“This was my first time ever using Rover and I couldn’t be happier. Vanessa was great and took really good care of my dog Jax. I could tell he was very happy when he was there especially when he was playing with Oreo and Moreno!! Vanessa is a great and trustworthy person and definitely will be going thru her again 😊”

“Michelle was great with my Siberian husky mix. She came back safe and sound. We received daily photos which I appreciated even though we were only away for 4 days”

About: For the past six months, I’ve been caring for my own Shih Tzu, and she inspired me to become a pet caregiver. Taking care of her has taught me the importance of patience, love, and responsibility. I have experience with daily walks, feeding, playtime, grooming, administering basic care, and making sure she feels safe, happy, and comfortable. Caring for my dog has shown me how rewarding it is to provide pets with the attention and affection they deserve, and I’m excited to give the same level of care to every dog I look after. I'm currently working part-time. I only work Monday, Thursday, 7 hours and Friday 3 hours, which means that I have a lot of time to dedicate to your pet ❤️ I also have a 6-month-old dog of the Shihtzu breed so your baby will have company 🥰 I have a house with a patio in front of the house with a defense, also a backyard for the kids to play, the backyard has no defense because it connects with the parking lot of the house, they will have daily walks and above all I’ll take them to the park, parks where dogs are allowed all under precautions
“Nilka is everything you hope for when you go on Rover looking for pet care. She treats my dog like her own. Her husband and two kids are also great. They all spoil my dog with love and attention. Nilka is so diligent with walks and photos and communication too. Top recommendation for Nilka and her family. Thank you very much!”

“My dog literally came back home so tired from having fun. He received excellent treatment he had another dog to play with (which was great to wear him out) I was sent multiple pics throughout the day letting me know that Ac was in excellent care. I will use them again and again 🙏🏽”

“I just love the way she cared for my pet Dusty, it was his first time with her and she managed it. In the Beginning he was a little difficult at the end he improved greatly I could see the changes in him at home. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I would consider her again.”

“The experience with Ruth U was dynamic for our fur baby Buddy. I truly appreciated getting videos of his ventures in a warm and loving environment. We will utilize their wonderful services in the future. We gave our tip in person yesterday at drop-off.”

“Alex was great taking care of Max. Helped out with putting us at ease with a new sitter by doing a meet first and was able to watch Max for a few extra hours while our flight back was delayed. He went above and beyond and we’d highly recommend.”

“Heading out of town and I was in a jam - I needed a sitter that lived close by and seemed trustworthy. Worried as I normally have family/friends to watch Danny for me this felt like a BIG ask. Jonisha graciously accepted my request and was very accommodating, even helping my dog through his anxiety as he doesn’t have a great appetite when in different surroundings. Jonisha reached out to me to let me know he hadn’t eaten and tried chicken to entice an appetite which worked! I’m grateful to her and believe Danny had an amazing time as every update he was out in the yard gallivanting with his new pup friends. Communication was easy, and quick Jonisha was great.”

“Sam was great at taking care of our dog. She gave the right amount of updates and was always responsive when we needed to contact her. Our dog seems to have enjoyed her stay, loved the backyard and was always happy in the photos Sam shared. We will definitely try to book Sam again next time we need someone to look at our dog. Definitely recommend.”

“Woody's 1st time with Grace. He was a little shy at first because he's not used to being with other dogs. He eventually got used to it. He was there for 3-4 days. He was sad leaving her. All in all I think he had a great time with her.”

“Vanessa was amazing ! I was away for a week for vacation and she eased my stress about leaving my Sonny. I loved that she works from home and was able to give my dog the attention he needs . She also sent me updates and pictures everyday which helped ease my anxiety. This was my first time leaving my dog with a Sitter and i am beyond pleased. I will definitely be using Vanessa's services in the future ?”

“Dayanara was so helpful and was able to watch our dog, Ginger, for a last minute booking. She sent updates, included photos, throughout each day. It was good to know that Ginger was being cared for while we were away. This was our second booking with her and we hope to use her services again in the future.”

