About: My wife introduced me to our first cats over 30 years ago. I grew up not being a cat person but I was quickly converted! We have had 4 cats over the past 30+ years. They were part of the family and that is how we treated them. Our 2 cats we have now are 19 and 17 so rest assured that older cats will be well taken care of.

About: I grew up with cats at home and in almost all of my relatives homes. While in college, I became the go-to cat sitter for friends and family taking extended trips. I've gotten comfortable with many personalities --including the social, fearful, angry, and energetic varieties. I've also dealt with all stages of life from kittens to seniors, and a handful of health problems that come with age. I also have experience giving oral medicine to dogs. My availability is Monday mornings to late Thursday nights. I can stay all day or all night if needed for the pet. I unfortunately can’t do weekends. I am able to take care of cats and dogs, old or young, and give oral medicine if needed. About: I have guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and chickens. I have also had a bearded dragon and rabbits. I am very used to caring for many types of animals and love them all. Have experience with all different ages and many different needs for each pet. They’re our family ! I was a teacher for 12 years in elementary school. About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. About: I have always had dogs since I was about 3 years old. No matter the size or breed, I love caring for 4-legged friends! I currently have 3 dogs, Phoebe, an adult pit mix, Petunia, a young shepherd mix, and Phillip, a Great Pyr/Great Dane mix…all adopted from Austin Pets Alive!. I have specific experience volunteering (walking dogs, cleaning, etc.) at a humane society where the majority of adoptable dogs were larger and of the American Staffordshire Terrier breed. I have also regularly watched my friends' dogs when they have gone on vacations. I believe positive reinforcement goes a long way, particularly with food motivated pooches. I’m available most days and times without issue! I do request as much advance notice as you can provide but am open to same day bookings when my schedule allows. I have a fully fenced yard to provide a secure space if they are coming to my home. I am very comfortable taking them on neighborhood walks if they are comfortable. I only use non-retractable leashes and positive reinforcement (treats and affirmations) to engage with your dog. I’ve taken dog CPR training as well.

About: When I was in middle school, my science teacher went to the Philippines for the whole summer. I took care of her mices, dogs, guinea pigs and more. Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. When I dog sat, I made sure I gave medicine as instructed to the dogs as needed. I played with them, took them hiking, the beach, cuddled on the couch and learned about what they liked and don’t like and what makes them happy. I made sure that their owners were happy as well. When I was asked to come and dog sit again, the dogs would be waiting at the window waiting for my arrival. These dogs were sure happy to see me when I came back to dog sit them! I have plenty of time to play with your pups 🐶I would be available for boarding on the weekends and week days after 4pm. I would be happy to give lots of love and attention/play to your fur babies! I have a fenced yard and have two fur babies who love to socialize. I also love to spoil your dogs too! I work from home twice a week and can pet sit on the weekends as well! Our family loves dogs and since we don’t have one at the moment we’re enjoying spending time with the dogs we dog-sit for! I’m currently a stay at home Mom and home most of the week, so able to walk a dog easily or take it out to the bathroom as needed. I have a large fenced in yard for your dog to enjoy. I live in a suburban neighborhood easy to walk a dog in. I can crate your dog if required.
About: Stories of my childhood include all types of animals. From the labrodor who sat with me in a kiddy pool to the cats who just wouldn't stop having kittens! I'd love to take care of your animal as though they were my own. I began petsitting at sixteen, and was hired during summers by families while they were away on vacation. I've helped my family care for over ten dogs throughout my lifetime, and cared for a cat and a dog in my own household recently. I also have a natural curiosity of animal science which resulted in a few veterinarian training classes during high school. My current job with a non-profit organization allows for flexible hours, and I hope to be able to care for your pets in any way you need! I work and take care of my son from home most of the time. This allows me to give attention to your animals throughout the day as needed! We have a great back yard that I can take your dog on a walk through and plenty of sidewalks around if they need a longer walk.
