About: I take pride in my work and strive to treat each and every animal I care for as I would my own personal pets. I personally understand how difficult it can be to trust someone with your furry family members and do my best to make the experience as amazing as possible for both pets and pet parents. I have worked in the pet care industry for over ten years now. I began dog walking in NYC, then managed a luxury boarding/daycare facility for dogs in East Syracuse. Since then I have also branched out into working in animal rescue as well. I also am currently pursuing a certification in dog training. I currently work for myself so my hours are flexible. I can accommodate dog walking most mornings, afternoons and nights. I currently offer in home boarding but limit it to three dogs per night to ensure the best quality of care. I understand that allowing someone into your home to care for your pet can be nerve racking, so I strive to be as mindful of this as possible. Some of the ways I ensure I do this are by speaking with the client before hand to go over anything specific they need done, entering the home in a safe and respectful manner, greeting the pet I'm caring for with enthusiasm, creating a bond with them & making the experience as fun and stress free as possible.
“Alexis was great with our Archie! She was attentive to his needs, gave him lots of love and nice long walks, which he loves! She also sent us pictures throughout the day. We’ll ,without a doubt, book with her again in the future!”

“Daniel & his wife were amazing! I was worried that my 15 year old Shit-Zu Yorkie mix would not adjust very well. She does not do well with new people or environments, but she felt very comfortable and at ease. She had a great stay. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much!!!”

“Chester was absolutely fabulous when we had him watch Rocco, our 100lb Catahoula Leopard Dog. My father passed way in a different state so we were trying to find someone to watch Rocco either in our home or theirs so we could attend services. He was a rescue a year ago and didn’t want to put him in a kennel or place where he would think he was being abandoned. After reading that Chester not only boards dogs in his home, but has a large property for long walks and a fenced in area for play, I felt confident contacting him. Chester was able to accommodate our last minute request and had a meet and greet that same day. Rocco met the other dog he was boarding at the time and being Rocco loves other dogs, he was excited to be there which made me feel even better. Having access to other rooms, I one this was the place for him. While away, Chester sent us pictures, videos, and a brief summary every day to let us know how Rocco was doing. We saw Rocco getting walks, playing with the other dogs, getting treats, playing with toys, and just relaxing. That put us at ease knowing Chester treated him like his own. I would definitely recommend Chester and we will definitely have Rocco there again one day.”

“Kelly took such great care of my pup, Raleigh. She spent just over a week with Kelly and her dog Oscar. Kelly sent photos and video updates as the week went on. I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay with Kelly, and I know Raleigh can't wait to stay with them again!”

“I really appreciate how wonderful Sandra is with my Bella! I love that she sends pictures and updates. It's nice to able to relax while we're away because we know our doggy is safe and well cared for.”

“First time using Rover and couldn’t be happier. Andrea keep us updated through out the trip and when we picked him up he couldnt seem happier. Highly suggest you book with Andrea for your dog sitting needs.”

“Megen was great, our dog came back very happy! Megen's pets were great play friends and she communicated well while we were away. Megen was also very flexible with drop off and pick up which we really appreciated.”

“Quick responses and loved the pics sent. Great communication! Dom seemed to have a wonderful time, thank you so much! I would be grateful to bring Dom back again in the future.”

“Jake and Mischa were our last-minute life savers! When our plans fell through for our dog sitters for our wedding, they stepped in! What an AMAZING pair they are. They daily pictures throughout the day of River and Maverick and made sure we were at ease. They were in amazing hands! Even better—they offered a drop off and pick up service. Id rate them One million stars if I could! Repeat customers for sure!”

“So accommodating and friendly. This was our first time boarding, and pretty instantly we knew our pup was in good hands! The pictures were so appreciated, and we’re incredibly grateful for the care our dog was given.”

“This was our first time using Rover.com for our dog Macy. Jane was very sensitive to Macy's needs and the message updates and photos were reassuring. Jane said Macy was welcome back anytime and I look forward to booking future stays with Jane.”

“Francesca and John were wonderful! Buddy did very well during his stay. This was his first time ever boarding and I was nervous about how he would do since he is an older dog. They kept me updated all the time and assured me he was relaxed and not anxious. So glad we found them!”

“Pepper had a good time with Amy and her family. Amy is very easy to communicate with and she sent updates with pictures/video. We will definitely schedule a play date with Amy in the next couple of weeks.”

