About: Peppy Pet Care was launched at the end of 2018 in Ithaca, NY by myself and my animal-loving, entrepreneurial eleven year old daughter. Together we worked to provide outstanding pet sitting services to Ithaca and Lansing pet owners. About: Ever since I was 5 years old I was taught the responsibility and knowledge to handle dogs and animals of all varieties. I cared for parakeets, doves, fish, chinchilla, kids, many dogs both big and small, rescued and pure bred, and have had many canine friends over the years. I’ll treat your fur babies as lovingly as I treat mine! I don’t mind cleaning them, bathing, walking, feeding, exercising, or any other thing needed to their specifications. I will follow your instructions to the T. I have all the time to give them my full attention and love, and never less. I ensure you, that with me, you’re barking up the right tree! About: I’ve owned cats my entire life. There's no better feeling than having a cat curled up purring on your lap. My current cat is a senior tortie named Queen that I adopted from the SPCA. Animal rescue is my of biggest passion. When I was growing up, my mother fostered many cats and kittens for the SPCA. That is where my love of cats started; helping her take care of the fosters as a child. I'm well versed in reading body language through their tail and ears. I have lots of experience with senior cats with health conditions. I’m very familiar with managing pet prescriptions and special diets. I'm comfortable administering medications if needed. About: Hi! My name is Emery and I am a recent college grad. I've had a wide variety of pets that I've taken care of in the 7 years of experience I have. I have taken care of dogs for about 4 years and have experience feeding, walking, and watching dogs. I also really enjoy taking dogs on hikes! I have mostly done house drop ins where I would feed the dogs and play with them. I own three cats myself, Pumpkin (13), Bean (11 weeks old) and Sprout (3). I have trained the older ones to do tricks and to go on walks. My most recent experience has mostly been in care for cats, where I would feed and play with them at home visits. I am currently a line cook and I work mostly evenings. I can easily work pet care around my schedule by making sure I go to take care of your pet needs before any shift. I have two cats at home, and I am willing to house cats at my home. Small dogs are allowed on a case by case basis. I have an extra bedroom to be used as a safe zone for your pet's privacy. I also already have extra litter boxes. Our cats here have experience meeting other cats and dogs. They interact well with them. As for dogs I am willing to dedicate as much time needed to make sure they adjust well and feel safe with me. I love to play with dogs and give them belly rubs.
About: My whole life I have been into only 1 thing! And that is animals. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at a local horse rescue everyday after school and by the age of 18 I was volunteering at my local SPCA feeding and walking dogs. I went to college at SUNY Cobleskill for 4yrs and graduated with honors and received my bachelors degree in Animal Science. I studied many different training techniques with both horses and small animals, I even learned how to clicker train a chicken! ;) I’ve taken classes in care, management, training, behavior issues and many more. After graduation I became a riding instructor and horse trainer at a near by stable. I now run my own business as an equine dentist which leaves me with tons of extra time as I usually only schedule trips 1-2x a week! I currently have 4 horses, 2 cats, 1 really friendly German Shepherds, small Maltese, a ball python, and a Quaker Parrot named Echo. I have my own business! As an equine dentist I normally can only visit farms when owners are home so that means most weekend days are spent doing that while during the weekdays I’m totally free! Yard behind the house for the dogs, it is fenced off. We own a 3 bedroom so plenty of room for more animals! I am right in town so I can take dogs for walks or to the park. I share my house with my bf and his 10yr old sister who is my foster daughter. Also a huge animal person!

