About: I love animals and have been caring for pets for over 10 years! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, puppies, cats, and very young kittens. About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have just completed my first year of Veterinary Technician school and have done 3 different internships in the field. About: I have been cat sitting (both overnight and drop-in visits) for the last few years. I am comfortable with cats who want to be around me 24/7, cats that want me to be as far away as possible, and everything in-between! Recently I have been doing a lot of overnight stays to watch an elderly cat because she gets sick when she gets lonely, and I love my time with her. At my current job I have gained incredibly valuable experience caring for elderly cats who need to receive a litany of medication. I feel comfortable giving cats liquid medications and tablets/capsules orally if the patient will not take it inside of food. I understand that as loving and sweet as our pets are, no one likes taking a bitter medication and I never hold it against them if they're not thrilled about it. I am competent in the towel wrap method too.

If you bring your pet to my house they will be treated like one of my family members! I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30-4, but my husband works from home and I am home all day during the weekends. About: I have been a Vet assistant for almost 2 years and on the road to becoming a technician. I have also taken a 2 year small animal science program. I am fear free certified along with CPR in animals. I have a bunch of experience working with animals, and am comfortable giving medication or whatever care they may need!
