“Had a magnificent experience leaving my boys ( 7 months old) with Annalisa. First, I must say that I am new to Rover and was leaving my pups for the first time, so needless to say I was nervous. Annalisa sensed our nervousness and first graciously came over to my home to meet us and the boys in their own environment with her own dog. The boys felt really comfortable with Annalisa and her dog. We then went to her place and the boys were thrilled again to see her and her dog once again, and they felt really comfortable at her home. So we felt at ease with the decision to leave them there. While we were on our trip we communicated daily and got pictures of the boys. Annalisa was easy to reach. She was always reassured us the boys were well and happy. She herself always seemed at ease and comfortable and happy to be with the boys. I always worry about how the boys will be accepted as they are very energetic and rambunctious but Annalisa seemed to take it all in stride.She even explained that she had to give one of the boys a bath as he had soiled himself. When we came to pick them up it was clear they were happy there. We feel very good about the whole experience. She did a wonderful job of making us feel at ease about leaving the boys there with her. Its clear the boys were well attended to and were made to feel at home there with her. It was important for us that the boys were treated as well as we try to treat them ourselves. Annalisa met all our needs and we trust her completely with the boys. We recommend her highly.”

About: Growing up my parents got a dog for every child they had and theirs four of us. Ive been in love with dogs since I could remember my first pup ever!! I did spend a year as a bather at Petsmart best job ever so I have no problem with giving your fur babies a nice wash, I’m not much of a runner but I do take my dog on the bike path and I’ll ride while he runs until he’s tired then we’ll both walk back. I love all animals as if they’re mines I get emotionally attached at first site and love and care for them like they are my forever babies. I do currently work full time but I am very flexible with my hrs and will always be willing to work around your schedule to be with your fur family. I have only trained 2 dogs in my entire life and only got as far as sit right and left paw stay walk and run. I will always have a huge heart for any animal including yours!! About: I’ve been a dog owner since 2020, when I got my first dog as a puppy. Since then, I’ve learned firsthand what it takes to raise, train, and care for a dog from a young age. I currently have two dogs and they’re a big part of my everyday life! I’m a senior in high school with no extracurriculars during this season, which makes my schedule very flexible. I also have my own transportation, so I’m reliable and easy to coordinate with! I take safety seriously and always make sure dogs are supervised and comfortable. I follow all instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and pay attention to behavior to make sure each dog feels secure and stress free.
About: I was raised on a small family farm, and have cared for goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and more while a part of that. As a child and teenager, I trained dogs through my local 4-H program, and later on started petsitting for family friends. I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, cats, chickens, cows, pigs, goats, turtles, geese, canaries, ducks, and so many others, and I'm always willing to learn something new! I work full-time, night shifts during the week and mornings on weekends, but I'm typically only gone 8 hours max, so there's still plenty of time for me to provide plenty of care and attention to the pets! I typically stay overnight, and will either crate the pets if needed, or let them sleep with me, I wake up with them and spend my day hanging out with them, playing or just relaxing. I do my best to care for each pet as their owner would, to help minimize stress.
About: My first formal pet sitting experience was taking out and playing with my uncle’s black lab puppy after school, my senior year of high school. Then, that same year I pet my aunt’s 2 cats in 2016. During the pandemic, for over a year, I stayed at my friend’s house while she was away at work. I would take her precious pup Lala out for walks, give Lala and her cat-sister Sophia their meds with breakfast, and treat them like the princesses they are. I recently left law school, so my availability is completely free until I find a full-time job! I would love to set your mind at ease by visiting your home as often as you’d like! I would care for my clients’ pets the same way I care for my cat-son, Remy. I give him all the attention he desires, and I do the less-than-desireable things (like washing his litterbox monthly, clipping his nails, and brushing his teeth) with a smile because I know it’s what’s best for him.
“Natalie did an amazing job taking care of my cat. My cat has advanced CKD and absolutely hates being boarded. Natalie took the time to come learn how to administer all of the medications so my cat could stay at home and be comfortable while I was away. Natalie arrived promptly each time and spent time to make sure everything was perfect. I had a fairly large checklist of items that needed to be done daily and Natalie took care of everything exactly the way I asked. This was the first time having someone come to my home to take care of my pet; however, Natalie went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfect while I was away, even bringing in my mail! About: One of my biggest passions is saving animals lives through fostering. My fostering experience has provided me many skills necessary to care for animals with varying needs, including young kittens, diabetic cats, XXS chihuahuas, and XXL breed dogs. About: I have past experience working for Wag where I walked a number of different dogs over the course of about a year and a half. I also have experience with raising, training, and caring for my own pups as well as my two cats! I work as a freelancer currently, so I will have plenty of time to stop in and care for your pet any day of the week you need me! About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I was a dog runner in NYC for 2 years, I grew up with a hunting dog, I've had multiple Chihuahuas as pets. I also have tended to all my dogs needs, included bathing and nail trimming. And I know how to cut nails and groom so that’s a bonus. My schedule revolves around my dog and others. We train everyday and go on many adventures. Whatever to make my dog happy or anybody else’s. I love it I care for pets as they are my own, very safe and very cautious. Feed them when they need to be feed, I can do medicine if needed, if they’re on a special diet I can do that. If sick around me I will inform you and try my best to make the dog better, I treat them like family

About: Have trained and raised 3 beautiful dogs and have family within the foster and veterinary fields. Having a few pit bulls, have basic obedience and leash walking training..we live super close to the water as well as dog parks and playgrounds and would love to help other pups have a good and safe life:) Or a cozy environment if your fur baby prefers a calm safe space. One of us works from home, mainly nights, so there is always someone around to take care of the precious pup..and our weekends consist of hikes, water adventures, less reactive trails, and movie parties! We have a closed in 3 floor apartment as well as multiple courtyards and doggy parks right around the corner from where we live. We live directly next to a school so a fenced in playground (without other dogs) is also available. We have a large and small sized crate with lots of enrichment treat, toys, galore !

“Had a magnificent experience leaving my boys ( 7 months old) with Annalisa. First, I must say that I am new to Rover and was leaving my pups for the first time, so needless to say I was nervous. Annalisa sensed our nervousness and first graciously came over to my home to meet us and the boys in their own environment with her own dog. The boys felt really comfortable with Annalisa and her dog. We then went to her place and the boys were thrilled again to see her and her dog once again, and they felt really comfortable at her home. So we felt at ease with the decision to leave them there. While we were on our trip we communicated daily and got pictures of the boys. Annalisa was easy to reach. She was always reassured us the boys were well and happy. She herself always seemed at ease and comfortable and happy to be with the boys. About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
