I grew up with cats and had a small but successful dog-walking and pet-sitting business in my neighborhood growing up. About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

Besides being a convenient location to Saratoga Springs, Kelly’s house was perfectly set up for dog sitting with a clean food and water bowl. About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Been boarding and running daycare full time for 10+ years. I have studied dog behaviors, CPR trained, used to train and have spent my life learning dogs. Part of my business is even making pet products like bow ties, bandanas, toys, healthy treats, signs and organic paw wax. I run my boarding and daycare full time. It is what i live every day. I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. Once daycare is complete or dog dependent, the door comes open and the pups join our pack (2) snuggling on the couch and begging in the kitchen 😉
About: I grew up with all different kinds of animals as a child, and I had my own dog, which was a Yorkie. I know how to take care of dogs with disabilities and extreme anxiety as I dealt with that with my own dog. I genuinely love all dogs and I can’t wait to be able to have one of my own but for now dog sitting/dog boarding is just what fits with my life. I recently helped take care of a 6 month old puppy in the city even helping with training. I also took care of my roommates 2 Australian shepherds this summer (1 of them does not do well with other dogs at all) and so I had to be extremely careful when taking them on walks/keeping tight hold on the leash. I work from home every day of the week and I have pretty flexible hours and ample time to take care/walk dogs which is why I can easily make any schedule work. I live right next to a park which I can take the dogs to multiple times per day. I’m also a morning person and love to go for runs and walks before work and if I have a dog staying with me, I would be more than happy to bring them with me.

About: I’m very particularly clean and have always been picky about staying clean and organized. Making sure the litter box area is clean, food and water bowls etc. :) I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with pups! My work schedule does vary week to week but I’m just looking to make some extra money on the side. At home i have 2 German shepherds that are very active and love to play. We have a very large open backyard that they roam freely. I frequently watch dogs that are leash only and love a good walk! I also have 2 cats and always make sure they have food and a clean water bowl and litter box. We are very strict in my house and always make sure the litter box is clean and the surrounding areas!

About: I have donated many hours going to my local dog shealter and dealing with many different types of dogs. Learning each of their personalities was one of my favorite things about going there. I then ended up adopting one myself! I have just graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh and still am unsure of my next move in life. I have such a strong passion for animals and love spending time with them and also doing what is necessary to make their lives better. I have a big back yard with no neighboring dogs, this allows for my one dog to have the best time back there. I have a 30 ft leash and balls are provided!

I am a stay at home mom so it's very easy to fit in providing the excellent care for your fur babies to my schedule! I can do anything needed, whether it's basic a stop during the day or if you need more specific detailed care like medicine administered. We will adjust my care routine to the needs of your fur baby.
About: I have always had both dogs and cats in the home along with exotic animals such as turtles, hamsters, rats, and bearded dragons along with fish. Currently at home I have a 3 year old pitbull/boxer mix and a pitbull Mix that is almost a year. I helped train our pitbull and have experience with puppies. I also dog and cat sit along with house sit for various people in my community during breaks and holidays. I am currently a full-time student, so getting out and around pets which I lack where I am right now is perfect for my schedule. It allows me my much needed pet time. I love to take morning walks/runs and evenings, and have the occasional break throughout the day in which I can care for your pet. Luckily my schedule is relatively flexible outside of class! When in a clients home I care for the dog just as instructed to do so and try to maintain a stable environment as if their person was home. This is to reduce the stress for the pet in what is already likely a stressful situation. As for the trust I love to meet the pet before caring for them or taking them on walks in order to ensure trust and make sure the pet is comfortable so everyone is safe and receives the best care. If for walks/run, I make sure not to go beyond the dogs fitness level, as my goal is to get their energy out and not to completely exhaust them.
About: 20 plus years experienced caretaker. I've rescued, fostered and adopted senior pets, pregnant mamas, puppies and the like. I have experience with walks, overnights, administering meds, wound care and of course snuggles. I work a pretty flexible part time schedule of afternoon and early evening hours a few days a week that allows me to schedule visits as needed to accommodate your pets schedule. However I am instructed to do so by the owner. In my home, I have a fenced in yard, there is also a dog park in the community. I have animal crates if needed. Large and small depending upon what is needed. I also have a silly dog of my own at home as a companion.
