She was easy to communicate with, responsive and answered all of our questions. Her property is really well set-up for dog guests, and very securely fenced (one of our dogs is a flight risk so I always double check!). About: I am reliable, with a flexible schedule, and genuine love for animals. Being in nursing school has taught me responsibility, patience, and attention to detail, which I bring to caring for pets. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and everything in between, and I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I’m currently in nursing school, which gives me a very flexible schedule to care for pets. My classes are mostly in the mornings, and I only have clinical once a week, so I have plenty of time during the day and evenings to provide walks, drop-in visits, or pet sitting. My fiancé works from home so one of us is always at home! I care for pets by following their normal routine, making sure they’re fed, walked, and given plenty of attention and playtime. I keep their environment safe, clean, and comfortable, and always treat them like part of the family.

About: I’ve spent many years volunteering at shelters. Dog walking at a very young age started walking dogs in my neighborhood as a kid. It’s only progressed from there. I have training skills in potty training, commands, etc. I have some minimal behavioral training as well. I wake up at 6:00 am everyday. The dogs will get fed shortly after being walked. From there they will be walked every 4 hours. Plus they will get play time for example hike, running, fetch, swimming, etc. I do have 4 dogs in my home. They are all very friendly and well trained. They have been through extensive dog training. I also have enrichment toys to help keep your pups occupied. I have the ability to separate the dogs if needed. I do also have the knowledge of medication administration. I do make sure to monitor the entire time. Will be sure to send photo and video updates.

About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!

“Alex and Rachael were a pleasure to work with. We are from NJ and had to go to Lake Placid for a wedding. We were stressed about who would take care of our 5 month old cattle dog mix (high energy) while we were at wedding festivities. They worked out a schedule with us and were easy to work with, reliable, and the dog was happy to go with them. We got pictures and updates regularly and I’m so glad we found them! I highly recommend them to anyone needing dog care while in the Lake Placid area. Too bad they live so far from our regular home! It’s hard to find such great dog care!”

About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a small farm. I have chickens, ducks, turkies, pigs, dogs and cats. Alone with rabbits and guinea pigs. we are a very pet friendly area. Live in a wooded area on a dead end street. I currently work from home and have time for pet care. My youngest daughter is also in the home.