“Sara was wonderful. Our first time using a dog sitter and I was anxious about the experience. Would the boys behave, or would the sitter really give them attention? Well yes and definitely yes. The experience was great for us and the doggos. Our dogs are a large breed and a giant breed. Sara didn't have any qualms about their sizes and we were able to relax and enjoy a weekend away. Would absolutely use Sara's services again. Highly recommend.”

“This was the 2nd time Paula watched our home & cats. Did a great job, home was left clean and secure. She is a professional and dedicated to the services she provides. Highly recommend.”

“Lillie was responsive and friendly. My cats were not. But she gave great feedback and tried to get my antisocial babies to engage. Very reliable. I would 100% engage her again.”

“Madelyn was wonderful and took great care of my fur baby even when my driveway was covered in snow and also helped us out over Christmas! Our cat is a needy boy and usually complains a lot when we leave but he didn’t seem to mind this time. Would definitely recommend!”

I also have a sweet, Boxer-mix Zoe (50 lbs), and a Sato from Puerto Rico named Ellie (15 lbs), who love their foster siblings, and boarding mates & love to play, cuddle, and bring them out of their shell, especially little dogs. I have a few years of experience with rescue dogs, including puppy mill dogs, and street rescues, because of that I'm very confident working with shy, nervous dogs that need a little more TLC. In my personal time, I work as the social media coordinator for a dog rescue, and walk dogs for a friend's dog company.
“Quick reply, prompt visit, really good photos. When I got back, everything was in its right place and clean and fair. My dog seemed very happy as well. What more can I ask for? Also she did a tick check, which I didn't even think about for a quick walk. Very much appreciated. Thank you.”

“Kamber took incredible care of our two kitty cats on very short notice! She was very communicative, fast to respond, and empathetic to our fur babies. I would absolutely book her quality services again!”

I’m not just a sitter, i’m an emotional support human & a dependable companion for your pet while you’re away. I believe in consistent communication, lots of love, and making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for. I love & care for them as if they were my own. I’m experienced with administering medications, sticking to routines, and keeping pets calm and comfortable in their own environment. Your comfort, peace of mind, & your pet’s happiness are my top priority!

About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.
“Elisha is quiet & calm, and gentle with Bo. She was reliable and took good care of Bo when we booked the first time. We look forward to her caring for him again this summer! Thank you!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life—whether it’s been my own pets, helping out friends, or rescuing strays in need. Both of my cats were rescued by me, and I’ve always had a natural connection with animals. They’re drawn to me, and I love giving them the same trust and affection they show me. I grew up with big dogs, including two pit bulls and a boxer, so I’m confident and comfortable handling larger breeds. Over the years, I’ve potty trained dogs, taught tricks, and cared for pets with all kinds of temperaments. My experience goes beyond cats and dogs—I’ve also cared for frogs, snakes, turtles, and even had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with elephants in Thailand. My love for animals runs so deep that I’ve been vegan for over a decade. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s truly part of who I am. What I Offer 🐾 A 100% open and flexible schedule—your pets will always get the time, love, and attention they deserve. 🐾 Experience with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and special needs. 🐾 Patience, playfulness, and genuine compassion for every pet I meet. Whether it’s cuddles, walks, playtime, or extra TLC, I’ll treat your fur babies like they’re my own. I have a completely open and flexible schedule, available any day and time. Since I mostly work from home, I can easily accommodate bookings, cancellations, last-minute changes, and special requests. The only exception is occasional weekend evenings after 5 PM, when I work at The Colony in Woodstock. Other than that, I’m always here for you and your pets! I live in a spacious three-bedroom, 2 story home with a large open yard, perfect for pets to play and explore. Your furry friend will have plenty of room to stretch, run, and enjoy the outdoors while getting all the exercise and fresh air they need to stay happy and healthy.

“I loved the daycare for our dog (LOVE). Sandra and her husband took very good care of her and treated her like their own and made her feel like home the whole entire time there. I was at ease knowing she was in good hands and loved that they have been in touch the whole time sending photos and videos of her at all times. She looked so happy and not crying like she usually does away from us, I would 100% recommend them both. I truly say they both are to trust and are great dog people to all because of how they were with mine. I will definitely be booking with them again for sure ! thank you again for everything 😌 very satisfied !”

