About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, but didn’t truly realize my appreciation for them until high school when I started pet sitting (over ten years ago!) I would watch my friends’ pets when they were on vacation, and felt compelled to make the pets’ stay with me a vacation as well 🐶😊. Since I started watching dogs I always considered them my PIC (partner in crime.). I take them with me on all my adventuress! They meet all my family and friends, and I have even taken a dog on a weekend trip to Block Island (with owners permission of course!) These days, I am home most of the day. I have a small business, which I run out of my home. I am home for majority of the day, but often have to step out for no more than 2 hours at a time. I typically give dogs 2 long walks (30-40 minutes) a day, and take them out in the yard and small walks down the street at least 5 times a day. They get potty breaks every 2-3 hours. I am a VERY active person. I am a marathon runner and avid hiker. No matter what your dog’s activity level is, I will be sure to tucker them out🐶😂. My typical morning and evening walk for dogs is a mile and a half around the reservoir trail in my back yard. I am more than happy to adjust to match your dog’s needs. I live on a small private street. My family and dear neighbors are all nearby. My large yard, close knit community, woods, reservoir trails and loving family truly is a paradise for dogs🐶😊❤️ My schedule varies every day. I can be in and out throughout the day, but never away from home for more than 2-3 hours at a a time. I am typically home for the day by 3pm. Some days I am home all day! It really depends on the week. I live alone and have no pets. I live in a private street with lots of land to explore. I never take dogs off leash when we are outside.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.

About: I’ve taken care of animals ever since I was little. Growing up, I was always around cats. My family always loved them, and we have always had multiple. I would also help take care of them. When I was a little older, we adopted a puppy, and I learned how to care for dogs as well. Now that I am older, I have a cat of my own.
