She sent updates and photos daily and really seemed invested in how Claude was doing. She also noticed that a winter storm was due and proactively notified us. She topped up his food and water beforehand, and made sure he would be comfortable if she was snowed in for a day. But that wasn’t even necessary, because she came to visit him at 6 am to beat the snow on day one, and on the second day of the storm had her car dug out and came over to complete her visit. About: I have been a in-home pet sitter for the past six years for a medium size dog who had special needs as a puppy. I also am a pet photographer and have done pet portraits and holiday cards! About: Life is better with fur babies !! I have two cats of my own that are literally my babies. I can’t wait to look after yours as if they were my own. I love looking after cats and dogs. Especially high energy dogs that are up for a good walk! I’m currently working part time so I am available all week. The best time is weekends and evenings during the week. So I have a lot of time to spoil your fur baby! I have a spacious apartment that furbabies can roam freely. Dogs/puppies are always welcomed to bring toys of their own. About: I’ve worked at the Brooklyn zoo and aquarium in Brooklyn as a teen. Then worked my way to volunteering at my local animal shelter. I’ve always had a love for animals. Now I foster dogs and cats till they find their forever homes. Even family and friends ask me to watch their pets on occasion. I’ve done dog walking and boarding for many years now as well and I would love to continue to provide for animals rain or shine. I currently work from home so the most I leave for are some social events here and there or groceries. I have transportation if pick up and drop off is needs as well. I have a gated yard around my apartment. There grass and all the other animals in the building run around and use the property. I provide at least three walks/potty breaks a day, take time to train and reward. I’ve giving medication and baths on request as well.

Because my routine allows for open availability, I am free for weekday walks, daytime check-ins, and dedicated weekend boarding to give your pet constant attention. I love making pets feel secure and comfortable. My background as a kennel attendant means I provide great safety mixed with plenty of daily attention and care.

About: I've taken care of many pets ever since I was a little girl. Always had pets in the house, dogs, cats, even guinea pigs and a mouse. I also used to volunteer as a kid at my camp to work with the animals in the stables like the goats, bunnies, and brushing the horses. As I got older my love for animals never wavered, so I went to high school and I majored in agricultural sciences and spent my first summer there on our land-lab taking care of not only an arrange of animals, but plants as well. I also volunteered at a pet store near my high school caring for stray animals that were brought in, and at one point a bunch of baby kittens, alongside my best friend. I have always loved dogs and cats most and would love to have them as pets again. My family and I started our pet sitting Journey when we used to live out in Florida, it's been almost 2 years now, since moving back to New York City . We have gotten the chance to sit many furry four legged friends, and now I have two of our own. We would still love the opportunity to continue to caring for other's pets as well. My kids and I used to feed and give love to some of the strays we'd see in our neighborhood, back in Florida( unofficial cat lady lol 😅 ). We cannot wait to care for your furry, four legged family member. Home is well air conditioned, space to accommodate a crate if you have, and will be able to give walks around area, or nearby park. You can rest assured your pet will get lots of love and attention, as my children LOVE animals as much as I do, and jump to the opportunity to assist me with them I'm currently working part-time, so I am usually able to give walks in the morning, and in the evening after 6:00 p.m. However, on my days off, I can give walks at least three times a day. I would be able to work out a schedule that might be accommodating for the both of us. I would prefer to have them dropped off during the evening's, after 7pm. We adopted a Maltese/ Silky terrier mix dog(female), and a Chihuahua/ Terry mix dog (male). I use our bedrooms (mine and the kids) to place them in, to accommodate while the other dog is out. Or, we can use the backyard or crate.
About: Animal lover and bestie since before I could walk! My house growing up felt like a zoo with 10 cats, 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, and my older brother's snake. All those personalities shaped my love for every animal! I’m currently in school full-time at the Fashion Institute of Technology! When I’m not in classes, my schedule is pretty clear to fill up with all the fur babies! For clients, I follow their detailed instructions regarding feeding schedules, medication, and any specific needs or routines. If they’re in my home, I have a separate room where I let the newcomer relax for a few hours before slowly introducing them to my friendliest animals first.

I have 7 years experience with animal care such as behavioral health, Species specific environmental requirements, Enrichment, nutrition, and medical care. I am dedicated to my work and providing the best care and animal welfare. I am available middle of the afternoons into the evenings Monday-Friday. I am available all day Saturday-Sunday. I am available for drop in visits and providing walks to animals that would be alone for a long period of time.
