About: I have two boy cats and one of them has experienced kidney stones. My family has had dogs who live long lives and with old age experience health issues. I have had to administer liquid and pill medicine many times to both cats and dogs. I maintain litter boxes daily and I always spoil my boys with the best food toys and treats. Enrichment is so important for all animals. I also know how to fend off food fiends. Playtime is my favorite time I try to mix things up and provide something new for them to experience every day. I am also great with mediating relationships between cats and dogs.

About: I have 4 years of veterinary care experience along with 2 years of pet boarding experience. I own and care for several of my own animals as well! I am currently available for afternoon visits and care on week days. I have full availability on the weekends for any needs! I can also do midday pop in’s depending on location! I have 1 very friendly dog who does amazing with other animals but if your pet isn’t a fan I always have another safe space for them. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard therefore your pet will always be leashed for their safety. I will ensure we do lots of walks and playing to get their exercise!

About: I have had 5 different dogs of my own throughout my life and sat for dozens of other dogs of all ages and sizes as well! I have experience with dogs as young as 8 weeks old and as old as 12 years old, and I currently still have 2 large breed dogs I take of care of, too! I actively volunteer at my local animal shelters and am pursuing a degree in Zoology to turn my love for animals into a career! I’m currently a student athlete at SUNY Oswego. I work on campus for campus rec, therefore I may be unavailable for a few hours some days, but as a student athlete I have great time management! I have a large fenced yard with a kiddy pool that my dogs love to play in outside. On cooler days I enjoy taking my younger two dogs hiking and enrichment toys even with my older dogs. Senior dogs need love too, I'll be patient and we can take a nice and easy stroll or take a little car ride! Speaking of, I have room in my subaru for any transportation your pup may ever need (including a doggy seatbelt). Overall, I'm flexible and want to help you and your pup have a happy life! I am currently employed but my schedule is very inconsistent at this time so reach out for availability checks and I can work with you! I'm very flexible in my scheduling. Right now I do not have the capacity for boarding or keeping any dogs besides my own at my current residence. Here we have a large yard with room for our pups to run and their recall work has been going well. Dogs can be on the furniture minus the kitchen table! We also have a large basement with room to run there too. In your home, I follow your rules and will respect your privacy. Please inform me of any specific requirements in your home or anything I should be aware of. I will act professionally and respectfully, just like I would ask someone if they were entering my home. “After meeting Mariana, initially we knew we wanted to hire her to help us both in the care of our dog and behavior training to help eliminate some bad habits that were formed as a puppy before he got any older. We knew what needed correcting, but we were struggling to employ specific strategies that would actually help us enjoy our dog more normally. His fearful and bossy ways were confusing to us because he was often a very loving dog and his behaviors seemed contradictory. Upon meeting Mariana and going on this training walk, I was able to watch how she interacted with Sparrow and see very quickly that she was reading his very subtle body language and redirecting or correcting his behaviors before they escalated. Actually understanding WHAT Sparrow was expressing was a game-changer. We left the walk feeling that it might take some work, but understanding animal behavior is crucial to correcting it and it gave us the confidence to feel we could indeed improve Sparrow's manners and eliminate his bad habits. Mariana was very loving to Sparrow and was very good at teaching us what she knows. She displays a genuine sense of gentle compassion towards animals and people, but she also has a firm confidence and a wealth of knowledge about animals!”

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. About: I have 4 years of veterinary care experience along with 2 years of pet boarding experience. I own and care for several of my own animals as well! I am currently available for afternoon visits and care on week days. I have full availability on the weekends for any needs! I can also do midday pop in’s depending on location! I have 1 very friendly dog who does amazing with other animals but if your pet isn’t a fan I always have another safe space for them. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard therefore your pet will always be leashed for their safety. I will ensure we do lots of walks and playing to get their exercise!
