“Leaving Bounce with Julia while visiting Saratoga Springs was our first experience with Rover. Julia exuded warmth, competency and friendliness in all her online and in-person communications. Our dog can be hard to read: He has incredible bursts of energy, yet sleeps a lot. He loves other dogs, but in some instances becomes fearful of them. Julia assured us she would gauge his mood and decide to crate him or send him off for some group dog play, which is what resulted (dog play). When she drove him back to our hotel, he did not want to leave her car. So, that proved that all the good things we saw in Julia came true. Thank you for taking such care of our beloved Bounce! When we returned to Saratoga, we will also return Bounce to Julia's kind care.”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every pet. I have a German Shepherd puppy of my own who is currently in training and has already graduated level one classes, so I understand the importance of structure, patience, exercise, and positive reinforcement. He also regularly attends daycare and is very well cared for, which has given me hands-on experience with socialization and daily routines. I know every pet has a different personality and comfort level, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. She stayed in contact with us, made sure our cat took his meds, which is extremely important , and sat with him and pet him every visit so he wouldn't be lonely. We were anxious about leaving him but she demolished our fears and we were able to rest assured knowing our cat Maui was being well taken care of. “Meghan was great! The last time we hired a walker, one of our pups didn’t walk. He wouldn’t leave the house and we had to call in a favor from family. We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. While we were gone, she walked the dogs twice a day, including the one who was socially anxious. Our house looked great when we got home and the animals were in very good spirits. About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

She stopped by AFTER a full days work, which was at least another 20 minutes in the opposite direction from me. Despite these logistics, Emily showed up consistently early evening immediately after her work day. She performed all the duties necessary during each visit, plus she performed some special handling for a package that arrived while I was away. I would not hesitate using her again, and would recommend her.”

About: I have cared for pets, primarily dogs, for 11 years. I have two dogs, Simon (19) and Maggie (4). Simon is deaf, mostly blind, and has arthritis, and I am experienced in caring for dogs with these conditions. Maggie is an emotional support animal and service dog in training. I have cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, turtles, and yes even snakes. I’ve even experienced breeding and nurturing 11 golden retrievers (3 adults and 8 puppies) at one time. About: I have been an animal lover since I was a young child (when I found out where meat came from at age 4, I became a vegetarian… if that tells you anything!) I was an adoring dog owner until 2023 when my beloved Oak (picture above) went over the rainbow bridge. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and have helped care for them from puppy to senior. I’ve been caring for my cats for the last 3 years. Even with a busy schedule, I make sure my pet’s needs are always a priority. I care for pets in my home by creating a safe, active, and comfortable environment where they feel right at home. I have a fenced-in yard, so dogs get plenty of time outside to run and play. I also have a pup of my own who loves being around other dogs, which helps keep visiting pups entertained and social. Throughout the day, they’ll have a mix of playtime with other dogs and one-on-one attention, along with lots of cuddles so they feel cared for and not alone. Inside, I make sure every dog has a space where they feel secure. I have a crate available if needed, but there’s also plenty of room if you’d prefer to bring your own crate. About: I’m Jess and I’m a full time programmer looking to spend time with dogs! I have had dogs all my life including small and large (150lbs!!) I have had 4 dogs in total since I have been born. I recently moved back home into my own apartment and I’m not able to care for my own dog. I’ve taken care of my own dogs my entire life and I miss it quite a bit! While I’m home, I want to provide dogs care while keeping myself busy as well! I’m very flexible and I’m a hard worker! If there are specifics to your dog, I promise to follow them to the T. If you need me at a moments notice, I will get back to you ASAP. Dogs truly are a mans best friend and I want to keep them in my company! I work full time and I can care for dogs in the morning and evening. I can do an occasional walk during my lunch. I also work from home and there is some flexibility around when I can do that. I love building connections with dogs. I know that it is probably super scary for them to have a stranger come into their home. I do not push dogs past their comfort zones. I let them warm up to me on their own schedule.

About: I've had pets since I was 7 years old and have always loved animals. My husband and I have 3 cats, Olive, Marcel and Gus. I enjoy being able to spend time with other people’s pets and ensure they are cared for and have the same routines and schedules as when their pet parents are home. I’ve cared for friends and family's animals in the past. I can administer medicine, follow feeding schedules, walk, play and spend quality time with your pets while you are away. My husband and I moved from Indianapolis to New York in October of 2022. We’ve been spending most our time on home renovations and loving how peaceful our new home is. About: Hi there! My name is Natalia and I live in South Burlington my little 12 year old fur baby (pug/daschund mix). I can understand and relate to the stress and importance of finding a trustworthy care giver. I would love to be able to give the kind of care to your little one like I would expect for my own. About: I have cared for pets, primarily dogs, for 11 years. I have two dogs, Simon (19) and Maggie (4). Simon is deaf, mostly blind, and has arthritis, and I am experienced in caring for dogs with these conditions. Maggie is an emotional support animal and service dog in training. I also have experience watching and walking dogs for other people, including strangers’ pets, and I’m comfortable with different personalities and energy levels. “Leaving Bounce with Julia while visiting Saratoga Springs was our first experience with Rover. Julia exuded warmth, competency and friendliness in all her online and in-person communications. Our dog can be hard to read: He has incredible bursts of energy, yet sleeps a lot. He loves other dogs, but in some instances becomes fearful of them. Julia assured us she would gauge his mood and decide to crate him or send him off for some group dog play, which is what resulted (dog play). When she drove him back to our hotel, he did not want to leave her car. So, that proved that all the good things we saw in Julia came true. Thank you for taking such care of our beloved Bounce! When we returned to Saratoga, we will also return Bounce to Julia's kind care.”

About: I love all animals!!! I really enjoy coming to your house and playing with your precious babies. I have cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, turtles, and yes even snakes. I’ve even experienced breeding and nurturing 11 golden retrievers (3 adults and 8 puppies) at one time. I will come to your house to LOVE, feed, water, play, brush, walk, talk to, and even car rides with your beautiful pets. My goal is to watch pups in their own environment. It’s always difficult when Mom and Dad go away, but they are definitely less stressed if they get to stay home. This way they can feel safe and comfortable in their own surroundings
