From the moment we met for a meet-n-greet, I was completely comfortable with Julian and Jocelyn which is rare for me. I think it was a combination of their apparent genuine love for dogs, their experience with dealing with different personalities of dogs, and the fact that they asked very specific and thoughtful questions about Brooklyn, that put my mind completely at ease. During the stay, they spent lots of quality time with Brooklyn, took her to the park regularly, and had plenty of cuddle time with her. I was afraid that Brooklyn would not want to come home afterwards! As well, Julian and Jocelyn were very attentive to Brooklyn, sent very detailed updates about Brooklyn's day and when they noticed Brooklyn was licking her romp a little more than usual they immediately brought it to my attention. In addition to being great hosts to Brooklyn, this couple was also more than accommodating with drop off and pick up. I was traveling to an area with impending threat of Hurricane Mathew and my travel plan was up in the air the day before my planned departure. Julian and Jocelyn were totally understanding and remained flexible with the drop off and pick up time/ date which was super helpful. Overall, I cannot say enough great things about this couple as they have been amazing throughout this experience. In fact, this has been the first trip during which I have not had some kind of panic attacks due to lack of communication with Brooklyn's host, which makes the vacation that much better. Without a doubt, I would not hesitate to leave Brooklyn with this couple again, and highly, highly recommend them to other dog parents. That is, of course, when they don't book them when I need to leave Brooklyn with them :).”

I have training skills in potty training, commands, etc. I have some minimal behavioral training as well. I wake up at 6:00 am everyday. The dogs will get fed shortly after being walked. From there they will be walked every 4 hours. Plus they will get play time for example hike, running, fetch, swimming, etc. I do have 4 dogs in my home. They are all very friendly and well trained. They have been through extensive dog training. I also have enrichment toys to help keep your pups occupied. I have the ability to separate the dogs if needed. I do also have the knowledge of medication administration. I do make sure to monitor the entire time. Will be sure to send photo and video updates.

About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals from farm animals to house pets. I have owned many dogs and cats in the past and now. I currently have 2 huskies and 2 cats of which I completely take care of. I also have work experience when I had a job in Texas working at a doggy daycare, I learned basic training methods along with gaining the proper experience to understand dog behavior. I have a relatively open schedule, I do work two other part time jobs one being mostly night time shift and the other is whenever I choose to work. Please know I try my best to help anyone even last minute requests, but sometimes I may not be available if asked to late! I always am happy to try to be available for everyone. This makes me pretty much 24/7 available, but it’s usually best if you schedule at least a few days to a week in advance. Prices for all of my services are not negotiable, depending on the service/details. To ease your comfort I offer a free meet-and-greet visit before any paid service is handled. This isn’t required before services, and I’m usually confident enough to go without one, but it can help answer any questions you have and ensure your pet is comfortable with me. If issues were to arise while I take care of your pets their safety is the first priority to me. I will be gentle and patient with any pet cared for.

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. I have a very sweet four year old male English Cream Golden Retriever, named Nigel, who loves friends more than anything (other than treats) and will be my permanent doggie daycare assistant. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.

I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. About: I’ve spent many years volunteering at shelters. Dog walking at a very young age started walking dogs in my neighborhood as a kid. It’s only progressed from there. I have training skills in potty training, commands, etc. I have some minimal behavioral training as well. I wake up at 6:00 am everyday. The dogs will get fed shortly after being walked. From there they will be walked every 4 hours. Plus they will get play time for example hike, running, fetch, swimming, etc. I do have 4 dogs in my home. They are all very friendly and well trained. They have been through extensive dog training. I also have enrichment toys to help keep your pups occupied. I have the ability to separate the dogs if needed. I do also have the knowledge of medication administration. I do make sure to monitor the entire time. Will be sure to send photo and video updates.
“JD and his family took excellent care of my two dogs, Dot and Tot. They were caring, meticulous about schedules, and communicative to me throughout the weekend. Their house is located next to a large park with a variety of hiking trails - an excellent location providing plenty of walking and exercise opportunities. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again when I come back up!”

Our chocolate lab, Ellie Bear, absolutely loves making new friends, chasing tennis balls, and cooling down afterward in the pet pool on warmer days! 🐻💦 For boarding stays, I can easily accommodate your dog’s sleeping preferences. If your pup is crate trained, I’m happy to crate them when needed, or they can relax in a cozy dog bed for bedtime. And if your dog is used to extra snuggles and sleeping close to their humans, we don’t mind cuddles in bed either — we want them to feel as comfortable and at home as possible. Most importantly, your dog will never be left alone. Someone will always be home 24/7 — whether it’s myself, or Kevin — so your pup will always have supervision, companionship, love, and care.
