“This lady and her husband are the best kept secret of Rover! My dog has typically refused to eat for the first day or two of boarding, but with Sue, she ate the first night, her tail was high and wagging! She was a happy little camper. I would recommend Sue, without any reservations. She truly cares for her boarded dogs- they do know who loves them. She will always be our first choice!!”

“Samantha and her family are amazing. Honestly. My first time boarding my 3 month old puppy and they made it so easy. Communication and kindness!! Such genuine people. Thank you for everything!!”

“Onyx spent a week with Mike. He sent us pictures and communicated regularly. Mike is very easygoing and made Onyx feel right at home. It is comforting to know that you can go away and know that your dog is happy and well cared for. Thank you Mike!”

“Brigid was perfect for my older dog Scout. She is very loving and attentive. Scout seemed very content with Brigid, who kept me updated with photos and videos. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter for Scout.”

“Bob was very kind and knows how to make you’re dog feel welcome in his home. Very convieninet location for a day skiing at Windham. We will definitely seek out bobs boarding on our next trip.”

“Mery and Brad looked after my greyhound Nadia for a few nights and they did a marvelous job! Setting up Nadia's stay was very easy and my messages were replied to promptly. I was also kept updated throughout her stay. Nadia was obviously happy and well looked after when I went to pick her up; I would definitely recommend Mery and Brad to anyone looking for caring and wonderful dog sitters!”
“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Gillian and her family. We’ve used her a lot this year and will continue to trust her to take care of my pup. Cooper is 15 years old, he sleeps a lot but still has a pep in his step. Gillian makes sure he gets outside time and walks along with lots of snuggle time. He isn’t hesitant when we get to their house like he was with other sitters. And he’s acting more like himself there which tells me he is comfortable. I get multiple texts, pictures and videos when he’s there, so I know he’s doing well.”

“This was the first time I used a Rover and it was definitely worth it. Jessica kept me updated on my doggy since this was his first time staying with a someone else and he has separation anxiety. My dog was very relaxed with her so there was no issues. She sent me lots of pics of him on his bed and when they go on walks. I will definitely book Jessica again the next time I go on vacation.”

“Anthony and Jane were fantastic. Great communicators, really nice setup on their property with tons of space and a fenced yard. My dog got along well with theirs. Will definitely book again.”

“Natthinee did a wonderful job taking care of my Moose! She sent lots of pictures and videos of him having a great time doing all of his tricks and playing with their dog. He will definitely be coming back for more visits!”

“Anna was absolutely amazing with my dog during his overnight stay! She’s very communicative, caring, and clearly passionate about what she does. From the meet-and-greet, I knew my pup was in great hands. She even sent him home with a thoughtful doggy bag, which was such a sweet touch. Highly recommend!”

“We couldn’t have been happier with our first experience leaving our dog with Kyle. Her love of dogs is obvious. She took such good care of him and kept in regular contact with us with pictures and videos. He came home happy and unstressed. Actually, I’m not sure he wanted to come home 😆. We definitely recommend her!”

About: I’m a certified dog trainer with 30 years of experience and have helped thousands of dogs—from puppies to seniors. Your dog will never go home with worse manners after staying with me! Every pup gets one-on-one attention, enrichment, and plenty of daily playtime. I’m home the majority of the week, which means your dog gets lots of company, cuddles, and care! I’m happy to board your sweet pup anytime you need me. I’ve got a fully fenced yard and a goofy young playmate who loves making new dog friends! Your pup will enjoy tons of zoomies, sniffing, and social fun. At night, everyone snoozes safely in their crates—but don’t worry, I’m always on “midnight potty duty” for puppies and seniors who need a quick outing!
“Chelsea and Christopher were wonderful with our 2 pups. This is the first time we’ve had to leave our dogs outside of staying with family so I was nervous and hesitant. They calmed all my fears and took great care of our dogs— one of which also has some special needs. If we come back to upstate NY, we will definitely be booking with them again! Thank you!!”

“Kaitlyn was amazing! She helped us out when we were in a pinch and needed dog sitting for a weekend with only one days notice! We had never had Lucy boarded anywhere before and we were a bit nervous about the process, but it went so smoothly! She sent pictures to reassure my kiddos she was being well taken care of! I would definitely recommend her services and will be using her again for dog sitting in the future!”

“We don’t let anyone else watch our French bulldog. David takes her for plenty of walks, gives her lots of attention, and makes sure she gets her medication. She’s very happy with David, as are we!”

“Jennifer was amazing. I can’t say enough good things. She treated my pup like one of her own and I am truly grateful. Leaving and being away from your pup is an anxiety inducing experience, but Jennifer took such good care of Cadbury and was so incredible at keeping me updated that I didn’t have to worry and was able to focus on my conference instead of worrying about him. And she also kept Cadbury entertained and engaged so his mind was on whatever thing was going on at the moment which I was glad for Her dogs welcomed Cadbury to their pack which I was also incredibly appreciative of. I am so glad he has new friends that I look forward to him spending more time with them. Jennifer, her mom and their pack were amazing and so glad it worked out the way it did. I’m sure I’m missing things but they were amazing and look forward to Cadbury’s next experience there and so glad to know I have a place I can trust. Thanks Jennifer!”

