About: I love all animals big and small! I have a variety of experience. I grew up taking care of a Rottweiler and currently have a pit and two cats. I have worked in the past and consistently cared for a deaf and diabetic dog to include administering insulin. I have volunteered at shelters, fostered numerous dogs to include a deaf dog with seizures, interned at a wildlife rehab center for a year, and worked at the Philadelphia Zoo taking care of the goats yard. I worked for 3 years at VIP pet care holding the animals, administering shots , microchips, blood draws and supervising the clinics. I love hiking and anything outdoors so walking your pup would be great for both your pup and myself! 🙂 I’m currently working full time and another part time job so am currently only offering walking services to work around my busy schedule. About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, and with my current flexible, remote job, I am able to work and have time for my passion of watching animals as well! Currently, I have a cattle dog I rescued from Helping Hounds as well as a rough Collie (think Lassie with the long hair!) and a couple cats. I also have a few horses that are boarded off property. I have been caring for animals since my childhood and am well versed in pet and human safety. I even have experience with injectable medicines/insulin for cats and dogs. I took some classes and this one I took at my vet which I was amazed because they taught me how to drain the adrenaline glands and some dogs have a severe issue with that quite often. My dog does! There are classes that you can go in and they will take the time and show you for some things. I like to to participate in these classes so I have knowledge when it comes time to if anything happens. I started dog walking at 12 years old. A long with other jobs of course throughout life. I have been pet sitting for almost 15 years.
