Mary exceeded every expectation I had and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. This was Dexter’s first extended stay away from me, and within the first few days he developed some stress-related GI issues from the transition. Mary handled everything with incredible patience, compassion, and attentiveness. She prepared special food, administered medication once it was dropped off, and treated him with such genuine tenderness and understanding. I could tell she truly cared about his emotional well-being. What stood out immediately was how quickly she understood both dogs’ completely different personalities. Frances is fearless, social, and playful, while Dexter is much more sensitive and cautious — and Mary connected with both of them so naturally. It was obvious they genuinely enjoyed their time with her and the other dogs. Her communication throughout the stay was exceptional. She sent frequent updates, photos, and videos every day, and seeing Frances and Dexter relaxed, playing, cuddling, and becoming more confident gave me so much reassurance while I was overseas. Most importantly, Mary helped build Dexter’s confidence during a stressful transition. Anyone who has experience with rescue dogs understands how important patience, calm energy, and emotional sensitivity are, and Mary absolutely has that gift. When I picked them up, they were excited to see me — but it was also obvious they had formed a real bond with Mary and their new friends. Honestly, that told me everything I needed to know. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Frances and Dexter were loved, safe, understood, and beautifully cared for from start to finish.”

He was over the top excited to play with the other boarder and day care dogs. Hiedi keeps her experienced professional eyes on them, so you never need to worry one bit. About: Since I was a baby, I have had many pet cats. I have had 9 cats over my life. I am also a licensed veterinary technician. I have experience with administering oral medications and injections. During the summer of 2024, I spent a month in Southern New Jersey volunteering at an animal rescue. During my time there, I helped a local rescue humanely trap feral cats from a cat colony. I fostered four from the colony. One of the cats turned into an adoption and is now my roommate in my apartment. I love all cats, especially the spicy ones. I have experience with cats of all ages, from 6 week kittens to senior cats with special needs. I also have experience will feral cats, therefore I can handle any difficult cat. About: I have always been an animal lover. I grew up with a Labrador Retriever who lived to be 16. Sadly, his health slowly deteriorated as I was in graduate school while living at home, but this allowed me to gain valuable experience with a senior pup. I have always enjoyed horses and horse-back riding, I often volunteered through college at a local stable to get my horse fix! Something about those gentle, giants just speaks to me! I have watched several friends and family members pets at their homes while out of town. I have had friends recommend me to their other friends and family as well. I often bring Willow to work with me; she acts as a therapy rabbit at my place of employment. I also frequently assist my parents with their current rambunctious Labrador Retriever, who I lovingly refer to as my "puppy brother." I assist with walking, bathing, feeding and doing drop ins when they are gone for the day. Currently I do work a full time M-F, 8-4 schedule. However, due to the nature of my job, I have summers off so my availability will be much more flexible towards the end of June. Currently, pet care would have to be in evenings and various weekends. My own pets are spoiled beyond belief and I would do the exact same for yours! My pets are my children, not just animals, and I intend on treating everyone's fur babies as such. For drop ins, I have no problem feeding, watering, changing litter boxes, crating or playing with your pet. For walks, I am comfortable with picking up feces and following leash laws/regulations.

About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. Many different kinds, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, etc. I will treat your pet with love and kindness. I have a job where I make my own schedule. If you decide to board your pet with me, I will be on premises at all times. For boarding, I have a decent size fenced in back yard. I do have a 7 year old husky that has gone to daycare. He's been around a lot of different dogs. If your dog needs to be crated, I can do that as well. I am available to come feed your animal in your home. I can let them out and walk them if needed.

About: I have been a dog groomer on and off for the last 12 years. I have gone to school for animal science, and have been around animals my whole life. Including farm animals. I have worked with tiny to extra large dogs, i have also worked with aggressive dogs. I am able to feed early morning and evenings, I can also give medication and deal with any other medical need. I wash my dogs as needed or every two weeks. I brush their teeth, fur, and clip their nails weekly as well. I only have high quality chew bones and other toys available that don’t pose a risk as my dogs are heavy chewers.
