The house was a nice space and well kept, and the yard was a super nice large space for the boys to rhomp. And their pup and mine got along really well, so that was a bonus that he had a buddy for the week! It was also really nice that I got pictures all week of the boys playing and chilling together. Over time I have started to learn the signs of two dogs who are uncomfortable with each other. I would never leave a dog with another dog that isn’t comfortable. About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

“She did amazing, I will be asking for her service again. When I got home about an hour after she had returned my furbabies from their walk they were excited to see me per usual but not jumping off the wall. I did get a movement alert from our camera facing the driveway, and it was her expertly handling both of my giant furbabies while leaving the house. Usually our younger one tries ripping people's shoulders out but he was walking very pleasantly next to her. She did great I would give 10 stars if it were possible.”

About: I am excited to join Rover because of my compassion for animals and their safety. I have been around animals my entire life and currently run a horse boarding facility and feral cat rescue! The health and safety of your animals is my top priority, and so is treating them with the kindness that I would want my own animals to be treated with. I am comfortable with dogs or all ages, and I am very attentive to puppies and kittens and elderly animals in need of medications or therapies. My hours surrounding my part time job, which is 3 to 4 hours in the afternoon, is very flexible. I am confident I can accommodate nearly every time or day and length of stay. However, I will never allow an animal to free roam or allow the animal to be turned out in a fenced in area that I find unsuitable, regardless of instruction, as I do not want to be responsible for the animal's escape.

About: I have extensive experience caring for homes and animals of all kinds. Animal care is a primary source of joy and income for me. I also teach yoga and love to practice with the animals I stay with. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, fish, reptiles, and am willing to learn more about other animals that need care while you're away. I will add, there is no option to add rates for animals aside from cats and dogs. I have an additional rate for animals in tanks or cages at a rate of $10 per tank/cage per day. “Jenna and her husband were great. They worked around my crazy schedule to get my pup out there, and we're more than accommodating when I asked to pick him up early because I missed him! The house was a nice space and well kept, and the yard was a super nice large space for the boys to rhomp. They were both really friendly and great with my pup, making my feel as ease to leave him with them. And their pup and mine got along really well, so that was a bonus that he had a buddy for the week! It was also really nice that I got pictures all week of the boys playing and chilling together. All around excellent experience, I can't say enough good things to say how pleased I was with everything. I would certainly look Jenna up again to sit for my pup! Thank you!!”
