“It is obvious that Samantha loves dogs and cares for her “guests” as much as she cares for her own dog. My 2 had a great weekend and I felt better knowing they were together and well-cared for. Sam sent regular photos of them too. I would book again!”

“Kathy and Tim took care of Bodie over Thanksgiving week and our pooch had a great stay! We received daily updates and photos and we could tell he felt quite at home. Their dog, Bailey, is well-mannered and friendly to people and other dogs - not a concern at all for Bodie (who's a bit picky about other dogs). We are THRILLED we found a very comfortable and caring home-away-from-home for Bodie and already have plans to bring him back next month. Thank you!!”

“Kim watched Sir Sparklepuff for 17 days, following our relocation. We had been worried about leaving him at such a transitional time, but she made the extra effort of meeting him prior to his stay with her, first in our home, then in her own. His stay seems to have gone quite well -- he was returned to us happy and well-cared for. Kim also sent us daily photos which were absolutely remarkable -- professional quality! She clearly spent time connecting with him, and playing with him. We are sure to use her services again, and cannot recommend her highly enough!”

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.
“Kate made setting up our time easy, very responsive. Wonderful set up for dogs both inside and outside of the house. Great communication while we were away and Sophie had a great time. We will definitely be booking again with Kate.”

“Samantha was amazing! She was able to help me out last minute and was super communicative! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about the pets she cares for. Highly recommended!”

“Ellen and John stepped up and helped me out with my boy Havi when I needed boarding at the last minute. They were quick to respond and very accommodating even at the last minute! They stayed in communication with me throughout and took such great care of Havi as he sometimes needs extra attention. I am beyond grateful for Ellen and John and the service and care they provided! Highly recommend and will be using them again in the future!”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kyle and Max! They took amazing care of our golden retriever, Harry, for five days and treated him like he was part of their family. From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in great hands. Kyle and Max kept Harry entertained, active, and happy with plenty of adventures, playtime, and attention. The photos and updates they sent gave us so much peace of mind and made it clear just how much love and care they were giving him. Harry came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that they took the time to get to know his personality and made sure he felt comfortable and loved while we were away. If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, we highly recommend Kyle and Max. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did for Harry and would not hesitate to book with them again! Thank you both for giving Harry such a fun-filled and loving home away from home! He misses you already.🐾❤️”

“Jeff was wonderful with Topher. He's got a very calm demeanor and seems to understand dogs very well. He watched him for several days and nights for us and kept us updated regularly.”

“We could not have asked for a better first experience with using Rover for finding a dog sitter. Our dog Bailey was much more relaxed in a home setting than in the large kennel she had stayed at previously. Ema sent us multiple photos daily of Bailey taking long walks, playing with her own dogs, cuddles with her kids, and exhausted from all the fun. We commented often that Bailey won't want to come home with us since she's having so much fun while we're away. Thank you Ema & family for taking wonderful care of Bailey!”

“Dianna and Matthew were excellent hosts for Blue. Dianna goes above and beyond to ensure you have all the peace of mind you need when leaving your dog. It was easily my best experience with Rover yet and I won’t hesitate to book with them again. Thank you!”

“Our dog had a wonderful week with Kathy & Brian while we were traveling! Kathy & Brian were accommodating to Grizz’s lifestyle and needs (he’s quite large and starting to show his age), and we greatly appreciated the photo updates they provided (Grizz always looked so happy and you could tell how much they were loving on him). They were also very understanding and flexible when our travel plans changed unexpectedly on the last day of our trip. We will definitely be booking with Kathy & Brian again!”

“Coco was a little nervous his first night away from home, but Sara stayed up late with him till he eventually fell asleep. Can't say enough good things about Sara. Just sorry she had to put up with a nervous dog. God Bless”

“Destiny has a lovely home that is very practical for petsitting. She has zones and rooms that can be closed off. Her beagle and cat both did well with my cat, no one was traumatized. But the best of course is the loving family my pet enjoyed. They doted on him and tolerated all of his quirks. I felt like he was so well cared for.”

About: I have taken care of small and large breeds of dogs since the young age of seven. As soon as I was able to as an adult I rescued a dog and a cat because no home is complete without the pitter-patter of furry feet. My pets are more than pets, they're family, and yours will be treated just the same when they're in my care. I am currently working part time at the library two doors down from my home so have plenty of time to care for your furry friend. I have a beagle/poodle mix that is two years old that loves to have friends to play with. He sleeps in the bed, but if you prefer your doggie to be crated I can do that too. I also have a 9 year old cat that thinks she's the mommy of the house. She is always cuddling the dog and bathing him.

“Dianna provided wonderful care for my pup, Frankie. She sent several pictures and even videos of the fun they were having together. I look forward to booking with her again and would highly recommend her to others needing top notch care for their pet! Lisa”

“Sara set our minds at ease with her obvious compassion for our pet. The photos and video she sent us convinced us that Coco had found his new "Favorite Place". Thank you Sara, we look forward to seeing you again soon!”

“This was my first time booking and it couldn’t have been better. Kerrie was super patient and helpful as I navigated through everything, answering every question promptly. She was extremely accommodating as we pushed back our arrival time since we didn’t get into town until after midnight while also allowing us to do a later pickup so we could see everything we wanted to see. She was also kind in sending us a picture of our dog during the day. Kerrie, Thank you so much!”

“Absolutely recommend Samantha!! She is super responsive, attentive to needs, and you can tell she just genuinely loves to be around dogs. My dog was in great hands for sure.”

