My Boxer has separation anxiety so bad she got severe colitis last time I had to travel, so I knew a kennel setting would not be good for her. During her stay Rory gave Gigi the opportunity to meet and forge a friendship with another cat. I was so pleased! Rory followed all care requests. Rory sent pictures and videos of Gigi throughout her stay. Gigi appeared very content and happy. Gigi was well cared for and healthy when I picked her up at the end of her stay. “Melissa is a true saint! My family was on a 2.5 week road trip with our 11 month old Akita puppy, Frida, when we decided to make a stop a the Great Blue Heron festival in Sherman, NY. Being on the road and leaving our puppy with a stranger seemed intimidating, especially considering her shy nature, but Melissa was great! Frida was very reserved with Melissa at first, but eventually warmed up. Melissa sent pictures and videos that showed she was having a great time. She went above and beyond to make sure Frida had access to activities that she enjoyed and even set up play dates with other young dogs. I am so so grateful we found Melissa and we were able to leave our pup with someone who put so much love and care into her time with Frida.”

About: My whole life I was never able to have pets up until two years ago which is when I got my first girl, Jojo. She changed my life completely and so I had to get her a sister. My love for them is unmatched and even though I don’t have training what I do have is unconditional love and plenty of free time. I recently resigned from my job so I do not have a work schedule to work around so I am able to give my pets as well as yours all the attention and care that they need. I do have a fenced yard so if they need to go outside for potty or play there is no risk of them running off. I also two dogs at home as previously mentioned but I do have a dog gate inside if your pet needs some alone time. I separate my dogs during meal times and sometimes just to give individual attention. Both my dogs are girls and they are sweet and very playful.

This leaves me with the following (generally consistent) availability for pet care for my Rover clients: -Monday-Friday: Early morning feedings & check-ins; midday feedings & check-ins (if located within 15 minutes of downtown Jamestown); evening feedings, check-ins, & social interaction/hanging out once I am done with my full-time job for the day. I am even open to staying overnight in a client’s home on weeknights to ensure I am providing the best pet care I can while juggling my full-time job. -Weekends: I can typically hang around in a client’s home with your pets all day Saturday and Sunday, or I can just stop by for feedings & check-ins throughout the day. I can also typically stay overnight in a client’s home Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. I am willing to work to tweak my schedule as much as I can within my means, in order to meet the needs of my clients and their pets. :) I prefer to only care for my clients' pets in their own home since pets are typically most comfortable in their usual environments. As long as I am at a client's home, pets will receive more than just the minimum care and attention they require. About: Taken care of all pets since a very young age. I've had multiple cats my whole life and a recently passed dog aswell as fish, rats, guinea pigs, and insects. Family and friends have asked for me to pet-sit and for a year I took care of 2 adorable puppies while their parents worked late to start their business. I have had continued education in cat grooming, dog grooming, skin care, etc. I specialized in senior and anxiety dogs. I have had upward of 9 dogs at one time and they did not all get along. I have also owned a diabetic dog. I also have a Reiki background. Currently I am retired from pet grooming and I own another business that is seasonal therefore my schedule is pretty flexible and my availability is pretty open too. I have a small fenced yard in a low traffic community that is good for walks too. I am familiar with crate training and can accommodate that if needed. I also have gates if access needs to be limited to parts of my house. Example, I do have stairs and can block them if pet is unable to do stairs.

