About: In addition to having my own family dog, I grew up taking care of other family & neighbors’ pets. This included regular walks, feeding, and overnight care. I’ve now been doing Rover for the last 6 years, taking care of dozens of dogs and cats, most of which return for recurring care — from drops ins to daycare and week+ long overnight stays. “I am unable to walk my dog due to an injury, and he has pretty high energy so needs long walks to tire him out. She treated my doggie like her own and took him on a very long walk as requested. She even asked if she could bring treats as the "icebreaker" when meeting him and for the walk to distract him, since I told her that he has a high prey drive and will rush/bolt after anything furry that moves. It is obvious that she is very experienced with large dogs who have a lot of energy, and my dog came back very happy and ready for a nap as I had hoped. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, pets are allowed to roam freely in a cozy, familiar home environment — no rows of kenneled dogs here! I’m very selective about the pets I accept. I usually only accept a maximum of 3-4 dogs at once. I meet every new pet before booking, and I usually won’t accept more than one new dog at a time, alongside repeat clients. This ensures that I’m familiar with how all the dogs will interact with each other, with only one new variable, thus avoiding potentially uncomfortable or dangerous situations for your pet. I’m always there to monitor them - dogs are never left alone outdoors. Water is always available, and I work from home so I’m around the majority of the day to keep them happy and safe. What you’ll need to send: Their regular food is the most important thing to send, as dogs can get upset stomach from sudden dietary changes. You can also send their favorite treats, and a favorite toy. If they tend to pull on the leash, a front-latch harness, rubber-tipped prong collar, or gentle leader is appreciated. Bowls, beds, brushes, litter bags etc. are all unnecessary, as I have extras of all these supplies. For puppies, a crate may be necessary, depending on their level of potty training. For Cats: The cats have a comfy lounge downstairs, with food, water, litter boxes, and scratching posts. The dogs are not allowed downstairs, so the cats can get all the space they need from the dogs. The cats are free to move upstairs and downstairs as they prefer. All cats are indoors only. I have a lot of wide, accessible windowsills that they love chilling on to watch birds and squirrels outside, as well as battery-operated and automated toys that they can chase and play with on their own. What you’ll need to send: their regular food (wet and dry) and treats. Cat litter is also appreciated. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I’m home most of the day. I have a spacious home that can accommodate giving multiple animals space, and I can keep animals separated from each other if necessary. I've always loved animals of all kinds, and I currently have my own dog and 3 cats. I can't wait to meet your pet, and I promise to love them and care for them the way every pet deserves to be loved!

“We used Morgan, and actually Rover.com, for the first time. My husband dropped off Laska (our hound mix rescue dog), and noticed that she seemed happy to go with Morgan. For us, this is a big deal because she's been through a lot. When we used the kennel Laska would fight us going in, and would come home stressed out and completely out of it. This was not the case after picking up Laska from Morgan's. Laska was clean, happy, and not stressed out! This was a first for her! Laska did have some separation anxiety, so she chewed her bed up. That was our fault because we forgot to tell Morgan about the routine that we have when we leave the house. As a result, we thought Morgan would tell us that she wouldn't watch Laska again, but to our delight, Morgan said she will take her in the future.”
