About: I’ve handled dogs for the AKC since I was 12 years old starting in junior handling and worked my way up to professional handling very quickly. I am open all days of the week and I live right next-door. (Same building) The dogs will be cared for as I would my own and taking out consistently also making sure they have plenty freshwater in this heat. Along with lots of belly rubs!! The facility can be locked. I am there constantly and there’s plenty of room. I’m always available and I make sure that every pup is happy. If you have a puppy or dog with severe separation anxiety I can sleep downstairs with your dog also.

About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. About: I grew up with two cats, so I love cats as well as dogs. In 2019, I adopted an incredibly loving, gorgeous lab pit named Lucy, and she keeps me very active every day! She was a rescue dog, and although we were originally fostering her, I bonded with her too much to let her go. I’ve always been a natural introvert and have been drawn to the compassion of animals. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

I also have experience working with reptiles and snakes as an intern for an environment education center. I took care of a box turtle, corn snake, and painted turtle. I’m comfortable administering oral medication. I have my own vehicle that’s completely pet friendly so if I have to travel or take your dog somewhere, no problem! Bonus: I do have livestock experience as well! ****All I ask is that if you and your dogs enjoyed working with me, please leave me a review! It helps with bookings :) I work from home part time so I have lots of availability especially for drop ins and walks. It fits in perfectly with my schedule. I am willing to meet the pets many times beforehand to establish trust. If dogs are more on the adaptable side, I make sure we have a lot of fun while I visit, playing, walking, exploring etc. If dogs are a bit more unsure, I stick to their routine they are used to for comfort reasons.

“We were very apprehensive to board our puppy at just barely 6 months old, but Ashley and Brian put us at ease throughout the whole process. Prior to securing the booking we talked about all the specifics and when we arrived we were able to have our pup get acquainted with the other dogs. We got daily, detailed updates and many pictures. About: I’ve handled dogs for the AKC since I was 12 years old starting in junior handling and worked my way up to professional handling very quickly. I am open all days of the week and I live right next-door. (Same building) The dogs will be cared for as I would my own and taking out consistently also making sure they have plenty freshwater in this heat. Along with lots of belly rubs!! The facility can be locked. I am there constantly and there’s plenty of room. I’m always available and I make sure that every pup is happy. If you have a puppy or dog with severe separation anxiety I can sleep downstairs with your dog also.