I am comfortable giving oral meds, comfortable learning other routes of medication administration if needed. Currently will only board cats from the same home or young puppies (message for more details) at a time due to other animals in the house. Your fur baby will have their very Owen room with a gate door that is about 6ft tall to keep them safe and comfortable when I am not watching them or letting them out for play time. I will follow your set schedule for feedings and play time. If I am boarding an animal they are my soul focus till pick up time. About: Hello, I grew up in a household with 5 dogs and was always around helping with them in any way I could. I recently worked at a doggy daycare/hotel for about two years. Throughout my years of pet sitting I’ve done it all, whether it was feeding, bathing, or cleaning up after them. I’ve taken care of all ages of dogs, cats, birds, and even a pig before. I love all animals and would love to be considered for any pet care needs! I currently am working part time but am home most of the time. When I am home, the dogs and I play inside and out. Your pets won’t go more than 4 hours alone. I have a mostly fenced in yard for us to go out and play in. About: Hi! I’m Kate :) i’m 25 years old with a 1 year old baby girl. I currently have 3 dogs. Jake is a 9 year old lab mix, Kit is a 7 year old chihuahua and Jordan is a 6 year old shitzu poodle. They are all so spoiled and loved. I am looking to help others with their fur kids as i am a stay at home mom! If you need me, i’ll be there. :) I am stay at home mom so i am available pretty much all the time! Whenever your pup or kitty need a friend i’ll be there! About: Having worked as both a dog trainer and a pet care associate for PetSmart for 3+ years - as well as having always been a pet owner myself - I’ve learned a great deal about how to suit the needs of each and every pet and how to best communicate with them and accommodate their needs! As a teacher aide with summers off, I will have almost complete availability over summer. I am flexible and willing to work with you to figure out what will work best for I can comfortably handle different types of animals with my 2+ years of experience owning my own (cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters, etc) and working with different species, as well as training dogs at my previous job as a PetSmart worker for 3+ years!
About: I've fostered a variety of dogs and puppies of different ages for many years. I have also dog sat for friends before and am reliable. I’ve had dogs all my life, so know how to take care of them in every stage of their life. I'm currently working part time, so I will be available to play with your pets and fulfill their needs. I always make sure my dogs are well taken care of and exercised. I always go outside with the animals so they won't run away and so I can keep an eye on them. I also walk dogs to get some exercise and play with them. I make sure to give them a lot of attention.
About: I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals, from dogs to hamsters to creased geckos. My dog cookie is one of the most kind, loving animals, along with my hedgehogs. I’ve been told that my animals are very well taken care of and I pride my self on that. I promise to care for your animals the same way I care for mine. One of my goals in life is to pet as many dogs as I can throughout my life, gotta live your best life you know? Throughout my 9 years of caring for my dog the only health problem she’s ever had was to fatty tumors and I caught them fast so it wasn’t a big deal because we got them remove. And I know how to cut nails and groom so that’s a bonus. My schedule revolves around my dog and others. We train everyday and go on many adventures. Whatever to make my dog happy or anybody else’s. I love it I care for pets as they are my own, very safe and very cautious. Feed them when they need to be feed, I can do medicine if needed, if they’re on a special diet I can do that. If sick around me I will inform you and try my best to make the dog better, I treat them like family

About: I have taken care of all types of animals since a very young age. We one two turtles one bearded dragon and a puppy. We love animals in our home. They are what make a home complete. “Melissa is a true saint! My family was on a 2.5 week road trip with our 11 month old Akita puppy, Frida, when we decided to make a stop a the Great Blue Heron festival in Sherman, NY. Being on the road and leaving our puppy with a stranger seemed intimidating, especially considering her shy nature, but Melissa was great! Frida was very reserved with Melissa at first, but eventually warmed up. Melissa sent pictures and videos that showed she was having a great time. She went above and beyond to make sure Frida had access to activities that she enjoyed and even set up play dates with other young dogs. I am so so grateful we found Melissa and we were able to leave our pup with someone who put so much love and care into her time with Frida.”
About: Hi there, I’m Maddie! I grew up with animals and now have two dogs of my own. I volunteer once a week at my local humane society and have had experience fostering. I understand the need to know that your animal is receiving the best care possible! It’s my goal and mission to treat your pet as I would my own and provide them with the best care possible! I work remotely full time and have control over my schedule during the weekday and weekends. I bring my dogs to work with me when I have to work in the office. About: I have been pet sitting for most of my life. People have always trusted me with their animals - dogs, cats, tortuous, rabbits, fish, and hedgehogs to name a few. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the majority of my life. My current furry companion is a 5 year old Golden Retriever and two cats. I have cared for family pets and take in friends animals for short and long term. I’m currently on summer break from working in the schools, so I am very flexible schedule-wise. I live in the country and have lots of space to walk pets and enjoy the outdoors. My pets are sociable and love other people and animals.
