About: Hi, my name is Lia. I am a 39 year old artist. I was born and raised in a rural part of northern NJ where we always had a wide variety of animals as well as 2-3 dogs at any given time; predominantly German Shephards. (We also had fish, cats, chickens, horses, rabbits and more!) I have a strong love and appreciation for all animals, but especially dogs, and would love so very much to take care of your pet while you are away. I love going outdoors and being physically active and would love to share outdoor playtime with your pet. Why I love dog sitting I've had dogs my whole life. My family predominantly raised German Shepherds - and we typically had 2-3 dogs in our family at any given time. Dogs have always created a special connection and friendship for me that is irreplaceable! My experience administering medication Yes - so long as the owner feels that it is appropriate and manageable. About: Growing up with 6 dogs in our home at once, I have a special connection and love for animals. Working with rescues, pure breed dogs, females in heat and knowing how to whelp, has given me plenty of experience. I have been boarding dogs in my home for over 7 years. I am home full time, with the occasional errand to run. There is a place to hike, with great trails, right up the road from my home. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can run, play and hangout in the sun. I live on 9 acers, for us to explore and go for walks. I have dogs of my own, so your dog will have plenty of socialization and play time. Raw food diet or special dietary issues are not a problem. Meet and greet is required for all potential stays.

About: If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you!!! Trips to parks (on and off leash), running the trails, and swimming in a Lake will happen every day. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I have a very open schedule. Usually I go to the park go with my family who enjoy the day doing things outside the house. If you have a last minute appointment or you need anything on the same day I do take them I have a very open schedule one works in the morning and the other one works in the afternoon so your pet will never be alone. I had pets before they pass away. We used to love our pets so much. We took CPR classes and emergency classes for pets just in case.

I have a flexible schedule and keep my rover calendar updated! I am an early riser and like to get moving so if you need morning help I am happy to do so. I try not to be out super late so unless I am doing an overnight the latest I'd do a visit it 9pm-10pm. Unfortunately, I can no longer offer home care in my house. For pet parents, I will arrive within the designated time, greet the pet with a warm hello, check the water to make sure it is clean and full, check the food to confirm the amount eaten, take the puppy outside to relieve itself, and/or change the puppy pad if required. Give the dog some good scratches and pats and maybe a treat if available. If the dog wants to play tug-o-war or fetch I'll do some of that too. I would like to tailor the visit to the dog's routine, so as not to cause any undue stress.
About: I am affectionate and I love observing the character of each furry one. I have had very good experiences with the noble hearts of the furry ones. After breakfast I like to write in my diary, fill myself with good vibes with the sun and go out for a walk and meditate, when I come back I take a bath and get ready to go to work, I have a yard and fanced, I don't have furry ones at home but I love taking pictures. “Chaqutia looked after my pup, Ralph, for just over a week. I was nervous about leaving him for such a long period of time especially as he was unwell. Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic.