“If I could give Dawn 100 stars I would!! She was AMAZING taking care of my little Yeti. She was communicating and sending beautiful pictures of him all day. He never eats at strange locations, and he even ate with her. She has a sixth sense for animals!! I'd recommend her everyday.”

“Absolutely wonderful person and my pup LOVES her! He is a fairly big dog (German Shepard) and she was great with him. He has a very nice space to run around and play, and I can tell by his excitement and body language that he feels comfortable there. 10/10 would book again!”

“Jayne was an exceptional puppy sitter. She treated and loved Daisy as if she were her own. She sent photos to help pass the time and was overly accommodating. I will most definitely bring Daisy back for another visit soon. Thank you!”

“Emily and Andre took care of our 5-month old puppy so well! They knew it was our first time leaving her anywhere and they eased our minds by keeping us up to date and sending lots of photos of her! They were fantastic”

“Chaqutia took great care of our Labradoodle! She sent me pictures and updates throughout the stay, which really put my mind at ease. I was a little nervous about leaving my pet in a new home, but everything went perfectly. Knowing our dog was in good hands allowed me to relax and enjoy my birthday with my family. Thanks so much, Chaqutia!”
“It was my first time leaving my baby with anyone. Amy was very pleasant and my pup loved her the moment she came to greet him. He went crazy with her family and her own pups. I picked up a calm dog which is never the case with my baby, hes always extra excited to see me, so that means he was OK, he had fun and wasn't nervous/concerned while in her care which was a huge relieve for me. Looks like he had a good time there. Highly recommend.”

“David was wonderful and very loving to my pet dog Patches. He was kind and calm and Patches took to him immediately. My pet usually doesn’t want to eat with sitters but David got him to eat no problem. I would highly recommend him!!!! Thank you David!!”

“We left our lab with Sara for half a day so we could attend a nearby wedding, and she was so great with him! He's super energetic, and she was so patient with him and took him on long walks and played with him! She was also so helpfully flexible about the pickup time, because we couldn't really pinpoint it in advance. Would definitely go back if we're in the area!”

“At first, I struggled with the thought of leaving my grand dog (Zyla is my daughter’s dog), because Zyla really is treated like a family member and Zyla is our everything but Monica was wonderful. Monica sent multiple photos throughout the day which reassured us that Zyla was ok. From the photos I could tell that Zyla was having a blast. Zyla made a new furry friend and two human friends. Monica not only sent me photos but updated me throughout the day on Zyla’s activities which eased my worry as well. I can tell Zyla had the time of her life because she fell fast asleep on her ride home. Monica made Zyla’s first doggy daycare experience wonderful for both Zyla and her owners. I am definitely scheduling more future dates with Monica for both doggie daycare and boarding.”

About: Originally from upstate NY, I spent time working as a professional veterinary assistant in Atlanta, GA while in school. In this role, I worked directly under a veterinarian to monitor, clean, and provide medical check-ups for dogs at local pet centers, while also providing care for other animals at a boarding and daycare resort. With this hands-on experience, I am deeply familiar with dog health, sanitization, and administering medications. I enjoy spending time with dogs, understand how to spot early signs of illness, and know how to keep dogs on a fun and healthy routine. Since moving back to upstate NY, I do part-time work as a tech consultant from home. This allows me to give plenty of attention to your pet, while also providing plenty of outdoor activities. My wife also works from home, which allows her the flexibility to help as well. Our house is situated right next to the D&H Canal trail, and we take regular walks on a daily basis.Whether your dog is a growing puppy who needs attentive care or an older dog who requires a reliable, experienced handler, my top priority is maintaining their health, safety, and happiness while you are away. My wife and I both work part-time from home, which gives us highly flexible schedules to prioritize your pet's care throughout the week. Our daily routine naturally includes multiple walks along the scenic D&H Canal trail, which directly borders our property. Because our work keeps us at home, guest pets enjoy consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of playful companionship. Our home sits far back from the road at the end of a long driveway, offering a very quiet, safe environment. We sit on 10 acres of land, featuring 3 groomed acres for supervised play and 7 acres of private woods. While our yard is only partially fenced, we have two large, fully enclosed decks that are completely fenced in—perfect for safe sunbathing, lounging, and secure outdoor activities. We also utilize a collapsible fence that we can pull out and set up to create customized secure boundaries if necessary. For exercise, dogs are strictly supervised and kept on-leash as we head down the driveway to our private access point for the D&H Canal trail, keeping them completely away from traffic.
“Hila hosted Millie for a day and Millie had a great time. We are so happy Hila was available. Hila was also communicative and flexible with us. Millie Enjoyed playing with Hila’s dog Ruby too.”