About: I am just starting to my fourth career, playing with your companion. I recently retired from teaching sustainable development at UAlbany. I now spend my days outside with hairy friend Herman. I picked up my first stray, Bandit, at 9. I have had a at least one dog since then, I am now 63. All from shelters or strays. I also did doggie foster care too. Known to be gentle and friend of the furry ones. I start each day with a morning meander across the 25 acres on a dead end road. Your companion will be well exercised, loved and cared for as long as they get along with my 14 year old hairy friend Herman, who lets cats eat from his dishes. He runs the place when it comes to house rules. He does not have viscous bone in his body. After three careers and global travel I am recently retired. My days are spent gardening, walking, sitting on the porch, listening to music, etc. I am rarely gone more than a few hours as Herman, my four legged friend, needs special care at 14 years old. I am typically up before dawn, no dog or alarm necessary. My day typically begins with me waking predawn and greeting the new day with my hound Herman on the 25 acres we cohabitate. Most is abandoned agriculture returning to forest for 35 plus years that is bisected by a small babbling brook. Breakfast is then served before returning outside. In climate weather I am outside more than 70% of my day outside. At 14 he chooses to stay in sometimes. Your companion will be free to make their own choice too. My life ambition is to nurture life. I have cared for pets since I was born as my family had cats. There is a fenced area that includes four shaded area. There will be plenty of water, including a baby pool for play as well as sprinklers. This area is shares two fences lines with my garden, has direct access to a walk out basement, and is fully visible from my porch. The dogs will have near 24/7 personal attention and care. I live sustainably. There are no chemicals in my lawn or garden. I have an enclosed porch that in the summer is open air, but no steps to escape. Only with your permission would I walk a guest off leash. Before walking them off leash I will need feel 100% confident they respond to command when other distractions are present. Again with your permission I would take your friend to a fenced in dog park visit as a trial run. Herman, my housemate, is a happy healthy 14 year old he is my best reference. He also has final word on all guest of all species. About an 1/2 acre is fenced with direct access from the house through the basement door. It includes shaded doggie lounges, a baby pool in the summer, toys galore, and lots of attention as the space is adjacent to my garden and the covered porch. It has the capacity to be divided if unruly dog needs to be isolated or there are little ones that just need time away from the bigger ones. Indoors, dogs are free to roam in the basement and first floor. If they are cage trained I can accommodate that. The two beds are off limits. To prevent misunderstanding with bed loving dogs I will keep my guest room. Both the porch and the living room couches are fine. Little ones may use chairs too. The house is really set up for Herman’s comfort and safety. The 32x10 covered front porch is a favorite of Herman and all his visiting friends. Your hairy friend will be delighted by this feature too. One more thing, the hardwood floors are currently covered in rubber “yoga mats” as Herman can not cope with slippery floors. There are also many large dog beds that Herman is happy to share. Opps, where are our manners; welcome to our slice of Paradise!😊

About: I am a lifelong rescuer of dogs and cats...I have raised puppies, adopted senior dogs, and adopted six dogs from shelters in the last 25 years. Most of my dogs and I had basic training classes together. I love walking dogs, playing with them, and caring for them in general...and i am excellent at bathing and medicating pups of all ages....even the reluctant ones! I like to be outdoors, so I am happy to walk and play with the dogs in my care outside at least 3 times a day.. I work from home, so I am generally available, weekdays and weekends. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all my life. In the past 8 years I have lived in CO during that time, I have been through pain and loss. Shortly after moving our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and then our cat with Heart/Kidney disease. I have experience with caring for sick animals (dogs and cats) - giving medication, subcutaneous fluids, frequent bathroom breaks/issues, also first hand experience with separation anxiety I have currently moved back to my home in the Finger Lakes of New York! I make sure that all of your pets’ needs are met from the first moment they come into home, just like I would with my own dog, Brisco. Text/email updates are given throughout the stay, at least once per day. Our spacious backyard and separate zones of the house are large enough for everyone to have quiet time if they like. Pups will be monitored outside at all times. We will be sure to monitor the environment of exotic pets & aquatic species carefully.
About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 7 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I'm now a stay at home mom missing my daily dog visits! I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab grey hound mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I'm willing to bathe and groom but it just depends on your dogs hair and size because I do not have a grooming area set up yet in my home, but I'm willing to talk about it! I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

About: I am a lover of all pets and have experience ranging from stopping by for bathroom breaks/feeding to overnight house sitting. I have been relied on to walk, feed, and give medication to cats and dogs. I am comfortable with all size pets. I am a young adult with no children and work 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday. I am able to work from home once and month and around the holidays from September to mid-May. I work from home once a week in the summer months. About: My whole life I have been into only 1 thing! And that is animals. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at a local horse rescue everyday after school and by the age of 18 I was volunteering at my local SPCA feeding and walking dogs. I went to college at SUNY Cobleskill for 4yrs and graduated with honors and received my bachelors degree in Animal Science. I studied many different training techniques with both horses and small animals, I even learned how to clicker train a chicken! ;) I’ve taken classes in care, management, training, behavior issues and many more. After graduation I became a riding instructor and horse trainer at a near by stable. I now run my own business as an equine dentist which leaves me with tons of extra time as I usually only schedule trips 1-2x a week! I currently have 4 horses, 2 cats, 1 really friendly German Shepherds, small Maltese, a ball python, and a Quaker Parrot named Echo. I have my own business! As an equine dentist I normally can only visit farms when owners are home so that means most weekend days are spent doing that while during the weekdays I’m totally free! Yard behind the house for the dogs, it is fenced off. We own a 3 bedroom so plenty of room for more animals! I am right in town so I can take dogs for walks or to the park. I share my house with my bf and his 10yr old sister who is my foster daughter. Also a huge animal person!
