“From the first meeting, I knew our dog would be in great hands. Teresa understood the needs of my crazy Lab, and he responded to her instantly. The small setting with the nice fenced in area for play was what he needed while we were away. The kennel is clean and warm, and he had good company with other dogs. Contact and communication was perfect. We missed him, but we were never worried. She knows her stuff. I know our dog will be more than happy to return to this retreat!”

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. About: I have two boy cats and one of them has experienced kidney stones. I have had to administer liquid and pill medicine many times. I maintain litter boxes daily and I always spoil my boys with the best food toys and treats. I also know how to fend off food fiends. Animals are a huge part of my life and bring me so much joy. In my opinion, there is no better job than that of animal caretaking. I am always open to any job that needs to be done. I have house/pet sat the majority of my side career and have found my customers to be very satisfied in the end. I even farm sit (horses, goats, sheep, etc) and and can do all the feeding, mucking, turning out and turning in! About: I started longer-term overnight dog sitting about three years ago. I do frequent daytime potty breaks for friends when they are out of town. I have watched cats as well. I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years and I enjoy both cat and dog snuggles. Not currently working much, schedule is flexible which is ideal for your puppies that may need potty breaks while you are at work during the day or away on weekends. Unfortunately, I will only go to the clients home. I will not bring other animals into my house. I do own a cat and this is something my husband and I have agreed on.

I own my house and know the anxiety of leaving someone you don’t know in your home wondering what your home will look like when you get back. About: I've had a love of animals ever since i can remember. Growing up we always had a dog as part of the family along with a multitude of other pets and I can't imagine it any other way. I've raised dogs from puppies and loved them until their last breath. I have puppy pads available for those who are not yet trained and those who have lost their ability to tell you when they need to go. I am a Registered Nurse and am very familiar with giving not only oral and topical medications but injections as well. I also have an amazing vet I've been going to for over 15 years, literally within minutes from my house just in case the unexpected happens. I have watched multiple dogs for family and friends over the years and I've also fostered/rescued and re-homed over 7 dogs in the last 20 years some of whom came to me in pretty rough shape and I cared for them until they reached their full potential and were ready to be loved by another family. If i could have kept them all I would have but I had to make room for the next fur baby in need. I currently work full-time as a RN but have the opportunity to work from home on a regular basis. My animals are never left home alone for an extended period of time. I also have a large cages with lots of clean blankets for boarders to be put in for a short amount of time if need be.
About: I've cared for all kinds of animals since I was 7 or 8 years old. I myself currently own and have always owned multiple kids of animals and I love them all the same! About: The last few years I've provided an array of services for dog sitting, walking, weekly stays and occasionally drop in visits. From Danes to Chihuahua's I'm certain I can give your pup the love, patience, care and energy (high or low depending on the pup) that they need to live happy, comfortable and confident lives. I've taken care of an array of animals since I was a kid from hamsters to dogs to little frogs! I currently have a 2.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who I've worked with through several training classes. I'm happy to help and follow through with current trainings you are working with your pup on while I interact with them. I'm able to remove ticks and have a first aid kit always on had and a base medicinal understanding and can administer medication if needed. I'm also doggy and human first aid certified (American Red Cross). If your pup is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and well socialized (or needs a little nudge and isnt aggressive or reactive) I'd be happy to take them to a dog park with or without my pup Luna. Does your dog have a special diet? Bon appetit, I'll be sure to get them their right food at the right time! Senior dogs need love too, I'll be patient and we can take a nice and easy stroll or take a little car ride! Speaking of, I have room in my subaru for any transportation your pup may ever need (including a doggy seatbelt). Overall, I'm flexible and want to help you and your pup have a happy life! I am currently employed but my schedule is very inconsistent at this time so reach out for availability checks and I can work with you! I'm very flexible in my scheduling. Right now I do not have the capacity for boarding or keeping any dogs besides my own at my current residence. Here we have a large yard with room for our pups to run and their recall work has been going well. Dogs can be on the furniture minus the kitchen table! We also have a large basement with room to run there too. In your home, I follow your rules and will respect your privacy. If you require an overnight stay during the week, I ask that you drop them off 5:30pm or later and are able to pick them up in the morning by 7:45am. We live on 4 acres of land (unfenced) in a rural setting. I have one, unneutered, one year old male golden retriever, who LOVES making new friends. He has been socialized with many other dogs at doggy daycare and plays well with others (humans and pets alike). We have a gated sunroom which has a 42 inch crate if needed. About: I started longer-term overnight dog sitting about three years ago. I do frequent daytime potty breaks for friends when they are out of town. I have watched cats as well. I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years and I enjoy both cat and dog snuggles. Not currently working much, schedule is flexible which is ideal for your puppies that may need potty breaks while you are at work during the day or away on weekends. Unfortunately, I will only go to the clients home. I will not bring other animals into my house. I do own a cat and this is something my husband and I have agreed on.

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for.