About: I have 15+ years of experience boarding and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities, providing a safe and loving environment for dogs has been a part of my life for many years. My family has a long history of boarding and breeding hunting dogs through established bloodlines in Scotland, giving me experience with dogs and their individual personalities from an early age. I intentionally board no more than three guest dogs at a time. Keeping our guest list small allows me to provide personalized attention and gives each dog the opportunity to settle into our home and become part of the family during their stay. 🏡 A true home-away-from-home: I don't routinely use cages or kennels. Our guests are welcome to freely roam and enjoy the home just like our own resident dog, Benji does. If your dog is crate-trained and you prefer that their normal crate routine be maintained, we're happy to accommodate that as well. 🐾Room to explore: My home sits on two acres with a beautiful pond, and walking trails offering plenty of interesting sights and smells for supervised outdoor adventures and potty breaks. 🌳Right on the Heritage Trail: I am fortunate to be located directly along the Heritage Trail, making it easy to incorporate leashed walks, fresh air, exercise, and plenty of sniffing into our guests' stays. 🐶 All shapes, sizes & personalities welcome: From little pups to gentle giants, energetic personalities to professional couch loungers, we understand that every dog is different. I do take the time to learn your dog's routine, personality, preferences, and comfort level. 📸 You'll receive photos and updates throughout your dog's stay, so you can see how they're doing and enjoy your time away with peace of mind. 🚗 Transportation is also available for an additional fee, depending on location, and I am happy to accommodate extended stays of 7+ nights. My goal is simple: provide a warm, comfortable place where your dog can enjoy their own little vacation while you're enjoying yours. Rest assured, during your pups stay they will be only with a familiar face, Benji the house resident and myself :)❤️🐾 Pet care is a natural part of our everyday routine. Because I welcome a maximum of only three guest dogs at a time, I'm able to give each pup plenty of individual attention throughout the day. Our guests enjoy regular leashed walks and potty breaks, including walks along the beautiful Heritage Trail located right by our home. There is plenty of time for play, exploring, naps, cuddles, and simply relaxing with us around the house. I do my best to maintain each dog's normal feeding, sleeping, walking, and medication schedule so their stay feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I also welcome extended stays of 7+ nights and offer transportation for an additional fee when needed. My home is located on two beautiful acres with a pond and direct access to the Heritage Trail, giving your dog plenty of opportunities for supervised outdoor time, adventurous sniffs, and leashed walks. Inside, I provide a cage-free, home-style environment. Guest dogs have free roam of my home and are treated like part of the family rather than being kept in kennels. I will use a crate if an owner requests it because that is what their dog is accustomed to at home. I accept dogs of all sizes and personalities and take time to learn about each dog’s temperament, routine, habits, and individual needs before their stay. I limit boarding to a maximum of three guest dogs at a time so I can provide close supervision and personalized attention. With more than 15 years of dog-boarding and care experience, creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment is always my priority. Owners also receive regular photos and updates while they’re away. I encourage clients parents to check in whenever they would like - even a facetime here and there would be nice!
“Alexis is THE BEST. She always comes through last minute and our dog Omelette loves her. I trust her completely with my girl and would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Alexis!”

“I'm so lucky to have Kamber as Bernie's dog walker! She's always on time and reliable, and she leaves my house neat and tidy. Bernie adores spending time with her and loves when her daughter comes along for extra playtime. Kamber is fantastic at taking care of Bernie. She's super careful and always looks for potential dangers, like other dogs or cars. Plus, she's been helping me train Bernie to be more comfortable around other pups when we're out for walks. I can't say enough good things about Kamber's communication skills. She's excellent at keeping me updated on everything with Bernie and is always on top of scheduling our appointments. I trust her completely and am happy to have her as our dog walker!”

