I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.
About: I have been taking care of my personal pets and assisting family with theirs since I was about 12. I have experience mostly with cats and dogs(everything from feeding and bathing to grooming and administering medication, I don’t do nails though), but I can also take care of basic needs for birds such as feeding/water and cleaning cages. I currently do gig work so I have as much time as I need or you want to take care of your pets and make sure they get some love! Your home your rules! She stayed in contact with us, made sure our cat took his meds, which is extremely important , and sat with him and pet him every visit so he wouldn't be lonely. She was prompt and stuck to her schedule. She made sure our cat had fresh water and food, and cleaned the litter box. We were anxious about leaving him but she demolished our fears and we were able to rest assured knowing our cat Maui was being well taken care of. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and plenty of personal experience with watching family dogs. Beginning in 2020, I became a dog foster and have taken care of several different types of dogs while they awaited their forever home. From an Alaskan Malamute to a Chihuahua, a 3 month old puppy to an old lady and a lazy bulldog to the most active Australian Shepherd — I am experienced with all different personalities & lifestyles! I work 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. I am available to provide services outside of my working hours as long as my schedule permits! I frequently volunteer and work with local shelters and rescues, I also have worked as veterinary assistant for 2 years so I have a lot of experience with administering medications and emergencies! I currently have 3 dogs of my own, all are under 35 pounds but get along nicely with other pets. If your pet is staying at my home and really doesn’t like other pets, I could definitely accommodate keeping them separated! I treat my dogs and others as my babies, I’m always letting them out whenever necessary, and making sure to administer any medication properly and on time, I let my personal pets on furniture and beds, but understand if you have rules regarding that and I will be sure to follow those. I have boarded friends dogs at my home before for the past two years, and have cared for both dogs and cats in others homes. I live farther off the road on 31 acres, we have a super large yard, and lots of wooded trails! If I am staying in your home overnights I will need to currently bring along my little senior dog, as he requires medication and supervision from me. He is very well behaved, and is mostly just in my arms being carried the whole time. I’m very flexible, so if you have any questions at all, be sure to reach out to me! I’m currently home full time, so your furbaby will never be left alone and have supervision 24/7! Also, if your pet has a schedule that they’re used, please do let me know so I can continue that! I prefer to take pups out on a leash as my yard is not fenced, however if you feel that your pup would do okay off leash, I can let them off for periods of time. I of course will always be right there with them and supervising! I also have a very large home, so there is plenty of room to play inside as well!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I currently have a cat, Leo and an Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix, Stella. I treat my animals like children, because they are my babies! I have a soft spot for animals and I will treat your pets the way I would want someone to treat mine while I am away. I work from home primarily, so I can watch your pet in my home and take your dog for frequent walks throughout the day. I am also available at nights and on the weekends for drop-in visits. About: I have loved taking care of dogs my entire life. I am lucky enough to be able to help with my five grand dogs. All very different ages and personalities. About: I’m very particularly clean and have always been picky about staying clean and organized. Making sure the litter box area is clean, food and water bowls etc. :) I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with pups! My work schedule does vary week to week but I’m just looking to make some extra money on the side. At home i have 2 German shepherds that are very active and love to play. We have a very large open backyard that they roam freely. I frequently watch dogs that are leash only and love a good walk! I also have 2 cats and always make sure they have food and a clean water bowl and litter box. We are very strict in my house and always make sure the litter box is clean and the surrounding areas!

I also have experience watching and walking dogs for other people, including strangers’ pets, and I’m comfortable with different personalities and energy levels. About: I have been a Vet assistant for almost 2 years and on the road to becoming a technician. I have also taken a 2 year small animal science program. I am fear free certified along with CPR in animals. I have a bunch of experience working with animals, and am comfortable giving medication or whatever care they may need! Im available most weekends and a couple weekdays to take care of your pets. I’m also available most nights after work to squeeze in some visits as well! I make sure the pet is as comfortable as I am. I have experience mostly with cats and dogs(everything from feeding and bathing to grooming and administering medication, I don’t do nails though), but I can also take care of basic needs for birds such as feeding/water and cleaning cages.
