And our high maintenance older pointer mix is just as peaceful as ever, his respiratory issue was taken care of well and that's a lot to keep up with. I can't say enough how much my wife and I appreciate the care they gave them. The fenced in yard with a good wood pile, walks, and pictures gave us peace of mind the whole time. We will book again with them anytime we need to and they're available.”

About: I have had a dog my entire life. Many in different shapes and sizes. My last fur baby was my baby before babies and I have experience with obedience training and good citizen training. “Jennifer's place was a haven for dogs who love to have easy access to the outdoors. My dog Kodi is 13 and now has some digestive challenges now. He's pretty cranky for a 9-pound ball of fluff and Jennifer kept him happy and exercised with multiple walks per day and lots of chances to explore outside. Kodi can be avoidant or sometimes fearful of larger dogs, but he seemed at ease interacting with the other pups he met during his stay. Jennifer was super flexible and accommodating, thank you!!”

About: Note: 98% of my business is private clients because Rover does not send me much business. Why you should pick me as your preferred petsitter: I am responsible. Love Pets and your pet(s) are where they belong - in your/their home - unless I am hosting your pet(s). I administer oral and injectable medication to pets as you prescribe. Dogs, cats, fish and birds love me. I stay because it is good for your pets too and I don't want to drive to your home everytime I feed your pet. I save you time by not having to drive to the dogggy/pet hotel. About: I have raised and cared for my families dogs as well as my own personal pets since I was a child. From puppy days to senior life, I have experienced it all and have enjoyed every moment of it. For me, having dogs around is a must! I currently work 4 days a week at a brewery in Rochester. I am available for walks and check-ins Tuesday/Wed all day, Thursday-Friday 8am-11am. About: Our pets are family, and it can be scary sometimes when you don't know who is caring for them while you're gone. Under my care, I treat every fur baby like they were my fur baby. I grew up living with dogs, a Bichon Frise and a Pit Bull, which taught me how to communicate and care for dogs of all sizes and dogs breeds with separation anxiety. I'm pretty active and am currently training for the NYC 2022 Marathon, so I love to run/walk with my dog Casper. About a year ago, Casper and I moved in with my partner Victor and his 2 cats, Jewel & Scarlett, in Rushville, New York. Initially, we were nervous about introducing them so we started slow by keeping them in separate rooms with a gate. Once they became more comfortable and curious about each other (more on the cats end), we took the gate down after a couple days. It was a seamless living transition if there ever was one. Now all 3 love hanging out on the play mat together with their toys or taking naps nearby each other. We're looking for more furry friends to keep them company and to nap together! Our house is quite spacious with a large open living and family room for lots of play time and nap time. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for dogs and cats. Our house has a huge front & backyard (not fenced) to run around on leash. When it snows, we love making dog trails around our property because what dog doesn't love to run in the snow! And I'm very experienced in putting on dog boots if needed. Lastly, we are a 15-20 minute walk to Canandaigua Lake, and live 3 minutes from Bare Hill. Currently, Victor and I are started a small business that will be launching this Spring. We work from home Monday-Friday and make our own hours so we are flexible. And I'm available on the weekends and any last minute bookings. Before any booking, I would like to set up a Meet & Greet to learn what I need to best care for your fur baby(ies) and to make sure Casper and your dog(s) get along (Doggy Day Care). The dates I'm currently unavailable are July 8-24, 2022 and Sept 1-5, 2022. My Home: spacious living and family rooms for dogs to run around, a play mat area with toys, and plenty of space to bring your dog's bed so he/she feels comfortable and at home. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for both dogs and cats. Outside, we have a huge front and backyard, although it is not fenced, still a lot of space to run around on leash. And if your dog loves to run, he/she is welcomed to join our running pack. We're a 15-20 min walk to Canandaigua Lake, and a 3 minute drive to Bare Hill Unique Area. Your Home: I will request a Meet & Greet before booking, and would like to do an initial house visit to learn where the pet food, toys and cleaning supplies are located. Along with learning if your pet has any special needs like medication. I will be a respectful guest in your home and make sure your fur baby(ies) are loved and cared for while you are away.
About: My dogs and I are ready to watch and play with your pets! We love meeting new friends and are more than happy to accommodate you. I'm currently working from home and am generally home all throughout the day to play with and hang out with your pets. If I have an errand to run, I can always let you know ahead of time. We have a fenced in area for the dogs to play and splash if they want! If I do leave the house, I generally crate my dogs and would also crate your pet if you need. About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 13. I walk mine and my sisters dogs frequently. I have done overnights with dogs. I let dogs out during the day and feed them for meal times. I am a nursing student at Hartwick college and can easily work about my schedule to take care of pets. I am unavailable on Thursdays, but every other day works depending on my schedule. In my clients home I use any equipment that they recommend and use. I have taken dogs for rides in my car and roll the windows down for them to see out.

