“One of the big reason why I decided to go with Arya for my 3 year old Lab, Bubbles, is the way he explicitly explained about the expectations and facts, how we as customers should expect him to host. Hosting a pup may be easy but understanding the psyche, taking measures to ensure all dogs are safe needs skills and that sets Arya apart. Few weeks before hosting, I took Bubbles for a meet and greet, only with Arya. He introduced Enzo and Igor to me as well, but, only after Bubbles was in the car. It gave me a wonderful feeling how much he cared about not just his pups but mine too. The stay- Arya is a brilliant and talented host and has been updating me with many videos and pictures about the walks, food and stays. He diligently walked Bubbles everyday. As Bubbles is a black lab, he was being mindful of the heat and took him out for walks at night. I was impressed how much he cares and loves the pups he is boarding. Overall it was a great experience and I am sure Bubbles will love to spend more time with Arya. I would highly recommend Arya for your pups. I have already decided to go with Arya and use his services henceforth.”

About: Pet care found ME... I did not find it. After cuddling with random dogs I'd meet on the street my whole life, someone finally asked me "Why don't you take care of pets professionally?" And thus a career was born (which I've adored ever since). I owned my own pet care company for over 15 years while living in NYC and NJ. Now, I’m based in Ithaca, and look forward to taking care of your fur baby! I am not working full time and have plenty of downtime. Thus, my schedule is super flexible and easily adjustable to your pet care needs! I treat all pets as if they were my own. I had a chow chow for many years, which was a member of our family and that is how I view ALL animals. I have 4 kids(1-16) so the dog must be good with small children. I do work during the week. Someone is home during the summer and school breaks. About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). About: I have grown up around dogs, specifically seniors who are on medication or are insulin dependant. I have experience with training as well, having trained my own service dog who went to college with me. About: Hi, I'm Coleman! By day, I research global catastrophic risks but my most important job? Making sure your dog is taken care of as well as absolutely possible! I've spent 8 years walking, sitting, and caring for pets of every temperament — anxious rescues, high-energy huskies, suspicious cats who take three days to warm up to anyone. Animals have always been my reset button from heavy intellectual work, and I bring that same obsessive attention to detail to every pet in my care. As a Cornell researcher and lifelong animal lover, I treat your pet the way I'd want the world's most conscientious person to treat them — with patience, structure, genuine affection, and no shortcuts. Your dog can't interview their sitter. But you can. I'm an open book. My schedule is extremely flexible! From early morning walks to long weekend (or more!) long house stays, I can make most any schedule work for my clients! I treat the animals I watch with care, considerations, and importantly with plenty of affection. But I also recognize every animal is unique and requires an individual approach, so I strive to interact with any pets, new or old, familiar or not, big or small, with the care they deserve!

“Destiny took such good care of my Opie. Her home environment seemed comforting/spacious for him and she made sure he got multiple walks a day. She sent lots of pictures, little updates, and made sure to ask questions about behaviors she wasn't sure about.”
“One of the big reason why I decided to go with Arya for my 3 year old Lab, Bubbles, is the way he explicitly explained about the expectations and facts, how we as customers should expect him to host. Hosting a pup may be easy but understanding the psyche, taking measures to ensure all dogs are safe needs skills and that sets Arya apart. Few weeks before hosting, I took Bubbles for a meet and greet, only with Arya. He introduced Enzo and Igor to me as well, but, only after Bubbles was in the car. It gave me a wonderful feeling how much he cared about not just his pups but mine too. The stay- Arya is a brilliant and talented host and has been updating me with many videos and pictures about the walks, food and stays. He diligently walked Bubbles everyday. As Bubbles is a black lab, he was being mindful of the heat and took him out for walks at night. I was impressed how much he cares and loves the pups he is boarding. Overall it was a great experience and I am sure Bubbles will love to spend more time with Arya. I would highly recommend Arya for your pups. I have already decided to go with Arya and use his services henceforth.”

“I wish there were an option to leave more than five stars, because Georgia and her dog Wilma went so above and beyond. I had to find a last minute sitter over the holiday weekend, which, without Georgia's responsiveness and flexibility, would have been next to impossible. When I dropped my dog off, I could tell immediately that she was going to have an amazing time. Georgia sent lots of updates while I was away, which was much appreciated. Normally when I pick up my dog after a couple of days away, she's overjoyed to go back home, but this time, she actually seemed bummed to be leaving her new bff Wilma!”