“Shushma and family took excellent care of our fur baby! This was our first experience using this service through Rover and they made us feel completely comfortable. She provided daily updates, pictures and videos which we appreciated. Clean and loving environment. Book her, you won’t be disappointed!”

About: I grew up with cats, actually! While I currently dont have the ability to adopt my own fuzzies again, I do help out with friends who go on vacations and things like that. **I also do bunnies! I was an ARBA registered judge and show rabbit breeder, 4H judge, and 4H instructor and animal trainer.** Pregnant and not allowed to change your kitty's potty? Or maybe youre like my friends and you have to be out of town for a vacation or family meeting, but cant take your fuzzies with you. Some cats do not do well with a boarding kennel situation, so skip the stress and giving them anxiety- hire someone to come check on them at home! Kittens to seniors, all are welcome- even the grumpy ones. Are they on a diet? Do they like tube treats? Even if they made a stinky, I will dump all of the litter out & wash the pan, then put the bag outside in the trash bin so that its not smelling up the house. History: My mother had a long haired tortie before I was born (she tolerated me as much as she was willing from what I was told) and when I was 4, we adopted a creamsicle boy from the neighbors (orange & white tabby). That cat was my best friend for 13 years before I had to say goodbye. We waited a bit, then went to the shelter and adopted a shorthair baby tortie that was really more of my mother's cat (like the previous tortie, although I didnt pick her because of the color). I'd drop in from college and even visit from out of state years later to take care of the tortie while my mother was on vacations. She was a very shy, quiet cat vs my creamsicle who was a big bold boy (he was just a massive cat, not overweight) and even though she knew who I was, I wasnt HER person, therefore my only purpose (to her) was food, water, and litterbox cleaning. Even though I used to play with her when she was younger, I respected her boundaries because in her defense, I *did* move out after the first few years of her life. She lived to be 16. Meanwhile I adopted a little white sock, white blaze, gray tabby girl just after college and had her for only 7 years before her number was called. She was a little purr machine cuddle bug until the day she took her final nap. After the loss of her and my dog, I personally havent had the time or housing requirements to be able to own pets again, so I do what I can to help other busy pet parents!

“Kristen was wonderful! I had a two week vacation and my usual cat sitter had to cancel last minute. I was panicked because I needed someone I could trust since I have an elderly cat and another cat on medication that he needs daily. Kristen was able to accommodate a short notice booking and texted me everyday with updates and pictures. Because of her, I felt at ease when I was away because I knew they were being loved and in good hands. I highly recommend Kristen for boarding.”

“Lisa was great! She was attentive, always sent multiple videos and our ragdoll Louie loved having her over! It made our trip to know he was getting real care and affection while we were away, thank you so much Lisa!!”

“Valeria was amazing staying with my 2 cats when i was away for a weekend! She took great care of them and sent picture updates everyday. She was also so easy to work with and flexible to my schedule - I almost had to cancel and she was able to work it out with me when I found out I didn't have to cancel! Will definitely have her come watch my boys again ☺️”

“Caroline was great ! She followed Milo’s routine perfectly! He was very happy playing with her :) she sent updates photos and videos during the visit. She is kind and great with dogs :) would definitely recommend Caroline 100% . Thank you , Milo looks forward to spending time with you soon :)”

“Azariah did a great job checking in on my dogs while I was away on vacation. I have 3 Yorkies and Azariah provided 2 drop-ins (early morning and evening) per day in which she let the dogs out to use the bathroom in the backyard and feed them. She provide text updates a d pictures. I would certainly book with her again!”

“We are so happy with Juliana’s services. We felt safe and comfortable at all times. She took the greatest of care of all of our cats. We travel often and will absolutely thrilled to have Juliana watch over our babies again. Thank you!”