“This was the first time using Rover and leaving our puppy and Tiffany was amazing! Super supportive and sent many updates. She is fantastic and I encourage you to trust your furbabies with her!”

“Chris was a wonderful sitter. With Chris, you also get Jia, his girlfriend, as a bonus second sitter who loves dogs. Bentley made immediate friends upon the preliminary meet and greet. The couple has no pets currently, so they were able to give Bentley loads of personal attention and play time. Chris lives near Washington Park, so Bentley had plenty of grassy area to run around and meet other dogs. Chris and Jia worked with our high energy, young pyredoodle, so Bentley would respond to commands more readily. We highly recommend booking with Chris.”

“Our dog Cadie very much enjoyed her stay at Lori’s! Cadie was able to play ball and enjoy playing with the other dogs. Lori was very flexible and accommodating to our schedule and took great care of Cadie. We definitely recommend Lori and will have her watch Cadie again in the future.”

“We are so thankful we found Alyssa! She is just amazing with our animals. She is extremely thorough with details of caring for them. She truly went above and beyond and was very responsible. We were so at ease while we were away knowing our animals were in such good hands and would highly recommend her!”

“Monica is absolutely wonderful, and Lucky really enjoyed her company. Monica is respectful and does every asked of her. Couldn't ask for a better cat sitter. Will be booking again.”

“Glenn and Diana were the best sitters ever! We have a very hyper, young lab who does not like to be left alone. We have never used a professional pet sitting service before and Glenn and Diana provided us with not only did they provide excellent pet care, but they were extremely flexible with several last minute schedule changes. They also helped us navigate the Rover app to help correct errors on our part as well as giving our dog some short training sessions with sit, down, and stay while they were spending time with her. Glenn and Diana played a lot of fetch with the dog and gave our cat tons of attention too. Great sitters who really put us at ease! We highly recommend them and Rover!”

“Kasey was great! Would leave my girls anytime with her. She kept in contact with us. I definitely will use her services in the future. I felt confident leaving them with her before I left, we communicated quite a bit before our trip. My dogs were happy to see us when we got home, but I can tell they were happy and well cared for when I was not here....Amy Rickard”

“Petra is an amazing and loving dog sitter. She helped my family take care of our 3 dogs during the month of March. Petra played fetch with our dogs, walked them down to our stream, and took care of our cavalier’s eyes. She really went above & beyond with our pups, she sent tons of pictures during all of her visits. We are so grateful to find her! We would highly recommend Petra to anyone needing animal services. She is wonderful and so caring! She even let our chickens out as well!”

“Tatiana is the fairy paw mother! She took good care of my furry roommates and understood my anxiety of leaving them. I came home to happy well looked after cats.”

“Elizabeth performed brilliantly -- she completed all requests without fail and provided plenty of photographic and written responses. She was timely in arranging service initially. And she managed the visits and house key drop-off well. We appreciated her willingness to commit to providing care with short notice. Thanks!”

“So happy to find such a great home for Sunny to visit while we’re gone — and only 11-minutes away. We could tell on our “meet & greet” visit that Sue and her pup & cat would get along well with ours. Sue send pix and a video today, and I could tell Sunny was very happy there. When I picked her up at the end of the day, it was obvious they were all happy together. Looking forward to many more visits and overnights!”

“I just had the opportunity to meet Bob today. I can’t say enough about him. He was so interested in Bentley and making sure he felt comfortable. I will definitely return.”

“I'm so glad I found Jessica!!! So hard finding a day care that can take him so early because of my work. She sends me so many pics after the day is done! Thanks jessica!! you are a life saver!!”
“Exceptional people! They are extremely responsive and were very welcoming. We set up a meet and greet to make sure Sheba would get along with Bear which made me feel comfortable that I was leaving Sheba in good, capable hands. I get several updates throughout the day which is awesome and they are very flexible with times. 10/10 would recommend to a friend or anyone that needs doggy daycare. Thanks for being awesome guys!”

“I'm so happy with Anna's pet care service. She is incredibly responsive and kind to my pup. My dog is normally anxious with new people but he gets along very well with Anna. He comes home happy and relaxed everyday! I highly recommend her.”

“Chelsea was amazing and my pup must have known the minute he met her. It is rare that he walks right up to anyone he doesn’t know but he did with her. He seemed to have a great time and looked so happy in the pics. This really made me feel good about my choice. Thanks Chelsea. Loved the report card as well. See you next time.”

“Brad and Mery were wonderful, and took great care of our dog Maisie. I loved getting pictures and updates daily- it made me feel much better being away! I highly recommend, and hope to use them again in the future!”

