“Janyl went above and beyond to provide amazing care to my two cats while I was away for two weeks. I was nervous to leave them for this amount of time especially because one is elderly and has some health issues. Janyl immediately put me at ease during our initial meet and greet. She was very thorough, asked great questions, and was clearly very knowledgable. Janyl had great intuition when it came to the cats' temperaments. She checked in with me daily, sent lots of pictures, and gave me a detailed run down of what she and the cats did each day. She even clipped their nails during her visit and vacuumed. My home was neat and tidy when I returned from a long travel day (so nice). The cats seemed to be very comfortable with her and I was able to enjoy my time away knowing they were in such good hands. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.
