About: I am good at working with all sizes, ages and breeds of dogs. I have a large fully fenced back yard and live on a quiet street. For longer stays of 1-2 weeks I offer pick up within a 30-45 minute drive from Dalton (this includes Great Barrington, Stockbridge and Lenox). I love dogs and grew up with three mammoth Samoyeds and Malamutes as well as owning my own sweet cavalier Max until he passed. I've dog sat quite a bit - from sweet older dogs to nervous little dogs to velcro Portuguese water dogs. :-) Whatever your dogs routine, I will follow your instructions to the letter to ensure as little disruption to your dogs routine as possible so they feel safe and happy until your return. I know how hard it can be on owners to leave a beloved member of the family behind and how hard it is on a dog to miss their owner. I have dog beds, treats and toys (if allowed). Looking forward to hearing from you. I work from home so your dog will have plenty of companionship and attention from morning to evening. I usually walk dogs according to the schedule they are used to. In between, they can hang with me. IFeeding times will also coincide with your instructions. It's single floor so no stairs for older dogs to contend with.

I have minimal boarding experience, but have had or worked with everything from fish and birds, to dogs to cattle, from snakes to horses, and I love each one of these creatures just as much as the rest. I adore all animals, and cherish my pets so much, and finding some one you can trust to REALLY care for them can be a challenge, so let me make your life a little easier with flexible, reliable, patient and gentle care. As a pet mom to 11 furry, scaly, and feathered babies, I know how hard it can be to find reliable pet care. My animals are my children, my babies; the most important things in my world. I promise to love yours the way I’d love my own. I am currently unemployed and taking a leap. What I’d LOVE is to start my own pet care company. I know how hard it is to find pet care in and around the Berkshires, especially the holidays when all the day cares and well known sitters are booked - so let me take some of that weight off you. I’m flexible and reliable and can do drops ins, walks, day stays, over nights, or multiple day stays. I’m open to any animal type, including pocket pets, exotics and special needs. What can I say? Pets are really the only thing most of us like in this crazy world; so it’s kind of the perfect job. 😉 I am open to all types of care, all types of animals, and all types of situations. I have experience in vet medicine and have had elderly and special needs animals my whole life. No matter how long my interaction with your baby is, I assure you it will be filled with love.
About: I waitress, have taken care of seniors and am a certified yoga instructor. I have had cats, dogs, chicks, fish, hamsters. I currently do not own any pets. Pets to me are precious friends who are to be taken care of like children. With full attention, support and love. I work from home so I am able to provide that kind of care. I work from home (virtually) and can accommodate boarding weekdays and weekends. I keep a clean and tidy home and have a gorgeous park very close by. Pet care fits in my routine as I used to have a cat until recently. I care for pets with respect and integrity. Showing them love and care. Keeping them and the area around them clean. Accommodating to their needs by always keeping an eye for out for them.

I’m not sure how Mary & Todd could possibly have more energy than our dear Tilly but she’s officially exhausted and had the adventure of a lifetime. They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem.
