About: I’ve taken care of many dog breeds for over 40 years, from walking, bathing, playtime, dogs with medical needs and seniors. Small and large breeds are welcome! I currently work just a few hours a week and my adult, dog loving daughter is always here if I am not. Weekdays and weekends are available for some fun with your fur babies! Your pet is free to roam throughout the house but I have a crate and a 2 room area that can be closed off if needed. I have a large fenced in yard for safety and lots of playtime. Your doggy will be comfortable while vacationing in our home!

About: I have taken care of a wide variety of dogs in all sizes. I have cared short term as well as long term for dogs while my peers were on military deployments. I love to groom dogs as well as be very active with them. I will go on long walks, run, and hikes with your dogs! I do work a full time four day schedule at my current job. I am willing to do walks after work as well as any kind of walk, day care, or boarding from Friday through Monday on my days off. I have a log cabin on 15 acres of land. I have a fenced in portion connected to my house with a dog door. I have two 85 ft tie outs for your dog to run on as well. About: I have owned many dogs over the years plus have over 7 years in the dog rescue business. Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.

I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, fish, and bearded dragons! I also typically only do last minute bookings for clients I’ve worked with previously because they know my standards and I know their pet’s needs - this helps ensure that the client is comfortable with my care, the pet is comfortable with my care, and I am comfortable providing my services. I am available everyday for pet care and at various times. All scheduling details can be discussed further at a meet and greet to ensure you feel comfortable with the care your pet will be receiving :) I have special experience with diabetic animals, deaf animals, and animals with health/behavior needs. “After meeting Mariana, initially we knew we wanted to hire her to help us both in the care of our dog and behavior training to help eliminate some bad habits that were formed as a puppy before he got any older. We knew what needed correcting, but we were struggling to employ specific strategies that would actually help us enjoy our dog more normally. His fearful and bossy ways were confusing to us because he was often a very loving dog and his behaviors seemed contradictory. Upon meeting Mariana and going on this training walk, I was able to watch how she interacted with Sparrow and see very quickly that she was reading his very subtle body language and redirecting or correcting his behaviors before they escalated. Actually understanding WHAT Sparrow was expressing was a game-changer. We left the walk feeling that it might take some work, but understanding animal behavior is crucial to correcting it and it gave us the confidence to feel we could indeed improve Sparrow's manners and eliminate his bad habits. Mariana was very loving to Sparrow and was very good at teaching us what she knows. She displays a genuine sense of gentle compassion towards animals and people, but she also has a firm confidence and a wealth of knowledge about animals!”

About: I’ve taken care of many dog breeds for over 40 years, from walking, bathing, playtime, dogs with medical needs and seniors. Small and large breeds are welcome! I currently work just a few hours a week and my adult, dog loving daughter is always here if I am not. Weekdays and weekends are available for some fun with your fur babies! Your pet is free to roam throughout the house but I have a crate and a 2 room area that can be closed off if needed. I have a large fenced in yard for safety and lots of playtime. Your doggy will be comfortable while vacationing in our home!
