About: Peppy Pet Care was launched at the end of 2018 in Ithaca, NY by myself and my animal-loving, entrepreneurial eleven year old daughter. Together we worked to provide outstanding pet sitting services to Ithaca and Lansing pet owners. Beginning in 2021, I started officially working on my own, as my daughter is busy pursuing other interests and activities. I treat pets in my care as I would my own. About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 7 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I'm now a stay at home mom missing my daily dog visits! I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab grey hound mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I'm willing to bathe and groom but it just depends on your dogs hair and size because I do not have a grooming area set up yet in my home, but I'm willing to talk about it! I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

About: I’ve owned cats my entire life. There's no better feeling than having a cat curled up purring on your lap. My current cat is a senior tortie named Queen that I adopted from the SPCA. Animal rescue is my of biggest passion. When I was growing up, my mother fostered many cats and kittens for the SPCA. That is where my love of cats started; helping her take care of the fosters as a child. I'm well versed in reading body language through their tail and ears. I have lots of experience with senior cats with health conditions. I’m very familiar with managing pet prescriptions and special diets. I'm comfortable administering medications if needed. About: My very first pet of my own is my beautiful calico cat, Nala. I love her beyond words and I would treat your fur baby just how I would want someone to care for mine! I have been cat sitting for over 10 years, as one of my very first jobs was watching my neighbors cat while they were on vacation. About: Ive walked dogs for many years from my own dog to friends or families! I have a love for dogs and enjoy spending time with your furry friends! I am available all day on Tuesday and Wednesdays as well as Thursday to Monday before 4pm. I can walk in the mornings and afternoons. I am also able to do overnights if needed. I lost my cat two years ago to old age and cancer. Although I haven't welcomes a new pet of my own into the home I gave birth to Twin girls! They are now 16 months and LOVE visiting with your animals. Sometimes they come with me for walks or drop ins as long as a meet and greet happens where I see a positive interaction between your animal and my babies. If it's not a good match then I either don't have the girls with me or for wont take the boarding request as they live with me full time.

About: I am just starting to my fourth career, playing with your companion. I recently retired from teaching sustainable development at UAlbany. I now spend my days outside with hairy friend Herman. I picked up my first stray, Bandit, at 9. I have had a at least one dog since then, I am now 63. All from shelters or strays. I also did doggie foster care too. Known to be gentle and friend of the furry ones. I start each day with a morning meander across the 25 acres on a dead end road. Your companion will be well exercised, loved and cared for as long as they get along with my 14 year old hairy friend Herman, who lets cats eat from his dishes. He runs the place when it comes to house rules. He does not have viscous bone in his body. After three careers and global travel I am recently retired. My days are spent gardening, walking, sitting on the porch, listening to music, etc. I am rarely gone more than a few hours as Herman, my four legged friend, needs special care at 14 years old. I am typically up before dawn, no dog or alarm necessary. My day typically begins with me waking predawn and greeting the new day with my hound Herman on the 25 acres we cohabitate. Most is abandoned agriculture returning to forest for 35 plus years that is bisected by a small babbling brook. Breakfast is then served before returning outside. In climate weather I am outside more than 70% of my day outside. At 14 he chooses to stay in sometimes. Your companion will be free to make their own choice too. My life ambition is to nurture life. I have cared for pets since I was born as my family had cats. There is a fenced area that includes four shaded area. There will be plenty of water, including a baby pool for play as well as sprinklers. This area is shares two fences lines with my garden, has direct access to a walk out basement, and is fully visible from my porch. The dogs will have near 24/7 personal attention and care. I live sustainably. There are no chemicals in my lawn or garden. I have an enclosed porch that in the summer is open air, but no steps to escape. Only with your permission would I walk a guest off leash. Before walking them off leash I will need feel 100% confident they respond to command when other distractions are present. Again with your permission I would take your friend to a fenced in dog park visit as a trial run. Herman, my housemate, is a happy healthy 14 year old he is my best reference. He also has final word on all guest of all species. About an 1/2 acre is fenced with direct access from the house through the basement door. It includes shaded doggie lounges, a baby pool in the summer, toys galore, and lots of attention as the space is adjacent to my garden and the covered porch. It has the capacity to be divided if unruly dog needs to be isolated or there are little ones that just need time away from the bigger ones. Indoors, dogs are free to roam in the basement and first floor. If they are cage trained I can accommodate that. The two beds are off limits. To prevent misunderstanding with bed loving dogs I will keep my guest room. Both the porch and the living room couches are fine. Little ones may use chairs too. The house is really set up for Herman’s comfort and safety. The 32x10 covered front porch is a favorite of Herman and all his visiting friends. Your hairy friend will be delighted by this feature too. One more thing, the hardwood floors are currently covered in rubber “yoga mats” as Herman can not cope with slippery floors. There are also many large dog beds that Herman is happy to share. Opps, where are our manners; welcome to our slice of Paradise!😊

