“Angela is a gem! I was planning a road trip with my 7.5 year old Norwegian Elkhound, Grayson (med. size) from Terre Haute, Indiana to Clinton, NY to visit family just recently in October of 2025. There were a lot of pieces of the of the puzzle to figure out and I started my internet and calling search in August. I was going to be staying at my mother's Senior apartment complex, celebrating her 87th birthday, but they do not allow visiting/staying dogs. My brother lives nearby but due to teenagers coming and going and having a small dog I needed to find other accommodations for Grayson. I called, emailed and options were few and far between. Some boarding kennels were too expensive or already booked, or had rules that the dog must stay until final pickup. Independent pet/home sitters not on Rover did not return emails. I needed to be able to take Grayson out a couple of times during the trip so that my mom could see Grayson as well as enjoy some of the Clinton fun spots with him while there. I also needed to pick Grayson up for the weekend to visit relatives in Massachusetts, then return him for another pet stay the next week. Angela was literally the last person I reached out to (having never used Rover and was unsure at first to use the service) and she got what I was trying to accomplish! We had seamless communication through Rover for initial Q & A and then had a couple of video chats to confirm that this was a match! The Rover app is similar to Airbnb where communication, reservations, and payment are done over the platform. When it was time for travel, Angela let us know she was ready for us! Grayson stayed with Angela Monday through Friday with a mid-week pick up for an afternoon, then picked up Grayson for the weekend getaway visiting relatives. Then Grayson spent Monday through Wednesday of the next week with Angela. Let me just say Grayson fell in love with Angela and Angela fell in love with Grayson! Angela is very attentive with all the details, and all the things you bring to make your pup comfortable (meds, crate, blankets, etc all was handled with care!) Grayson loved all the walks and attention she gave him! It was fun making the drive from Clinton to Angela's, about a 30 min. drive and her town is so pretty, especially with the fall colors and stopping at the local museum and produce stands was so enjoyable. I felt totally comfortable the whole trip that Grayson was well cared for. Angela went the extra mile with lots of attention, walks, brushing and getting an extra bone when I forgot mine. Without Angela, this road trip would not have happened as I really wanted to bring Grayson and have my mom see him as time marches on and wanted mom to see Grayson before any more time went by. Angela made my dream trip come true! Grayson and I even had a side trip to Niagara Falls and I will remember this trip forever! I plan to do this roundtrip again and will definitely book Angela again! I recommend Angela as an exceptional pet/home sitter! For any travelers out there with itineraries like mine, you will be in great hands with Angela! Thank you, Angela, your care for Grayson totally warmed my heart! “Jenna and her husband were great. They worked around my crazy schedule to get my pup out there, and we're more than accommodating when I asked to pick him up early because I missed him! The house was a nice space and well kept, and the yard was a super nice large space for the boys to rhomp. They were both really friendly and great with my pup, making my feel as ease to leave him with them. And their pup and mine got along really well, so that was a bonus that he had a buddy for the week! It was also really nice that I got pictures all week of the boys playing and chilling together. “We can not rate Christalle and her husband Brek highly enough. From the beginning contact/meet n greet stage they were communicative and helpful, calming all our over-protective doggie-parent nerves. (Jack is nervous with new people but warmed to both of them immediately). They left us feeling tranquil about leaving our most precious love with them. something that has NEVER happened in our 5 years of various boarding/sitting experiences. During Jack's 5 day stay with them they sent us several pictures, several times, of our boy living it up with them! They even donated their own blankets and bedding for him to snuggle in as I forget to bring his bed in my rush to leave for the airport. Playtime and outside fun seemed to be in abundance. Christalle&Brek's apartment has a fenced-in back and front area perfect for dogs to roam. Jack was petted and loved as though he was family, of that I am sure. So much so, that much to my amazement, he didn't want to leave them when I came to pick him up! (and btw they were very understanding about our several-times delayed return flight home). This delightful, truly dog-loving couple exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you guys. We love you!”

She is obviously incredibly knowledgeable about all sorts of dog care and was great at watching both a giant hyperactive puppy and my older more mellow girl who needs regular medications. She sent so many updates and pictures during their stay so I always felt informed and up to date on their day! Ashley was so respectful of my wishes with them and made sure to check with me about treats, bath products, and extra activities. She took my one dog running with her regularly, which he loves, and gave my lazy cuddle bug lots of snuggles and couch time! The dogs clearly got so much love from her entire family and I felt so assured that they were in capable and loving hands! Ashley asked questions when she had them and followed my feeding and medication instructions to a T! She was also so sensitive about making sure both dogs felt comfortable and making sure they were in a safe and secure environment on their terms! This is the first real off leash (fenced in yard) play she's had with a dog closer to her size and she loved it. About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. I am a teacher and I am looking for summer work. I am free every day until late August. I am willing to walk your dog in your neighborhood or board a dog over night. I have a stake in my yard for when my daughter visits with her 35 lb. Dog. Previous bigger dogs were walked on a leash at all times. I usually walk my dogs 1-2x daily for up to a 1/2 hour.

About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: For many years, I aided my aunt who owns her own dog grooming salon, keeping the dogs occupied and bathing them! I have also taken care of many friends and family members dogs, even cats! I had two dogs, two Guinea pigs, and recently just adopted a cat! I volunteer weekly at a bunny farm cleaning their cages and spending time with them. I enjoy all animals and being a difference in their lives! I currently have a full time job, typically work week hours, with some overtime so I will need to work around that! Available weekends and late night!! I have a park nearby and am familiar with safe areas for dog walking! I think it is important to listen to the client and will do everything I can to ensure your pets safety and help you feel at ease knowing they are in good hands! Every client is different and I respect each and every boundary.

