About: We have a beloved Cat named Chocolate, my daughters named her Chocolate because they “really love Chocolate”! I also have 2 small senior dogs that get along with cats. I have never met an animal that I don’t like…dog, cat, farm animal or wild animal. They all are special and a pet is absolutely a family member. I whole heartedly understand the love of a pet and promise to treat them as part of my family while they’re in my care.

My dog, Zeke and I had a companion kind of relationship, built on mutual respect and happiness; it's something I wouldn't have traded for the world. He sadly passed away in October 2025 after 12 years together, so it would be an understatement to say I'm more than happy to pour extra love to your pup. Times are tough; starting a new 'negotiations and bartering' acceptance. Reach out, the worst I can say is no! Mountain hikes, kayak paddles (>15 pounds) are my favorites, but I am open to other ideas/training requests! Paddleboarding, swimming lessons...the possibilities are endless. One hour minimum is preferred; gas and travel time to the adventure site are included. I have many mountains, lakes and trails on my list, so I do not see it as fair to charge you for that time! You will only be charged for adventure time. Depending on your pup(s) comfortability in the car, we may travel up to 45 minutes. About: Growing up with 6 dogs in our home at once, I have a special connection and love for animals. Working with rescues, pure breed dogs, females in heat and knowing how to whelp, has given me plenty of experience. I have been boarding dogs in my home for over 7 years. I am home full time, with the occasional errand to run. There is a place to hike, with great trails, right up the road from my home. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can run, play and hangout in the sun. I live on 9 acers, for us to explore and go for walks. I have dogs of my own, so your dog will have plenty of socialization and play time. Raw food diet or special dietary issues are not a problem. Meet and greet is required for all potential stays.

I know how important it is to make sure your pet is in a safe environment while still getting the structure and schedule they are used to. From my antisocial low energy mutt that I trained to be a therapy dog and acted as a therapy dog for 3 years to my high energy high-maintenance senior German shorthaired pointer as well as every dog from a beagle to a great Dane. “First of all, I was super nervous to leave my precious Teddy with someone we didn't know (and the first time he'd have been left with someone we didn't know) & Rebecca was fantastic! Kept me in the loop with how teddy was doing, got him calmed down cause he was nervous too/ sent me photos of my lil guy throughout his stay with them... I couldn't say enough good things about our experience! Teddy seemed to love them too and that's what matters to me. I'll definitely be wanting Rebecca to watch him on our future summer adventures where pups aren't allowed. THANKS SO MUCH!”