About: My grandparents and mom were professional boarders, breeders, and handlers. I literally grew up on an ex-pen. Once my grandparents retired my mom opened a shop in 2006 and I joined as her certified bather and brusher in 2012. We have had our business ever since.. Taking care of dogs are literlly is in my DNA. I've also worked at a different grooming salon where I was also a bather and brusher. They loved me there because I always made their dogs feel warmed and welcomed by singing to them or giving them a nickname. I personally understand dogs better than humans. It would be my main gig as a job and take priority. I would be available everyday if need be. This is something that I love. Warm and welcomed. Treated as kings and queens who think they're in charge of the house. In or at a client's home respectful of their boundaries they have with their owner and the transition of the separation as they are handed off for their walk. Consoling and compassionate as well.

About: I have experience caring for dogs for friends, family, and my own pet, including daily walks, feeding, playtime, and drop-in visits. I am patient, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s personality and comfort level. I am especially mindful of safety, leash handling, and reading dog body language to ensure positive experiences. My goal is to become a dog trainer, so I genuinely enjoy working with dogs and building trust with them. I have a flexible and evolving schedule that allows me to offer a variety of availability throughout the week. I’m happy to work with your needs whenever possible, and I’m actively increasing my availability for new clients! My dog Havi is truly part of our family. He’s a classic bulldog — a bit stubborn at times, but also incredibly affectionate and a big cuddler with everyone in the house, including my kids. Living with him has reinforced how important it is for dogs to feel secure, comfortable, and loved. I bring that same warmth and attentiveness into the care I provide for every pet.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. It started with my family dog, along with family members dogs. I would walk them and feed them. I then got my own dogs that I do all care for. I started fostering with a local rescue in 2022. I’ve cared for dogs with medical issues. Anywhere from Seizure disorders, parasites and other various medical issues. I treat every dog that I care for as if they’re my own. I currently work full time, M-F 730a-330p. I am able to check in, walk, feed, etc, dogs before work, during my lunch and after work. I have 2 dogs of my own. We live in a 3 bedroom house. Unfortunately, I don’t have a fenced in yard. I do take my dogs on multiple walks everyday along with utilizing a tie out (if they want to stay out longer), and would do the same with yours, so they get some outside time.
“Taylor has been walking my dog on a weekly schedule. She has been reliable, honest, communicative, and my dog seems to really like her! I love that she is also a licensed veterinary technician, it provides me with great peace of mind knowing that she is a trained professional.”

“Aracely let out and fed my puppy midday for 2 months until the end of my school year. She took great care of my little guy. There were two times that she canceled morning of and, with that late notice, I was not able to leave work or get anyone else to take him out. I understand life happens but my little guy did go to the bathroom in his crate both of those days. If I could give 4 1/2 stars, I would!”

About: Ive taken my years of doggie daycare experience to the world of Rover in the name of convenience for my clients! My area of expertise is training, and I have a deep understanding of dog behavior and body language. Each and every dog is unique, especially yours! I’m currently working part time and have been primarily working towards my training clients. I will be available next month, around most weekday evenings and weekends. “Karibian is so friendly and dependable— I would recommend her to anyone needing pet services! She always sends me pictures and updates when she walks my pup, even making time to play with him some and give him pets before putting him back in his kennel after walking. Having her walk my pup makes me feel so much less stressed when I have to leave him for the day, because I know he will be loved on and that I can count on her! We are so glad we found Karibian!”

I have a young Doberman with a lot of energy, and Arya was patient, calm, and firm in just the right way—which is exactly what she needs.

Thank you!”

“Brittani provided wonderful care to our energetic doodle when we recently passed through town. She sent photos and it was clear that our dog felt very comfortable in her home. Thank you, Brittani!”

About: I’m a 33 year old retired dog groomer and ran large grooming salons in the Pittsburgh area as well as here in New York for a total of 10 years. Was also a kennel boarding assistant as well as a vet assistant for a mobile vaccine clinic serving Niagara Falls, Watertown, Rochester and other areas. I have had everything from chihuahuas to Rottweilers and pit bulls. I treat pets like my children and love all shapes and sizes and able to provide medication as well as any other special need requests. I know basic first aid but I do not have pet CPR certification. I also have plenty of references and client feedback if needed to ensure you get the care your pet needs and deserves. I have an open schedule so if you need times outside of my availability please message me and I may be able to work with your schedule! I treat all pets as if they're my own so plenty of love and attention any special requests will also be taken seriously. I'll make sure your pets receive the best care possible!

About: Hi Neighbors, I am a Natural World Enthusiast looking to provide support to pets and their owners in the community. My heart is geared towards animals. I have decades worth of experience caring for dogs, cats and other small pets, from my own to friends and clients in the professional setting. My goal is to provide a sense of physical, mental, and emotional well being for your pet. I am here to help fill in the gaps in your busy schedules and be there. So whether your pal needs a hike, walk around the neighborhood, a feeding, medication dose (dogs and cats) or just a visit, I have your back. We all need movement, attention and praise, pets included. I use positive reinforcement as training method, for all pets at every stage. So whether you have a puppy with some aggression issues, a husky that needs a run, a diabetic cat, fish to be fed and admired, or an stinky old man dog that just needs to be sung to and told he's a good boy I am here to serve. I have two cats personally, they run the household and tell me what to do. They eat twice a day, get their boxes cleaned daily, and petted and played when they decide. Monday- Thursday I am available for pet visits from 10:30-2:30 and again from 5-9 pm Fridays - I am available from 10:30-1:00 for visits Weekends-vary During daycare hours I will always be in the home with your pet unless we are going on an outing together. Play, snacks, walks, songs, and naps will be provided daily. I do have two cats, who will probably stay out of the way, but cat friendly creatures are always preferred.
“I appreciate how confident, chill, and comfortable Jenny is around dogs! My dogs hate being kenneled so having a run with space to play, sniff, dig, rest, and be part of a pack is great for them!”