About: Schedule-Monday through Friday 6-2:30 I work and weekends off 🫠😁Animals have always been a part of my life growing up. Some of my family has a farm which I got to experience and learn from. I would walk a dog named Molly. She belonged to an older person who struggled with it. All 4 years of high school I was responsible for her grooming, as well as making sure she had plenty of extra love. I truly enjoyed the trust of this pet parent, and Molly that I gained from this time. I wish to continue that commitment now with the pet parents I will be able to meet on here. I have flexible hours with my job. If I am unable to be home my girlfriend is there all through the week. She only works weekends as a traveling vet assistant. On those days I am home to reach our animals and your pets needs. They will always be given attention and love. I have a fenced in back yard and two dogs of my own who are trained and help me train other dogs. Both are working emotional support dogs, as we understand they need a purpose to feel a part of the pack. Our house is big enough that no animals have to be together at any point. If this makes pet owners more comfortable and would like there pets separated to enjoy some alone time.
About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.
About: I know how hard it can be to find reliable and trustworthy pet care. I will always be intentional with the care I provide and will never hesitate to go above and beyond as I would want for my pets. I work Monday through Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm. I am fully available all other days and am happy to stay at your house on the days I go to work as well. I have a large fenced in yard that is empty minus a secured shed. We also have a mostly empty dining room for extra space and we allow all pets on all furniture.

About: I have never taken care of pets professionally, but I have had pets in my house since I was a baby. My first pet was a rabbit. I have had dogs, cats, fish, mice, hamster and a rat. I currently have a dog and 2 cats that are rescues. I am a stay at home mom. My daughter is in Pre-K and is home Tuesday and Thursday, so she comes with me on Rover jobs. “Angela is a gem! I was planning a road trip with my 7.5 year old Norwegian Elkhound, Grayson (med. size) from Terre Haute, Indiana to Clinton, NY to visit family just recently in October of 2025. There were a lot of pieces of the of the puzzle to figure out and I started my internet and calling search in August. I was going to be staying at my mother's Senior apartment complex, celebrating her 87th birthday, but they do not allow visiting/staying dogs. My brother lives nearby but due to teenagers coming and going and having a small dog I needed to find other accommodations for Grayson. I called, emailed and options were few and far between. Some boarding kennels were too expensive or already booked, or had rules that the dog must stay until final pickup. Independent pet/home sitters not on Rover did not return emails. I needed to be able to take Grayson out a couple of times during the trip so that my mom could see Grayson as well as enjoy some of the Clinton fun spots with him while there. I also needed to pick Grayson up for the weekend to visit relatives in Massachusetts, then return him for another pet stay the next week. Angela was literally the last person I reached out to (having never used Rover and was unsure at first to use the service) and she got what I was trying to accomplish! We had seamless communication through Rover for initial Q & A and then had a couple of video chats to confirm that this was a match! The Rover app is similar to Airbnb where communication, reservations, and payment are done over the platform. When it was time for travel, Angela let us know she was ready for us! Grayson stayed with Angela Monday through Friday with a mid-week pick up for an afternoon, then picked up Grayson for the weekend getaway visiting relatives. Then Grayson spent Monday through Wednesday of the next week with Angela. Let me just say Grayson fell in love with Angela and Angela fell in love with Grayson! Angela is very attentive with all the details, and all the things you bring to make your pup comfortable (meds, crate, blankets, etc all was handled with care!) Grayson loved all the walks and attention she gave him! It was fun making the drive from Clinton to Angela's, about a 30 min. drive and her town is so pretty, especially with the fall colors and stopping at the local museum and produce stands was so enjoyable. I felt totally comfortable the whole trip that Grayson was well cared for. Angela went the extra mile with lots of attention, walks, brushing and getting an extra bone when I forgot mine. Without Angela, this road trip would not have happened as I really wanted to bring Grayson and have my mom see him as time marches on and wanted mom to see Grayson before any more time went by. Angela made my dream trip come true! Grayson and I even had a side trip to Niagara Falls and I will remember this trip forever! I plan to do this roundtrip again and will definitely book Angela again! I recommend Angela as an exceptional pet/home sitter! For any travelers out there with itineraries like mine, you will be in great hands with Angela! Thank you, Angela, your care for Grayson totally warmed my heart! “Jenna and her husband were great. They worked around my crazy schedule to get my pup out there, and we're more than accommodating when I asked to pick him up early because I missed him! The house was a nice space and well kept, and the yard was a super nice large space for the boys to rhomp. They were both really friendly and great with my pup, making my feel as ease to leave him with them. And their pup and mine got along really well, so that was a bonus that he had a buddy for the week! It was also really nice that I got pictures all week of the boys playing and chilling together. “Ashley was absolutely wonderful in watching my two pups! She is obviously incredibly knowledgeable about all sorts of dog care and was great at watching both a giant hyperactive puppy and my older more mellow girl who needs regular medications. She sent so many updates and pictures during their stay so I always felt informed and up to date on their day! Ashley was so respectful of my wishes with them and made sure to check with me about treats, bath products, and extra activities. She took my one dog running with her regularly, which he loves, and gave my lazy cuddle bug lots of snuggles and couch time! The dogs clearly got so much love from her entire family and I felt so assured that they were in capable and loving hands! Ashley asked questions when she had them and followed my feeding and medication instructions to a T! She was also so sensitive about making sure both dogs felt comfortable and making sure they were in a safe and secure environment on their terms! Both my pups were so happy looking in all their pics and were excited on pick up-I could tell they had a great time! I’m no stranger to dog sitters and doggie daycare and honestly, Ashley is one of the best I’ve found so far and I can’t wait for my pack to spend time with Ashley and her wonderful family again!
