“I was SO nervous to board our puppy - we had only had her for three weeks and are new dog owners. We had to make a last minute booking and were going to be away for ten days. Well, by the time we went to pick Winnie up we were worried she wouldn't want to come home with us. Mary worked with Winnie on basic commands, slowing down eating, had great suggestions for how to keep her occupied and even got her hooked on her homemade Pup Pops! We got photos, texts and videos every day which made it possible to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that our baby was having a GREAT time at her new Auntie's house. Winnie got some really great socialization under the watchful eye of Mary and her husband. You can tell that they adore dogs and they know each dog's personality and quirks. I know how hard it is to find a safe place for our fur babies when we have to travel. Our pittie mutt, Hank, can’t wait to meet your pups! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

Currently, I am an upcoming senior at Bloomsburg University. I am studying Secondary Education with a concentration in English so there is not much work for me to do in the summer since school is out and there is no work in the districts. I am heavily available and will be more than happy to take last minute scheduling if it's an emergency or desperation - go on that date! I will always treat your animals like my own. They will get plenty of loving and I'm expecting some slobbery kisses in return. I don't find much gross in regards to sickness, medical conditions, excitement pees, or simply slobber because I have surely seen it all. I am also very understanding with any rules you have for your pets and will do anything I can to abide by them. But if it means skimping out of treats then that may be a little tough. Your furry friend is of upmost importance when I am with them so I swear to never put them in harms way (ie. sketchy roads, carelessness in and out of the house, pulling on their collar when walking, etc.).

Lindsay did a great job easing all of my worries. She was accommodating with the Meet & Greet. She was always quick to respond to my texts and would send pictures occasionally. Josie can be quite nervous around new people, but warmed up quickly to Lindsay and her family. My kitty has some medical issues that require meds to mixed in with her food and an inhaler to be administered. Very few people are comfortable giving a cat an inhaler, but Lindsay was quick to learn. I will definitely be contacting Lindsay again next time I travel. I definitely recommend her. 💜”

I love all fur babies like my own! I am currently working full-time at night, 5 nights a week. Available mostly any day prior to 3:30pm. Overnights wouldn’t be possible, but could check on your pups before & after work! I am very well versed with all doggy situations. My current situation is not ideal for a dog to come to my home, but checking on yours in their “safe” environment works best!

About: Experienced in overnight and back-and-forth pet sitting. Can care for puppies to seniors at any hour of the day and night. I am not grossed out by any mess your pet may make and will keep the space clean. Normally work 7-noon 3 days a week. My job is very flexible and could change to suite you and your pets needs! I am very quick with responding if you would need me last minute. My pets that I've had in my home get fed at the same time every day. They are also allowed to go out when they want and get their paws cleaned when they come in. Water is always available to them. You can expect me to do the same with your animals unless told other instructions.

I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

About: I've always taken care of my family pets, and have dog-sat for family friends! I kept up with meds, food, play, and anything else the dogs needed or wanted. Anyone I've asked said that they were more than satisfied with my care. Over the summer, I'll be taking online classes and have a part-time job, so I'll be pretty flexible when it comes to stopping by or walking dogs! About: I have been a dog groomer on and off for the last 12 years. I have gone to school for animal science, and have been around animals my whole life. Including farm animals. I have worked with tiny to extra large dogs, i have also worked with aggressive dogs. I am able to feed early morning and evenings, I can also give medication and deal with any other medical need. I am available to have an animal stay at my house. I live in the Campville area and work in Owego. Im currently a bus driver in Owego. I work several hours in the morning with time in between and then work several hours in the afternoon. I have a beagel/Jack Russell mix and a cat that can help keep your pet company. I do have room if your pet needs to be crated.

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. Many different kinds, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, etc. I will treat your pet with love and kindness. I have a job where I make my own schedule. If you decide to board your pet with me, I will be on premises at all times. For boarding, I have a decent size fenced in back yard. I do have a 7 year old husky that has gone to daycare. He's been around a lot of different dogs. If your dog needs to be crated, I can do that as well. About: Since I was little i have always loved spending time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in 3rd grade and ever since then I have been taking care of dogs. Last December I adopted a puppy and he has been my main priority since. Spending time with dogs is what I believe to be the best way to spend my time! Currently I am a student in highschool and I participate in Track and field. I work at a local golf club, but the schedule is pretty open. I would be open mainly weekends or most weekdays after 5:00 unless I have a track meet. Currently I care for three dogs in my home. Two littles and one very big dog. We have a large yard but we keep our dogs leashes when they go out. Therefore in order to give them exercise we take them on long walks. As a caretaker I would be sure to put your pets safety first as well as any rules you place.
About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.
About: I’ve had dogs most of my life. My current dogs are absolutely spoiled rotten. My girl has epilepsy-so we take extra with her! I also have a boy that is such a sweetheart. I’m soon to be off for the summer, so I will have lots of flexibility to take your pups for a walk! Looking forward to some fun! I don’t plan on caring for animals at my home at this time. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.
