We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. About: I have been a in-home pet sitter for the past six years for a medium size dog who had special needs as a puppy. I also am a pet photographer and have done pet portraits and holiday cards! About: Hi! I’m Fiona, a lifelong dog lover and rescue dog mom. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 11, when my family got our first dog, who was part of our family for 11 years. Since then, I’ve continued dog sitting and walking for neighbors, friends, and family, and now have a rescue pup of my own. I have experience caring for dogs of all different sizes and personalities, from small breeds like Dachshunds to medium-sized mixed breeds and larger dogs, including Labs and Pit Bulls up to 90 lbs. My own rescue can be timid and cautious around new people, so I understand firsthand that every dog has their own personality, boundaries, and comfort level. When I’m working remotely, I’m available all day. On the days I work in the office, I am available in the evening Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your care instructions and routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and any specific household or safety guidelines. During walks, I’ll always keep dogs securely leashed and remain attentive to their surroundings. About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 25 years and currently have two wonderful Goldendoodles, mom and daughter.