“Ariella provides excellent cat sitting services. She is 100 percent reliable. She takes time to enjoy each cat- and understands their individual personalities and needs. The cats are very happy when she comes over- even greeting her on the stairs. We have been using Ariella for the past couple of years and will continue to use her. Highly recommend her if you want peace of mind.”
“Minyon us SUPER accommodating. Even with my hectic schedule and several emergencies at once, she understood and gave me grace through every step of the process. When my pups met her, they instantly fell in love with her. She sent videos and pictures every visit and made sure to take them on nice long walks... which my pups love. I would ABSOLUTELY book with Minyon again!”

“it was my first time using an outside Cat Sitter other than family members so I was quite nervous. Carly turned out to be wonderful. She was reliable, super friendly, and my baby took to her immediately I would highly recommend her as I plan on using her for any of my upcoming trips.”

“Michelle was amazing with Milo! This was our first time leaving him with someone else, so I was a little nervous, but she made the whole experience so much easier and more comfortable. She was very attentive, communicative, and clearly experienced with dogs, which gave me a lot of reassurance. I really appreciated the updates and how she made sure Milo felt safe and cared for. When I picked him up, he was happy and relaxed, which means everything to me as a dog mom. It was clear he was in good hands the entire time. The pickup and drop-off process was also smooth and convenient, which I loved. Overall, I had a great experience and would absolutely trust Michelle with Milo again!”

“Vanessa is a gem - responsive, polite, clean, caring, loving, and always available. We were looking for a pet sitter who could provide a loving and stable environment for our pup with separation anxiety, as we wanted to reduce his reliance on medication. Vanessa exceeded our expectations, providing a calm and nurturing presence that has greatly benefited our Blaze. We're grateful to have found her, and her care has given us peace of mind. If you're seeking a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter, Vanessa is an excellent choice.”

“Ingrid was absolutely amazing! She took fantastic care of our golden retriever on Thanksgiving. We received multiple updates with videos and pictures throughout the day and Ingrid was quick to respond as well. Kennedy enjoyed running around in the yard! Highly recommend Ingrid and we will be using her again!”

She was attentive, patient, and communicative. Highly recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a loving and reliable pet sitter!”

“Robin was the BEST! She agreed to do a meet and greet with me and even brought her pups to meet my princess Honey. Even though I felt comfortable with her through our chats, meeting her in person beforehand put the cherry on top. Once booked, she took great care of of my Honey girl, sent so many photos and gave me cute updates while I was at work. This was my first booking and definitely will not be the last. “What a lovely person - I’d give her 100 stars if that were an option. To explain, I had to go into my office LAST minute and at 1230 am it was my first time using this app and I posted requests for someone to basically dog sit for the same day- she was immediately responsive even though it was a last minute request. I saw she had already gotten consistent great reviews and I was worried to leave my 7 week old shih tsu (like a baby) with anyone ) -Jameeka she handles all dog ages - she was responsive, kept me updated throughout the day. I even got stuck in traffic on the way for pick up and was late she was fine. The top 3 reasons I give Jameeka 5 stars is because 1) she is the opposite of stressful and worked with my unique needs, 2) she has great communication skills snd 3) it is clear she is an expert - my puppy was returned perfectly she gave me some updates and my puppy was happy and fell right asleep because Jameeka ensured my puppy got play time and exercise time - thank you !”

“Theresa is amazing - she was a natural with our girl, even though she is strong and suffers from separation anxiety,Theresa was able to calm her down and have a great afternoon ❤️”

“Tyler did an amazing job caring for Crosby. Tyler was very responsive, sent lots of pictures, and updated me throughout the day. Tyler was very attentive to Crosby and his needs, and Crosby had an amazing time spending the day with him. I highly recommend Tyler to care for your pup.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 25 years and currently have two wonderful Goldendoodles, mom and daughter. Dogs staying with me become part of the household, with plenty of attention, affection, playtime and room to run in our fenced yard. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors and high-energy dogs, as well as administering oral and injectable medication. I’m also experienced with training and love keeping dogs active, happy and mentally stimulated. I work on my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend time with the dogs in my care. They get frequent attention, playtime, outdoor breaks and walks depending on their usual routine and energy level. I have a fenced yard and two friendly Goldendoodles, so visiting dogs have plenty of space and great company. Dogs are part of the household and I’m happy to follow their usual routine, including crate training if that’s what they’re used to. I also have a playpen available for puppies or smaller dogs when needed. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness always come first.

