Monday- Thursday I am available for pet visits from 10:30-2:30 and again from 5-9 pm Fridays - I am available from 10:30-1:00 for visits Weekends-vary During daycare hours I will always be in the home with your pet unless we are going on an outing together. Play, snacks, walks, songs, and naps will be provided daily. I do have two cats, who will probably stay out of the way, but cat friendly creatures are always preferred.

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. “Sara was amazing! This was the first time I boarded my rescue and I was nervous to leave her. Sara put my mind at ease! We had a meet and greet, which went great! She has two other dogs and my tons of energy furbaby had a ball with her 11 month old. She has a huge "high" fenced in yard and chicken wire 3 feet below the fence, so dogs cannot dig their way out! She has a great set up! When I dropped Rosie off for vacation, Sara knew I was sad and nervous. She kept telling me it would be alright and promised she would keep an eye on my dog. Within in minutes of leaving, she sent me pictures and updates! I got daily pictures, videos and updates, which I looked forward to seeing! She put my mind at ease and both my pup and I enjoyed our vacations! Sara is a kind hearted and wonderful person. I would use her again in a heartbeat. About: I have two boy cats and one of them has experienced kidney stones. My family has had dogs who live long lives and with old age experience health issues. I have had to administer liquid and pill medicine many times to both cats and dogs. I maintain litter boxes daily and I always spoil my boys with the best food toys and treats. Enrichment is so important for all animals. I also know how to fend off food fiends. Playtime is my favorite time I try to mix things up and provide something new for them to experience every day. I am also great with mediating relationships between cats and dogs.

About: I have had many dogs over the years and have trained and cared for all ages and stages. I have experience with reactive dogs, resource guarding, post surgery care, wound care, and medication. I have medic training and am not squeamish when it comes to wounds or illnesses. Public meet ups take place at Ryder park in Dewitt or Canal Landing in Fayetteville. When requesting please provide date and times you are free to meet. I do not offer tours of my home. After a public meet up I can arrange a tour of the yard if needed. This is for safety of dogs and people. Taking a break from the 9-5 job and staying home hanging with the dogs. Have availability to take on a few more dogs due to the passing of my current clients pets. Dogs are unique with their own needs and boundaries. I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs can access using a doggy door. Each dog (or family if siblings want to be together) are booked into their own room that is set up for their specific needs. The dogs gets to decompress and given whatever space they need to be happy and relaxed. I have crates of every size if the dog needs one. I do not crate unless there is a safety concern. Dogs have free reign of the house and yard as long as I am home. If I am not home the dogs are in their rooms which are video monitored (maximum of ~4 hours). The rooms are closed off with gates so dogs have open view of hallways. I use TV or music to create background noise. Dogs do not interact without supervision and any dog introduction is done slowly and never forced. The house is large enough that should a conflict arise the dogs can be placed in separate levels of the house and not interact. When dogs stay with me I see them as my dogs and treat them as family.

About: I have 4 years of veterinary care experience along with 2 years of pet boarding experience. I own and care for several of my own animals as well! I am currently available for afternoon visits and care on week days. I have full availability on the weekends for any needs! I can also do midday pop in’s depending on location! I have 1 very friendly dog who does amazing with other animals but if your pet isn’t a fan I always have another safe space for them. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard therefore your pet will always be leashed for their safety. I will ensure we do lots of walks and playing to get their exercise!

About: I have always had a way with animals. They seem able to feel the peace and caring in me so that aren’t afraid.I am personable and genuinely care for people and animals . I am 58 years old and have extra time to take care of your pet. I don’t work a full time job anymore so I am available mostly anytime I am needed If you need me to stay in your home to care for your pet, I am respectful of your house and everything within it. I own my house and know the anxiety of leaving someone you don’t know in your home wondering what your home will look like when you get back. Your home will look exactly the same as it did when you left. Possibly even clear than when you left.
