I can handle large, medium, and small dogs and will look to give them long walks and lots of exercise as a good dog is a tired dog. About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.
About: I grew up with two dogs who were my best friends. I have been steadily watching my sister’s beautiful dog Albert and her new puppy Janice for 3 years. Those days are the best days - i walk them, feed them their meals and required medicine, and always make sure they have loads of attention and pets! I work remotely and my schedule is very flexible, so I can cater to your individualized needs! I travel sometimes on weekends, but with enough notice, I will lock your dog sitting needs into my schedule and always show up in a timely fashion! I always keep an eye on the pets I am watching when out in the yard, even if the space is enclosed - I watch for other animals, etc to always ensure your pet’s safety. I have gone on many a walk with medium to large dogs and always make sure their leash is within 6-8 feet and they are secure within their harness.

Fun Fact my dog at home is scared of thunder, so I always sit in the bathtub with him until he’s ready to come out (photo included) I’ve also babysat and house sat for many years :) I have maximum 2 one hour classes a day with a 3 hour gap in between! About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: Hi, I'm Marceline! Growing up with a wildlife rehabilitator for a parent, I was surrounded by animals from day one. From bottle-feeding baby raccoons to gently caring for injured birds, I learned early on the patience, empathy, and responsibility that animals deserve. That lifelong passion turned into a career of caring: I spent 4 years at a cat shelter, helping to socialize, medicate and find loving homes for many cats. Beyond that, I've volunteered extensively at Farm sanctuaries and animal shelters, gaining hands-on experience with dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, and more! About: I have had pets my whole life and hold animals dear to my heart! I LOVE spending time with them and making them happy. I have cared for dogs and cats for years and am very patient with them. I have a fenced in yard. I would prefer to avoid bringing clients pets into my home because I have 2 cats. But if the dog is friendly enough and has experience with cats I would consider it. My house is fairly big. It has a basement and attic, with 2 floors they’d have room to run and play. I have a medium sized yard so there would be room for them to run and play. I also have a safe street to bring them on walks. I pet sit full time. I’m looking to gain more clients so please book me. About: I’ve taken care of animals for over 15 years. I pet sat many times as a child and continued through adulthood including, walking, feeding, administering medicine, baths & snuggles! I also volunteered at a local animal shelter as a dog walker. Currently 3 cats and a rambunctious German Shepard/Siberian Husky 3 years old. I have cared for all kinds of pets including but not limited to goats, chickens, horses, pigs, donkeys etc I’m currently working full time but have a very flexible schedule and can move my hours around to meet your needs especially for early morning and later evening check ins or during work hours! I have worked with leash trained and non leash trained dogs if you have a fenced in yard. I prefer leash trained dogs for public walks with a standard leash. About: I was raised in a positive pet friendly family environment and had my own dogs and cats for more than twenty years. I can handle large, medium, and small dogs and will look to give them long walks and lots of exercise as a good dog is a tired dog. I work full-time but have plenty of free time during the week and on weekends to feed, walk, play fetch, or just hang out with your dog. I am happy to come to your home and walk your dog and or play at a local dog park, I am familiar with dogs from Yorkshire Terriers and Kings Charles Spaniels to Rottweilers and German Shepards.

She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess.
