About: i’m going into my second year of college pursuing a degree in science and mathematics. my goal is to have a career in wildlife rehabilitation or veterinary care. i also have experience within EMS & firefighting as i’ve been a volunteer since 16. i’ve always loved animals of any kind and have been in aw by my own pets. i have 2 cats and 2 dogs, but currently live with only my senior cat (i brought her along with me for college). shes very specific but i make sure to keep up on her needs and do whatever i can for my baby. i live in a smaller sized apartment so I don’t currently have my dogs living with me, but since being away i miss being around them. soon i will be an intern at a zoo for animal care so i’m really looking forward to this opportunity! i love looking after family and friends pets, everytime I just feel as joyous as can be. I would love to start taking care of more pets within my community and gain more experience! __________________________________________ little side note: i allow my pets on my bed and couch with me all the time, just for some reason I wasn’t sure how to edit that off my profile lol so just know your pet is more than welcome 👌 i’m currently on summer break working a part time job, but have a flexible schedule. i like to go outside to parks, find good places to hike, and staying active. with bookings i will make sure to keep myself available or work with your schedule, whether that be for mornings, evenings, or even overnight. i’m also available the weekends. once school begins i will still be able to remain flexible. my senior cat sofia is specific with her needs, whether that’s the food she eats, the places she sleeps, or the litter i get. whatever her needs may be, whether she likes her hard food or gets sick of and only wants wet food, i make sure to listen. when she’s having a stomach ache or under the weather, i’m alerted and get her the best care i can provide. when it comes to family or friends animals like their dogs i like to spend a lot of time with them outside, taking them to parks, and even to hike depending on the kind of dog and their energy level. for clients i’ll ensure to keep them updated on their pets and if their were special instructions on how they want their pet to be treated i will do my best to make sure they are safe and well cared for.

“This was my first time using Rover and I was very nervous with leaving my pup with someone I didn't know. From the beginning, Angel was very reassuring and comforting. She was available to answer all my questions and I could tell she knew what she was doing. During Wyatt's stay, Angel sent me plenty of updates, pics, and cute videos of her dogs playing with my Wyatt. I loved that Angel had a great setup and knew how to introduce my dog to hers. I especially loved that Wyatt got to use all his energy by playing and interacting with Angel's dogs. From the pics I could tell he was having a BLAST, to say the least. Wyatt will be coming back. About: I’m missing my best friend of 13 years! For my 10th birthday I adopted a labradoodle puppy and was her main caregiver. I trained her and took her on long walks in Green Lakes State Park in Upstate NY (my hometown) her whole life. Now, I have a hole in my heart and would love to fill it with some new energy. I just started my new job as a Coastal Resiliency Planner and Environmental Engineer after graduate school in Europe for three years. Now I could use an excuse to exercise everyday! I have a long history of feeding, picking up poop, and giving medication as my dog got older. I can handle a strong dog on a walk, but also love setting them off leash in open areas (case by case basis).

Gypsy is a rescue who has severe separation anxiety and this was her first time at a sitter and staying with someone other than my family - who she is around frequently. Rebecca made sure she was settled down a bit and that I was comfortable before leaving for the day. She asked me questions about Gypsy's care and background to make sure she understood her needs and how best to care for her. Gypsy was incredibly skittish at first and I was nervous it was not going to work out. However, Rebecca was up for the challenge and slowly introduced Gypsy to the other dogs so as not to overwhelm her more than she already was, being in a new place, and make sure they all got along well. Throughout the day I received pictures of Gypsy which further reassured me of how well Rebecca worked with her. The pictures made it very obvious that Gypsy had calmed down and was enjoying playing with friends and her stay. Rebecca has a large fenced outdoor space for the pups to run and play, and when I picked Gypsy up that afternoon I could tell she had done quite a bit of that! She came home and was tired out that evening. I am very happy to have found someone that I know I can trust with her care when needed.”

“Jenna and her husband were great. They worked around my crazy schedule to get my pup out there, and we're more than accommodating when I asked to pick him up early because I missed him! The house was a nice space and well kept, and the yard was a super nice large space for the boys to rhomp. They were both really friendly and great with my pup, making my feel as ease to leave him with them. And their pup and mine got along really well, so that was a bonus that he had a buddy for the week! It was also really nice that I got pictures all week of the boys playing and chilling together. All around excellent experience, I can't say enough good things to say how pleased I was with everything. I would certainly look Jenna up again to sit for my pup! Thank you!!”
