“Hands down Anna is THE BEST dogsitter I’ve EVER had! She took care of my 8 Y.O. male husky for over seventeen days while I was out of the country. During that time she sent me daily pictures and updates of Apollo without having to ask for them, fast response times, and VERY friendly service. It was clear to me that my boy was being given the royal treatment, and that she deeply cares for dogs. Apollo was given plenty of love, treats, playtime, cuddles, and attention. When I got him back, nothing was amiss; he was happy, healthy, and in great spirits. He adjusted seamlessly back into home life, almost like I was never gone— a testament to how happy and worry-free he was while in their care. Anna goes ABOVE AND BEYOND dogsitting. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). I keep a predictable routine while adjusting to each dog’s individual needs, energy level, and comfort. Whether it’s daily walks, enrichment, or quiet companionship, caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. I live in a quiet country home with plenty of outdoor space. While I don’t have a fenced yard, dogs are always supervised and taken outside on a leash so they can safely explore and enjoy the fresh air. Safety is always my top priority. Please let me know if your pup is off-leashed trained, so I may work with them after they are comfortable on the property. Dogs in my care will also have the companionship of my friendly corgi, Ginger, who is well-socialized and enjoys being around other dogs. The newest addition to my household is Nori, a corgi puppy. She currently has a lot of energy and is in training, doing very well. I follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, and I provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. Your dogs and my dogs are allowed on the couch and the bed. We love to snuggle up!

About: I have personally had five family rescue dogs since the 1980s. The majority taken in from puppy stage up to 4 years of age. Most stayed with us through their senior years. I am retired from work and am available with a reliable vehicle equipped with pet crates for safe transportation or can travel to your home as necessary. I can care for your pet in my home on a 1-acre lot on a private road/area. Or, I can travel to your home as necessary.

About: Growing up, I've had a couple of dogs. Our first was a mix (part husky, terrier, etc.) named O'Doolie who lived to be 16! I was young when we had her, so I don't remember her puppy years. Our other dog we had since I was in elementary school up to my early 20s was Dixie Lee. She was a Miniature Schnauzer and was the sweetest dog ever! I enjoyed bathing her, brushing her teeth, and giving her so much love and attention. My husband and I work together as landscape designers! During the winter months, our schedule is very slow. This provides us more time to engage ourselves in other fun and creative endeavors! Currently, I have an unfenced backyard. I live with my husband in a small home. In the future, we’d love to put in a fence— we have just found we haven’t needed to just yet!

“Hands down Anna is THE BEST dogsitter I’ve EVER had! She took care of my 8 Y.O. male husky for over seventeen days while I was out of the country. During that time she sent me daily pictures and updates of Apollo without having to ask for them, fast response times, and VERY friendly service. It was clear to me that my boy was being given the royal treatment, and that she deeply cares for dogs. Apollo was given plenty of love, treats, playtime, cuddles, and attention. When I got him back, nothing was amiss; he was happy, healthy, and in great spirits. He adjusted seamlessly back into home life, almost like I was never gone— a testament to how happy and worry-free he was while in their care. Anna goes ABOVE AND BEYOND dogsitting. When I picked him up I was given a gift bag with treats, printed photos of Apollo, a placemat, a resounding report card, and other doggy accessories. Even his bowls and blankets were washed. “We had a wonderful experience with Jennifer and couldn’t have felt better about leaving Moose and Maggie in her care. From our initial meet-and-greet through the entire stay, Jennifer was warm, attentive, communicative, and genuinely invested in making sure both dogs were happy and well cared for. Moose is a senior Great Pyrenees with some mobility limitations and additional care needs, and Jennifer went above and beyond for him. She was patient and compassionate, adapted walks and activities to what he was comfortably able to do, helped him when he needed assistance, stayed on top of his medications, and made sure he was comfortable and included. At the same time, she made sure Maggie received just as much individual attention and plenty of activity suited to her energy level. Jennifer sent frequent updates and so many wonderful photos throughout their stay, which we really appreciated. Her mom was also wonderful with the dogs, and it was clear that Moose and Maggie received so much attention and affection while they were there. Jennifer was also incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the stay, which made everything much easier for us. We’re extremely grateful for the care they received and would absolutely trust Jennifer with them again. I know Moose and Maggie will be very happy when they realize they’re headed back for another stay!”
