“Janet is a lovely lady with whom I felt extremely comfortable with leaving my 15 yr old pomapoo in her care. After our meet and great I knew that Patti would be well taken care of during her 10 day stay. Patti is on several medications along with a special diet so it was important for me to find someone who would be attentive to her needs. Janet is the only person I have ever left my dog with other than my daughter. I will definitely ask her again to dog sit if needed. Janet was always available for me to reach and sent daily photos. The pups didn’t exactly make a great first impression—let’s just say they had some settling in missteps in the first 10 minutes that had us cringing. But Amanda was amazing, brushing it off with a smile and total confidence. She knows her stuff, having worked with veterinary’s practice, and made us feel quite comfortable leaving our pups with her. About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around. I currently work at the local school just minutes from my home. I come home middle of the day. I am home during the summer and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and one dog who is a big baby. Dogs are allowed to lay wherever they are comfortable but can also crate if they are used to that.
About: I can't wait to meet your doggies! We’ve rescued a few bulldogs in the past and I am comfortable taking care of dogs with special needs but love all kinds. We currently have 2 senior fur babies, and a young Chihuahua. I have pet sit for friends and family and am excited to make new furry friends. About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

About: My family is a dog family through and through. I grew up with two dogs in the household at all times, and the rule still stands. Animals have always been a part of my life no matter the lens you look through. Living in a friendly neighborhood allowed me to care for other dogs since I was 12. From sitting, to walking, to simply feeding, I was normally the one to do it! I am an energetic 22 year old who adores playing with any and every furry friend and to get paid doing it!? Sign me up!! Currently, I am an upcoming senior at Bloomsburg University. I am studying Secondary Education with a concentration in English so there is not much work for me to do in the summer since school is out and there is no work in the districts. I am heavily available and will be more than happy to take last minute scheduling if it's an emergency or desperation - go on that date! I will always treat your animals like my own. They will get plenty of loving and I'm expecting some slobbery kisses in return. I don't find much gross in regards to sickness, medical conditions, excitement pees, or simply slobber because I have surely seen it all. I am also very understanding with any rules you have for your pets and will do anything I can to abide by them. But if it means skimping out of treats then that may be a little tough. Your furry friend is of upmost importance when I am with them so I swear to never put them in harms way (ie. sketchy roads, carelessness in and out of the house, pulling on their collar when walking, etc.).

From the very beginning Janet was an absolute sweetheart, meeting me on the porch to grab my little guy, asking pertinent questions to be sure she was doing the best for him and even putting up low wires in her house to keep him from chewing them (puppy) Dash took to her immediately, tail wagging and kisses like she was an old friend of his, since dogs are a good judge of character, I just knew this was going to be a great day for him. About: Experienced in overnight and back-and-forth pet sitting. Can care for puppies to seniors at any hour of the day and night. I am not grossed out by any mess your pet may make and will keep the space clean. Normally work 7-noon 3 days a week. My job is very flexible and could change to suite you and your pets needs! I am very quick with responding if you would need me last minute. My pets that I've had in my home get fed at the same time every day. They are also allowed to go out when they want and get their paws cleaned when they come in. Water is always available to them. About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.

About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. In the future I’m looking to take a dog training course and slow transition into that as a full time job. Every morning I wake up and immediately tend to the dogs and let them outside to use the bathroom and play around, then we come Inside to eat breakfast to start the day. We go outside about 3x daily to potty and play. I have a big privacy fenced in yard for play time. I have 4 dogs of my own. However I typically do not let them converse with my boarding dogs unless known that they are friendly.

Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

“I wish there were an option to leave more than five stars, because Georgia and her dog Wilma went so above and beyond. I had to find a last minute sitter over the holiday weekend, which, without Georgia's responsiveness and flexibility, would have been next to impossible. When I dropped my dog off, I could tell immediately that she was going to have an amazing time. Georgia sent lots of updates while I was away, which was much appreciated. Normally when I pick up my dog after a couple of days away, she's overjoyed to go back home, but this time, she actually seemed bummed to be leaving her new bff Wilma!”