I am able to check in, walk, feed, etc, dogs before work, during my lunch and after work. I have 2 dogs of my own. We live in a 3 bedroom house. Unfortunately, I don’t have a fenced in yard. I do take my dogs on multiple walks everyday along with utilizing a tie out (if they want to stay out longer), and would do the same with yours, so they get some outside time.
About: I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. It works out well because I’m a very active person who likes to get outside as much as possible—hiking when the weather permits and bringing him along with me. This is in part due to my ever-changing, flexible schedule. I have a few set shifts during the week, but for the most part I make my own hours and I have time to be available pretty much whenever I am needed!

I lost my pit bull a few years back so I miss him terribly. Any specifics your dogs need, I work around my schedule and provide it for them and for your peace of mind. I prefer to stay in animals homes so they feel most comfortable as I am used to doing that for my clients, but I go with the flow! I work around noon to 8 pm, I take the trek to Rochester 5 days a week so if you’re local to Rochester I have time in between to check on your animal bestie— usually I do longer stays while clients are on vacation or gone for the summer, anything really works. I usually have 2-3 days off, and can usually adjust my schedule as I need to. I love a good list— and support your animal as directed. Anything to make your animal feel as comfortable and happy as possible! I’ve stayed 2 months in a clients home, and kept watch + it’s always awesome to have someone take care of your animal and your home!
About: I've only looked after our family friend's 2 dogs Skully and Hanna for 2 separate weeks, but it made me want to get a dog myself even more. My first time dog sitting with 2 pups was a success, and it was honestly really fun getting them each a pup cup from Starbucks one of the days, and spoiling them with treats and fruits safe for dogs like blueberries and mangoes. Hanging out with them in general was also a blast. This is something I'm really looking forward to doing in the future. I'm working full time for fairport schools starting this Monday, but should be available in the mornings and after school, which ends at 2:40. I'm also a musician and I have gigs from time to time in Rochester, but it's nothing I can't work my schedule around. The last time I dog sat, the routine went like this: Get up at 7:30 to let the dogs out, then feed them the 1.5 cups each of dog food, let them out to go potty again. Then we would hang out, rest, or start the day until about 2 when we would go on a big walk either throughout the block or to a path on the canal. After that, we would go back again and hang out until about 5:30 when I would let them out, feed them, and let them out again. Then, I would let them out once more for the night before bed. That schedule basically repeated, then I also did some cool extraneous things with them like watching the show about the dog from "Up" on Disney Plus, throwing them sticks and a ball to play fetch with outside, letting them sleep on the beds if the owner says they can, feeding them treats, etc. Also made sure I cleaned up and left the clients home looking exactly how it was when I got there. I like to Febreeze too for some reason to make the house smell good. Looking forward to doing more of this.

About: I have worked with mostly dogs with walking and some training. I have also worked with cats, lizards, birds, and guinea pigs. Any kind of animal works for me. Pet care fits in most of my schedule. I work a 3-11 shift but am able to fit sitting in when not at work. I love animals and enjoy their company. I love walking and hiking and animals make the time even more relaxing. I cannot have pets in my home but can travel to your home to watch your pets in their environment where they can be more comfortable. I can walk or care for them any way that is needed. And our high maintenance older pointer mix is just as peaceful as ever, his respiratory issue was taken care of well and that's a lot to keep up with. I can't say enough how much my wife and I appreciate the care they gave them. The fenced in yard with a good wood pile, walks, and pictures gave us peace of mind the whole time. “Jennifer's place was a haven for dogs who love to have easy access to the outdoors. My dog Kodi is 13 and now has some digestive challenges now. He's pretty cranky for a 9-pound ball of fluff and Jennifer kept him happy and exercised with multiple walks per day and lots of chances to explore outside. Kodi can be avoidant or sometimes fearful of larger dogs, but he seemed at ease interacting with the other pups he met during his stay. Jennifer was super flexible and accommodating, thank you!!”

“I left my fur baby with Matt for a two-week span, and it couldn't have worked out better. Matt immediately connected with my pup, asked a bunch of questions about his routine and likes/dislikes, and was extremely communicative throughout the stay, sending photos and video updates of their walks and playtime. He even helped unload and set up my dog's crate, bed, and belongings! Matt is conscientious and caring, and I am so glad to have found him!! Highly recommend.”