“Ariella calmed my anxiety whether she knows it or not! Took care of my nearly 7 month old pup, Alf with confidence and care. Very much look forward for Ariella and Alf to hang out again!”

About: I've taken care of many pets ever since I was a little girl. Always had pets in the house, dogs, cats, even guinea pigs and a mouse. I also used to volunteer as a kid at my camp to work with the animals in the stables like the goats, bunnies, and brushing the horses. As I got older my love for animals never wavered, so I went to high school and I majored in agricultural sciences and spent my first summer there on our land-lab taking care of not only an arrange of animals, but plants as well. I also volunteered at a pet store near my high school caring for stray animals that were brought in, and at one point a bunch of baby kittens, alongside my best friend. I have always loved dogs and cats most and would love to have them as pets again. My family and I started our pet sitting Journey when we used to live out in Florida, it's been almost 2 years now, since moving back to New York City . We have gotten the chance to sit many furry four legged friends, and now I have two of our own. We would still love the opportunity to continue to caring for other's pets as well. My kids and I used to feed and give love to some of the strays we'd see in our neighborhood, back in Florida( unofficial cat lady lol 😅 ). We cannot wait to care for your furry, four legged family member. Home is well air conditioned, space to accommodate a crate if you have, and will be able to give walks around area, or nearby park. You can rest assured your pet will get lots of love and attention, as my children LOVE animals as much as I do, and jump to the opportunity to assist me with them I'm currently working part-time, so I am usually able to give walks in the morning, and in the evening after 6:00 p.m. However, on my days off, I can give walks at least three times a day. I would be able to work out a schedule that might be accommodating for the both of us. I would prefer to have them dropped off during the evening's, after 7pm. We adopted a Maltese/ Silky terrier mix dog(female), and a Chihuahua/ Terry mix dog (male). I use our bedrooms (mine and the kids) to place them in, to accommodate while the other dog is out. Or, we can use the backyard or crate.

“Dayanara Has been a lifesaver this week. My dog is huge and can appear to be intimidating. Dayanara was able to see past her size and focus in on her sweet personality. I have a recommend her services. Additionally, she offers walking tips and sends pictures which make memories for my family.”

“Jane was not only wonderful with our dogs, but proved extremely reliable during an extended weekend where we were out of town and all of our discussed plans were disrupted by the unforeseen—storms, road closures, etc. She provided clear and timely communication in dealing with changes, and we quickly felt comfortable trusting her best judgment to both attend to and care for our two dogs.”

About: With a genuine love for all animals, I've been caring for furry friends for over three years professionally here in the US. Back in Italy, my experience stems from caring for my own dogs, creating a deep understanding of the bond between pets and their owners. My services include feedings, baths, regular walks, and extra attention for senior dogs. Additionally, I have hands-on experience with senior dogs, providing them the extra attention they need, such as assistance with walking and more frequent potty breaks. Your furry friend isn't just another job for me; it's an opportunity to make sure they feel cherished, secure, and content. As I ease back into the workplace, my schedule is open and flexible, allowing ample time to prioritize and care for your pets daily. Your furry friends are a top priority in my routine, receiving not just attention but genuine companionship. Unfortunately, I can't board pets in my home, but I offer dedicated in-home sitting services. I prioritize your pet's well-being by maintaining their familiar routine, creating a safe and comfortable environment. I ensure their needs are met, from feeding and playtime to adhering to any specific requirements. Your pets can enjoy the coziness of their own space while receiving the care, attention, and respect they deserve.

Definitely recommend.”
