About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. I am a teacher and I am looking for summer work. I am free every day until late August. I am willing to walk your dog in your neighborhood or board a dog over night. I have a stake in my yard for when my daughter visits with her 35 lb. Dog. Previous bigger dogs were walked on a leash at all times. I usually walk my dogs 1-2x daily for up to a 1/2 hour.
About: I have 6+ years of taking care of my 2 jack Russell’s, neighbors dogs + cats in 3 different states and my boyfriends parents 2 cats (1 disabled). Promptly giving medicine to those animals in need for specific time, and patience tending to their attentions and needs. I work full time remote M-Thursday 8am-4pm with an hour and half lunch break each day. I work 3x a week part time on site and can be flexible as needed. I have a high energy dog (Jack Russell) that requires a lot of assertiveness and strict use of instruction. But at the same time requires rewards and playtime. I love to care for animals, but also care about the safety of myself, and owners property always keeping that at a #1 priority of my surroundings and the pets safety and better interest of the owner.
About: I have had many dogs over the years and have trained and cared for all ages and stages. I have experience with reactive dogs, resource guarding, post surgery care, wound care, and medication. I have medic training and am not squeamish when it comes to wounds or illnesses. Public meet ups take place at Ryder park in Dewitt or Canal Landing in Fayetteville. When requesting please provide date and times you are free to meet. I do not offer tours of my home. After a public meet up I can arrange a tour of the yard if needed. This is for safety of dogs and people. Taking a break from the 9-5 job and staying home hanging with the dogs. Have availability to take on a few more dogs due to the passing of my current clients pets. Dogs are unique with their own needs and boundaries. I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs can access using a doggy door. Each dog (or family if siblings want to be together) are booked into their own room that is set up for their specific needs. The dogs gets to decompress and given whatever space they need to be happy and relaxed. I have crates of every size if the dog needs one. I do not crate unless there is a safety concern. Dogs have free reign of the house and yard as long as I am home. If I am not home the dogs are in their rooms which are video monitored (maximum of ~4 hours). The rooms are closed off with gates so dogs have open view of hallways. I use TV or music to create background noise. Dogs do not interact without supervision and any dog introduction is done slowly and never forced. The house is large enough that should a conflict arise the dogs can be placed in separate levels of the house and not interact. When dogs stay with me I see them as my dogs and treat them as family.

Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I’ve had fur babies throughout my entire life growing up. Nine years ago my own fur baby came into my life, Bailey. We love to travel, go to work together and meet new friends. Over the years, I have been the go to family member/friend to pet sit. Which usually entails going for walks, car rides, snuggles, and love. I am available for vet appointments, grooming appointments, so no need to reschedule. I’m a full time employee for the ARC but my position is rather flexible as long as I have enough notice. I update my schedule weekly. When being at my house all babies must be on a leash for everyone’s protection. I do have land behind my house that allows us to run and play. About: I've had dogs my whole life. They're such a big part of me and I absolutely love meeting them. I'll follow any specifacation you may have for your dog. I love taking walks and playing with them. I will also feed additional pets that you may have or clean yards if needed. I am currently in college in the afternoon for an few hours on monday through thursday. I can stay at the owner's house if needed. About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. I’ve taken care of dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, taking the dogs for walks, feeding them, and giving them lots of love and attention. I’ve cared for all different breeds and have cared for puppies, adults, senior, and even disabled dogs. I’ve also cared for dogs with anxiety and rescue dogs who sometimes need patience and a little extra care and attention I currently work from home running my own business and have a flexible schedule. My availability is open and able fit most schedules. I am available weekdays and weekends. I offer a free meet and greet to new clients. This is where we get to know each other and we talk through your pets needs and what you are looking for in a dog sitter/walker. We will talk about your pets likes and dislikes, any medications or special needs they have and any other information I need to know to provide the best care possible for your pet. I always treat every client’s home with the same respect I treat my own and I treat every dog I meet as if they were my own. Your pets will get lots of love and attention and I believe that you know your pet best so I make sure to follow all instructions from clients. I am very understanding person considering i’ve had a lot of pets and also come from a big family. i’ve taken care of neighbors animals for a while and never had a complaint. pet care fits in my schedule because i pet sit part time. i am a full time college student but on weekend and nights i dog sit. About: I have over 10 years of hands-on professional dog care experience working in dog daycares, boarding kennels, and grooming facilities in both Colorado and New York. I’ve managed large daycare playgroups of 15–20 dogs, monitored interactions, redirected rough play, and maintained calm, structured environments. One of our daily staff challenges involved having an entire group line up and hold a sit at the same time—something I was proud to accomplish more than once. I also worked at a boarding and grooming kennel in Durango, CO owned by a competitive dog-show handler with extremely high standards. Because staff was small, I gained extensive one-on-one experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, including nail trims (even nervous dogs), coat-specific brushing, ear and dental care, bathing, drying, and boarding routines. I also handled front-desk responsibilities, scheduling, and check-ins. At home, I live with two very friendly dogs of my own—Cooper, a beagle, and Tucker, an Australian Shepherd–beagle mix. They are social, affectionate, and almost always carrying a ball around the house. We play daily enrichment games such as hide-and-seek: I’ll have them wait in another room while I hide their balls or bedtime treats, and when I let them out, them they make a mad dash to look for them. It’s one of their favorite parts of the day and a fun way to keep them moving and engaged when it's too cold outside or when I'm doing things around the house. Our home is fully set up for boarding with a large fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor play, plus a dedicated dog-care nook stocked with harnesses, leashes, winter jackets, brushes, and treats.
