About: I’m a 33 year old retired dog groomer and ran large grooming salons in the Pittsburgh area as well as here in New York for a total of 10 years. Was also a kennel boarding assistant as well as a vet assistant for a mobile vaccine clinic serving Niagara Falls, Watertown, Rochester and other areas. I have had everything from chihuahuas to Rottweilers and pit bulls. I treat pets like my children and love all shapes and sizes and able to provide medication as well as any other special need requests. I know basic first aid but I do not have pet CPR certification. I also have plenty of references and client feedback if needed to ensure you get the care your pet needs and deserves. About: Hello! I grew up on a farm where we had plenty of dogs and cats and your basic farm animals. I have trained and taken care of all different types of breeds. I have had English bulldogs to labs to Dobermans. I have gone to dog training classes and have experience with puppies and older dogs. My senior English bulldog passed away and I am not in a position to have a puppy full time. So I would love some animals around the house to keep my company! The days I’m available are when I’m off work and spend most my time at home on these days. Therefore I can fully take care of them, play with them and train if needed. Well in my home I have a fenced in back yard, but I would still watch and hang out with them if that’s where they wanted to be. I would take the animals on walks as directed by the owner. I live in a very safe area with families and it’s a fun neighborhood to walk around in. At both the owners and my home I would make sure the dogs always have water unless otherwise directed- this is very important especially in hot climates like CA.

About: I have had cats and dogs growing up. I would play fetch with my dogs all the time and just hang with my cats watching TV I work full time at a hospital but I do get Tuesdays off every week and don't work ever other weekend and every other friday With living in town I do leash my dogs when she does come down from my mom's. I do also put my cats in a backpack when going for walks
“Richard cared for our 16 year old cat that has chronic health issues. Our cat takes several medications twice a day and eats a prescription diet. He did a great job, was very responsive, responsible and would contact me if he had a question. We felt like we left our cat and home in good hands. I will hire Richard again in the future when we need someone to look after our cat.”
About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was four years old. I’m the go to dog sitter for friends and family. I care for all breeds and sizes but have a true weakness for sweet sugar faced senior babes. I am free most weekdays during the day if your work schedule requires some extra help to accommodate your fur baby’s needs. Evenings are also possible, I look forward to meeting your fur babies! About: I've been around animals my entire life. I had 2 dogs and a cockatiel growing up that I helped care for. I have personally owned dogs, rats, fish, rabbits, chickens and ducks. I also used to foster small animals for a local rescue and have found fantastic homes for over 50 small animals. In regards to caring for pets in your own home I follow any directions you give me for food/treat schedules, how often they need to go outside, things your pets can and cannot do, etc.

I have worked in the veterinary field since 2021; receptionist, boarding team, assistant, and manager. I am certified to do therapy exercises with dogs and similar pets. I have experience with medically complex/special needs pets. One of my current dogs are dog-selective and I have had fear-free training, which makes me comfortable with animals who need behavioral accommodations. I am comfortable medicating pets (oral, topical, and injectable). I do work full time, but when ever I am not at work and I am able to take care of more animals I will! As long as our schedules match I can care for your pet. I do not have the ability to care for pets in my house. But in your home I can follow any rules/schedules to make sure your pet is comfortable, medically taken care of, and happy! I am comfortable using the following tools: crates, harness, gentle leaders, prong collars, training collars, and different procedures required for medication administration.

About: I have had dogs of every shape, size and disposition for 50 years. I have been fostering rescue dogs for 20 years. I don’t think I will ever not have a dog in my life. I am retired so home pretty much 24/7. I have 2 dogs of my own so am available anytime. I enjoy gardening so prefer to be home. I have a fenced yard with doggie door. I walk the dogs beside giving them free rein in house and yard. I have numerous doggie beds for their comfort along with furniture to sleep on!

About: Growing up I always had a family dog. More recently, I have taken care of many friends and family member's dogs over the years. Now I wanted to take that further and help out more people when they need their fur babies taken care of. I am a teacher so availability changes based on the season, but if I am able to help, I will! I am a teacher, so during the summer, I am off of work besides a few days I pick up shifts for school. During the school year, my schedule will obviously change but currently have a good amount of availability. I do have a fenced in back yard which is very helpful for pets. For going to a clients house I do want to make sure that the area is safe. The dog is on a leash before going outside and knowing the kind of dog and the dog's needs.

About: Albeit having no years of 'professional' caring, I have been a dog and cat mom all of my life. Since I was born my family has had 2-3 dogs and 5-6 cats at a time on our farm, and I raised, trained and took care of all of them myself since my parents were not too big on animals. The sole reason we had so many is because we lived on a farm and I adored them. Every year of my life I have cared for at least one animal or another, ever since I was in grade school. For cats and dogs alike, I myself used to bathe them, feed them, groom them and take them to the vet if they were sick. As of right now, I have no animals to look after, so I would love to put those skills to good use. This being said, I have ample experience with animals, and I adore them. I have babysat animals for my friends several times, always without incident. I understand their signs and needs, have plenty of patience and can be gentle but firm when needed. I treat them as if they were my own children. I am also a trained emergency service medical provider, so I know how to perform first aid and lifesaving measures if need be (not that it will ever be needed, don't worry!). I am flexible with the services I provide: if your pet has any special needs/medications that they need to take/any sicknesses, or anything else, inform me and I will be happy to babysit for them and care for them for as long as you need! Some of the services I can provide include but are not limited to: bathing, walking, training, and cuddling! I will treat your babies with love and kindness while you're away! Rest assured, they will be in good, trained hands. I currently work from home, and would have no problem going on walks or playing games such as fetch to tire out high energy dogs! I already have a daily routine with my own dog, which consists of taking him on regular potty breaks, brushing his teeth, and playing games to tire him out if its too cold to go on walks outside! We have a yard thats not fenced in, but have lines and long leashes to take your fur baby outside! There is one senior dog, one younger dog, and to cats all to give company to your pet! Both dogs are very friendly, and the cats mostly keep to themselves in the room. The dogs will always be in my sight, so that we can hang out, play, and I can tend to their needs! There are plenty of toys to share, plenty of treats to go around (unless stated otherwise) and plenty of friends to play with.
About: I have raised and cared for my families dogs as well as my own personal pets since I was a child. From puppy days to senior life, I have experienced it all and have enjoyed every moment of it. For me, having dogs around is a must! I currently work 4 days a week at a brewery in Rochester. I am available for walks and check-ins Tuesday/Wed all day, Thursday-Friday 8am-11am. Sunday's are open and negotiable as well! I enjoy spending time outside (park, trails, yard) with the active dogs, and talked to/petting the lazy/sleepy ones while they lounge inside. About: Growing up I’ve always had a pet, whether it was a dog, cat, reptile, hamster, bunny, etc. The past experience I have is from ages 10 weeks-12 years old. I’m up for any task and have no trouble walking dogs who pull. I use a harness for one of my pups and he is always comfortable walking with me. I currently work full-time but have a flexible schedule. I have two dogs of my own but have help with them. Can always adjust schedule as needed.