About: I have experience with many different dog breeds with different energy and health needs. I give all of the animals under my care the same treatment. I would take care of a super senior cat with the same dedication I would a golden retriever puppy. I'm not squeamish at all either, I'm comfortable dealing with body fluids and administering injection and medications. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters so i've seen it all! Currently, my only commitments are helping to babysit younger family members, which is flexible schedule and only part-time. I have lots of time to not only take care of your animals, but also play with them and give them good entertainment My own dog is a runner, so I am hypervigilant about making sure animals don't dart out doors. I always make sure I physically see the animal and watch them to make sure they look healthy and happy, I don't just leave food and water and go home. I can come in at a time convenient for you and respond to the needs of your dog. I can also care for cats as well. If needed, when I stop in, I can also bathe dogs if needed by the owner. I want to do all I can so that your beautiful animals are happy, safe, well fed and comfortable. I can provide exercise for high energy dogs as well. I want to do all I can for you, the owner, and your precious pet. Please consider me for your pets needs to be met. Thank you.

“Kalyna, did an amazing job with bishop while I was away for the holidays. She is reliable and great with dogs. If you haven’t booked her yet. You need to stop thinking and BOOK HER NOW!!”

About: From overnight stays and walks to playtime and cuddles, family and friends have entrusted me with the care of their fur baby. Being able to work with cats and dogs on a daily basis as a veterinary assistant continues to help me accumulate various skills to work with animals of all temperaments and ages! I’m currently working part time so I’d have flexible time to spend with your precious pups whether during the week or during the weekend ! Pups are off if their routine is off so if you have a specific schedule or way of doing things I can assure you I will stick to the game plan.
About: I've loved them all. From guinea pigs to rabbits, hamsters and ferrets, parrots and fish, cats and dogs. I have experience with dogs of many breeds, from German shepherds to Chihuahuas, newfoundlands and jack russells. I try and understand every dog breed to understand their unique needs. No dog is the same! But they all love unconditionally, so I try and give them the same. I have some training in puppies and have experience with puppies as well as elders. I've house sat in the pets homes where I know they are comfortable and can have their routines and environments. I just want to give each pet whatever it is they need. I have had pets since I was born, my first dog being a boxer. Almost never without a dog, but certainly never without a pet. Currently I have a german shepherd/collie mix named Blue. Even at six years old, he has the energy of a puppy! We run every day in a field nearby, sometimes visit the dog park, and have frequent visits with his dog friends. Making sure he is happy and healthy is a daily priority in my life. In the clients home, I get in depth information on their pets routines, food schedules and preparations, walking and play time, and whether they are crated or not. I will follow your instructions to a T.

“Alexis was great with our Archie! She was attentive to his needs, gave him lots of love and nice long walks, which he loves! She also sent us pictures throughout the day. We’ll ,without a doubt, book with her again in the future!”

“Mr Rufus stays with Christina every time we have to go somewhere where we can’t take Rufus with us.Rufus is diabetic and we wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of his special needs. Paws down the best”
“Sheila is a lovely person who you can tell genuinely cares about animals. My two guys came home tired from all the playing with Sheila's pups which is a good thing. Thank you for all of the communication, videos and photos.”

“Beckie and her family were the perfect home away from home for our high-energy 2yo German Shepherd. She has a beautiful and massive back yard and provided photo updates throughout the stay. We’ll happily trust Beckie with Echo on future trips and highly recommend her!”

“Kevin is an amazing human being and 5 stars does not serve him any justice. If I can give him 10 stars I would. He took really good care of my dog and sent me pictures throughout my trip without even having to ask. My return flight got delayed by 8 hours and I thought I was not going to make it back in time. Kevin assured me that everything was going to be okay. I highly, highly, highly recommend him if you need a dog sitter.”

“David was great with my 2 big German Shepards. He listened to my concerned and was very attentive. I got updates thru the night along with photos and my dogs seemed genuinely happy. Definitely will be using again and recommend 100%.”

“Matt did a great job watching my brindle mix. His dog charlie was welcoming and became fast friends with my pup. Communication was great and updates during the stay left me knowing everything was going well and without any worries”

“It was my first time boarding Leo and can’t be thankful enough to Alexis. She was super easygoing and reassuring that Leo was ok. I’ll certainly recommend Alexis! Her yard is great for dogs to run and play freely.”
“This is the 2nd time Emily and Andre have dog-sat my good boy Leo for me and both times they have done a wonderful job!! They always send many many pictures and he always looks to be having a good time. Highly recommended!!”

“Cici was wonderful with Ruby! I had another rover fall through and Cici worker with me to find a solution. We were able to have a very slow and steady meet and greet. It gave Ruby a ton of confidence for the stay. All the updates about how my pup was fitting in with her family were great. She handled the pup well. Would highly recommend”
