About: I have always been a pet person. I’ve lived my whole life always having a pet. Whether that’s dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, or even fish! I love all animals and have even done wildlife rehab rescues. I’ve had experience dog sitting as well as dog walking. I know that every dog is different so I adjust to every pets needs, no two dogs are the same and every one is special in their own way :) Weekdays i'm available in the afternoons till however late is necessary. About: I have over 20 years of experience taking care of dogs. I have owned dogs for the past 16 years straight, the last 10 years with two dogs. I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs (from chihuahua to Great Dane) and connect easily with them. After all, I am a dog myself (per the Chinese Zodiac!) Currently I have two rescue dogs: A special needs (epilepsy) Healer/Aussie Shepherd mix named Ace and a senior Supermutt named Maisie. We lost our senior Boston Terrier in early 2023 due to Cushings and Cancer. So, I have experience taking care of dogs from puppy through hospice. Medications and special food needs are no problem. NOTE: As I have two dogs of my own.....if your dog is not well socialized and does not get along with all other dogs, big and small, or has a history of aggressive behavior, please do not put in a "Boarding" booking request. Socialized, friendly dogs only, please. No excessive whiners or barkers and dogs must weigh 35 lbs or less. Thank you! Reliable, Responsible, Mature. I'm currently retired so am able to spend all of my time caring for my animals (and yours). The most i'll ever leave the house for is 2-3 hours for an appointment, but this is rare. We start our days with breakfast at 7am, take a morning hike in the woods or trails or town. Then some relax time at home before lunch and a 1pm neighborhood walk. Then more home time and play or naps until our 4pm hike. Then dinner at 5. All meal times adjustable for your dog's needs. I am able to be home 99% of the time so am always able to focus on the pets needs. I have been an animal lover my whole life and care deeply about the health and well being of animals in my care or under my stewardship. We live close to many hiking trails and nature preserves so the dogs always get plenty of sniff walks and exercise and socialization. Always on leash and always careful of meeting unknown dogs that may be receptive. I'm pretty good at sussing out a dog's behavior signals, if we should meet or not, after so many years.

About: Hi all! My name is Lily, and I am finishing up a marine studies degree with an anthropology minor. The things I love the most in the world are animals and children. Most of my previous jobs have been babysitting as well as house and petsitting. For petsitting, I had stayed the night with cats and dogs, just stopped in for feedings, litter box changes, walks, and anything else that could be needed! I have also worked five summers as a camp counselor. After two summers at a regular camp, I got hired to work as a counselor at a nature center near my home town. “This was the first time our 2 girls Juniper and Honey have ever stayed overnight anywhere since we rescued them 5 years ago. We felt confident having Carolina watching our girls. Prior to their stay we did a meet and greet. Carolina has a very calm demeanor, and we were very confident that the girls would be comfortable in her home. She sent us pictures and gave us updates of how they were doing, which was nice. When we picked them up they were very happy, so we'll definitely be using her services again.”

“Lauryn is amazing. I had an emergency out of town and had to book her last minute. Not only was she welcoming to my two pooches, she treated them like her own. I wasn't sure of my return date and had to keep extended her services. She was understanding and gracious, also putting other fears at ease with staying well communicated and sending me updates with pics of my dogs. She truly understands they are like family. I highly recommend her!”

He and his family provided an extraordinarily safe, comfortable, clean, calm, and accommodating setting within their luxurious spotless residence and property nestled within a quiet and exclusive neighborhood far from heavy traffic and any other threatening exposures. New City is well known for low crime and safety thanks to it's most reliable law enforcement and emergency services. My opinion is that I found the perfect match for any cat or dog and I will choose Michaei for my future pet boarding needs hands down.”