About: I am a lifelong rescuer of dogs and cats...I have raised puppies, adopted senior dogs, and adopted six dogs from shelters in the last 25 years. Most of my dogs and I had basic training classes together. I love walking dogs, playing with them, and caring for them in general...and i am excellent at bathing and medicating pups of all ages....even the reluctant ones! I like to be outdoors, so I am happy to walk and play with the dogs in my care outside at least 3 times a day.. I work from home, so I am generally available, weekdays and weekends. About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.

About: I am a lover of all pets and have experience ranging from stopping by for bathroom breaks/feeding to overnight house sitting. I have been relied on to walk, feed, and give medication to cats and dogs. I am comfortable with all size pets. I am a young adult with no children and work 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday. I am able to work from home once and month and around the holidays from September to mid-May. I work from home once a week in the summer months. I am also able to leave for lunch so I can easily pop over on my lunch break. After work, I usually just relax and go to the gym so, I would love to be accompanied by your pet! Unfortunately, someone in my household has a pet allergy, but I am more than to stay at the caregiver’s home where the pet is more comfortable. I will follow and comply to any care instructions. I respect others’ spaces and belongings and will leave your home exactly as you left it, if not cleaner (I love cleaning). I have been trusted in others home’s before and understand the significance of that trust. My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away and I am happy to accommodate all needs to do so! I love cuddles and will play with them. About: I am just starting to my fourth career, playing with your companion. I recently retired from teaching sustainable development at UAlbany. I now spend my days outside with hairy friend Herman. I picked up my first stray, Bandit, at 9. I have had a at least one dog since then, I am now 63. All from shelters or strays. I also did doggie foster care too. Known to be gentle and friend of the furry ones. I start each day with a morning meander across the 25 acres on a dead end road. Your companion will be well exercised, loved and cared for as long as they get along with my 14 year old hairy friend Herman, who lets cats eat from his dishes. He runs the place when it comes to house rules. He does not have viscous bone in his body. After three careers and global travel I am recently retired. My days are spent gardening, walking, sitting on the porch, listening to music, etc. I am rarely gone more than a few hours as Herman, my four legged friend, needs special care at 14 years old. I am typically up before dawn, no dog or alarm necessary. My day typically begins with me waking predawn and greeting the new day with my hound Herman on the 25 acres we cohabitate. Most is abandoned agriculture returning to forest for 35 plus years that is bisected by a small babbling brook. Breakfast is then served before returning outside. In climate weather I am outside more than 70% of my day outside. At 14 he chooses to stay in sometimes. Your companion will be free to make their own choice too. My life ambition is to nurture life. I have cared for pets since I was born as my family had cats. There is a fenced area that includes four shaded area. There will be plenty of water, including a baby pool for play as well as sprinklers. This area is shares two fences lines with my garden, has direct access to a walk out basement, and is fully visible from my porch. The dogs will have near 24/7 personal attention and care. I live sustainably. There are no chemicals in my lawn or garden. I have an enclosed porch that in the summer is open air, but no steps to escape. Only with your permission would I walk a guest off leash. Before walking them off leash I will need feel 100% confident they respond to command when other distractions are present. Again with your permission I would take your friend to a fenced in dog park visit as a trial run. Herman, my housemate, is a happy healthy 14 year old he is my best reference. He also has final word on all guest of all species. About an 1/2 acre is fenced with direct access from the house through the basement door. It includes shaded doggie lounges, a baby pool in the summer, toys galore, and lots of attention as the space is adjacent to my garden and the covered porch. It has the capacity to be divided if unruly dog needs to be isolated or there are little ones that just need time away from the bigger ones. Indoors, dogs are free to roam in the basement and first floor. If they are cage trained I can accommodate that. The two beds are off limits. To prevent misunderstanding with bed loving dogs I will keep my guest room. Both the porch and the living room couches are fine. Little ones may use chairs too. The house is really set up for Herman’s comfort and safety. The 32x10 covered front porch is a favorite of Herman and all his visiting friends. Your hairy friend will be delighted by this feature too. One more thing, the hardwood floors are currently covered in rubber “yoga mats” as Herman can not cope with slippery floors. There are also many large dog beds that Herman is happy to share. Opps, where are our manners; welcome to our slice of Paradise!😊