“Nat was great with our two pups. Our one dog is still a puppy in many ways and this was her first Rover experience. Nat didn’t make us feel bad for the behaviors that I know are difficult to manage or come with a pups first time stay. She kept us updated With pics and videos which we loved. If you want a safe and loving place for your pups, Nat is the way to go!”

“Tiffany is a wonderful host, and Sunny had a terrific place to stay. A big comfy couch for the pups, a doggy door leading to a big fenced yard, and three very friendly pups of her own. Looking forward to a return trip later when we’ll be gone for a week. And looking forward to checking out the delicious looking cakes, cupcakes, & cake pops she custom makes!”

“Great first experience leaving my dog in their house for a day for daycare. Christopher and Chelsea both are very kind, sweet, patient and knowledgeable about caring for dogs. When I picked up, I can tell my baby is so happy, satisfied and well rested. Will definitely come back again!”

“This was my first time using Rover and, remarkably, my first time leaving my dog Maddy with someone in their house, and not my own. Lori was wonderful! She answered all my questions before the day, and answered so promptly too. Maddy and Lori's dog Rees were very compatible, even though Rees is much bigger than Maddy. When I came to pick up my dog, Lori said Maddy missed me and was a bit subdued, but that's to be expected for the first time. Maddy was perfectly fine, and happy to see me when I came to pick her up. I will be booking with Lori and Rees again. Practice makes perfect!”

“Gillian and Mitch and their four pups are absolutely amazing. They were so welcoming of Biscuit, who fit right in with the pack and had a blast. Came home completely tired and ready for dinner and sleep! Gillian kept me posted if his activities throughout the day. We will definitely go back to her.”

“I am so grateful to Kim for watching my dog for daycare. Tuna had a great time hanging out with resident pup, Bella; they ran around in the enclosed back patio and she got to hang outside on the deck which is her favorite pastime while waiting for me to pick her up after work. Kim's son took her on multiple walks each day, including first thing in the morning which gave me peace of mind and made our morning that much easier. I could tell Tuna liked spending the day there which is super important to me; we'd love to be a repeat client due to our positive experience!”

About: Raised a well trained border collie in high school and recently fostered a puppy that became a service dog through Dogs For Better Lives. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. I was a solo traveler living the vanlife but am back home helping my folks in Maryland. I love dogs but owning one would radically change my lifestyle. I’m hoping that through Rover I can still have some dog time on the road and take some good boys and girls for adventures outdoors. Primarily I like to do drop-in visit for walks and short training sessions. Once we build a rapport, I’d like to do hikes and overnight adventures.

“Shannon was great with meeting and working with both of my dogs She was serious about doing and keeping to my code words for continuity of training My people- hesitant dogs took to her gentle approach but she was easily able to handle both high energy large dogs with ease I will be hiring her again with confidence”

“Glenn and Diana’s care of my big dog has been such a weight off my shoulders. He has some special needs and they didn’t hesitate to help. Also so appreciative of the questions they ask and how much they care!”

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and gained a lot of experience caring for my own family pets, then started pet sitting and working with horses as a teenager. After spending most of young adult life working with horses, I went back to college to get a degree that would allow me to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I worked in companion animal (dogs and cats) practice for a number of years before taking a "real" job that allowed me more time for my own pets. I've found I love my new job and schedule, but miss having as much animal interaction. I'd be delighted to provide care for your dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs (and other pocket pets) as well as horses and other large animals.
About: I worked as a veterinary reception and received knowledge from our vets on dog/ cat behavior training and administering injections. I have kennel experience and training with special needs in dogs and cats. I’m open and flexible with my schedule whether it’s morning or night. Ready to take care of your magnificent pup or kitty in a safe environment. My cozy apartment is a safe and welcoming space for your pet to relax and play. I also have a super-friendly dog who absolutely loves meeting new friends. For pups or cats that like some quiet time, I'm happy to provide a cozy crate or room area where they can feel secure.

“Jack took our dog for boarding on short notice and sent us pictures periodically showing that he was having a good time. I would definitely bring him for a stay again.”

“Cache was absolutely amazing with our puppy Nala! She sent consistent updates, and Nala seemed to have so much fun when she was there. 1,000,000% would recommend and most definitely will be a repeat client!”

“Thank you Kristen & Mark for a no-worry vacation. Delilah had a wonderful time with her new buddies. I thought for sure that she did not want to come home lol! Seriously, thank you for treating her like your own and giving us peace of mind knowing she was well taken care of! She may need a play date soon.”

“Alyson was wonderful! She was very patient with my dogs, even when they got nervous and peed on her floor. They quickly warmed up to her and her dog, and from the photos she sent, it was obvious they were having a great time. I will definitely rebook with Alyson.”

“Nova and Frank had a blast at Sarah and Aaron's! We met for a meet and greet the week before, and it went great! They have a huge unfenced yard for our e-collar trained pups to run around in. We got plenty of photos of their fetch sessions. We would absolutely have them back there again.”
