring loving family to care for our pup when we go out of town.”

“Daylin was a wonderful person to board our dog. Her environment is safe, her demeanor is patient and has a lot of knowledge of dog behavior. She was communicative and sent daily pictures. She really worked to soothe his anxiety and over-tiredness.”

“Lindsey did an amazing job caring for our dogs, Cookie and Rocco, while we were out of town for two nights. She kept in touch throughout their stay, sent plenty of photos and updates, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were busy purchasing a home in New York. It was clear that Cookie and Rocco were well cared for, comfortable, and getting lots of attention. Lindsey was reliable, communicative, and genuinely seemed to enjoy spending time with them. We could not have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely trust Lindsey with our dogs again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter! As dog parents, leaving our babies behind is never easy, but Lindsey made the whole experience stress-free.”
