“We can not rate Christalle and her husband Brek highly enough. From the beginning contact/meet n greet stage they were communicative and helpful, calming all our over-protective doggie-parent nerves. (Jack is nervous with new people but warmed to both of them immediately). They left us feeling tranquil about leaving our most precious love with them. something that has NEVER happened in our 5 years of various boarding/sitting experiences. During Jack's 5 day stay with them they sent us several pictures, several times, of our boy living it up with them! They even donated their own blankets and bedding for him to snuggle in as I forget to bring his bed in my rush to leave for the airport. Playtime and outside fun seemed to be in abundance. Christalle&Brek's apartment has a fenced-in back and front area perfect for dogs to roam. Jack was petted and loved as though he was family, of that I am sure. So much so, that much to my amazement, he didn't want to leave them when I came to pick him up! (and btw they were very understanding about our several-times delayed return flight home). This delightful, truly dog-loving couple exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you guys. We love you!”

Kai is a rescue, so we’re always a bit concerned about how she’ll do around other dogs. But at Maya’s, Kai becomes a completely different dog! She plays with Maya’s little Milo and seems to love Maya just as much as she loves being with us. During her first stay, Kai was a little nervous, but the second time—when we brought her for a longer stay—it felt like a full-on reunion. She was so excited to see Maya and Milo, and that gave us all the reassurance we needed to truly relax while we were away. Maya went above and beyond by sending us tons of pictures and videos of Kai’s “vacation,” and it genuinely looked like she was having the best time. I was nervous to leave them for this amount of time especially because one is elderly and has some health issues. Janyl immediately put me at ease during our initial meet and greet. She was very thorough, asked great questions, and was clearly very knowledgable. Janyl had great intuition when it came to the cats' temperaments. She checked in with me daily, sent lots of pictures, and gave me a detailed run down of what she and the cats did each day. She even clipped their nails during her visit and vacuumed. About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. I am a teacher and I am looking for summer work. I am free every day until late August. I am willing to walk your dog in your neighborhood or board a dog over night. I have a stake in my yard for when my daughter visits with her 35 lb. Dog. Previous bigger dogs were walked on a leash at all times. I usually walk my dogs 1-2x daily for up to a 1/2 hour.

Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

“She did amazing, I will be asking for her service again. When I got home about an hour after she had returned my furbabies from their walk they were excited to see me per usual but not jumping off the wall. I did get a movement alert from our camera facing the driveway, and it was her expertly handling both of my giant furbabies while leaving the house. Usually our younger one tries ripping people's shoulders out but he was walking very pleasantly next to her. She did great I would give 10 stars if it were possible.”

About: I’ve lived and taken care of dogs and cats my whole life and have had multiple temporary dog sitting jobs. Jobs including; walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I’m working part time but am free many days of the week. I’m available mostly in the afternoon and night hours. I have had a dog my whole life mostly labs but I really enjoy dogs and watching their interactions with humans and with other pets. My pups go everywhere with me especially on hikes they are troopers. Wouldn't mind having some other dogs to accompany us. I am currently working full time from home with a flexible schedule. I take my dogs for walks around the neighborhood on breaks and lunches. I have a large back yard with a lot of room to play ball or to fetch. I have other friendly playful dogs that would love to have some play mates.

“This was our first time leaving our sweet girl, and we went back and forth on different options. Kai is a rescue, so we’re always a bit concerned about how she’ll do around other dogs. But at Maya’s, Kai becomes a completely different dog! She plays with Maya’s little Milo and seems to love Maya just as much as she loves being with us. During her first stay, Kai was a little nervous, but the second time—when we brought her for a longer stay—it felt like a full-on reunion. She was so excited to see Maya and Milo, and that gave us all the reassurance we needed to truly relax while we were away. Maya went above and beyond by sending us tons of pictures and videos of Kai’s “vacation,” and it genuinely looked like she was having the best time. About: I have taken care of animals my entire life and know that they are more then just pets they are family. I will treat them as they such :) I work from home full time mo day threw Friday normally till 430 and can take breaks to let them outside in country for a walk. I live in country suburb and can walk dogs on break with leash. I can let out on my breaks from work or afterwork anytime.
