About: I have 2.5 years of experience working as a veterinarian assistant for a family-owned and operated animal hospital. Aspects of my job include restraining, handling, medicating, feeding, grooming, bathing, and caring for any pets who may board with us at the hospital. I have comfortably handled dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, needs, and temperaments, and I am confident in my ability to care for dogs of all life stages. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am never away from home for more than four hours any day of the week, which means plenty of time for potty breaks, playtime, and feedings. I have a fully enclosed, insulated, temperature controlled, spacious gazebo on my property surrounded by a pet-proof fenced-in playpen. The inside is divided into four sections, so I can board up to four dogs no bigger than 40lbs at one time, and each pet will have his or her own space indoors for eating and sleeping. Outside, the pets will be able to interact and play, and they will always be supervised.

“Dawn literally saved our vacation. I found out two days before our vacation that our doggie day camp was closing due to an illness going around the dogs. I searched other day cares and dog sitters on Rover and everyone was booked! (It is August vacation time!) Dawn responded that she had one spot open and agreed to meet in a few hours for a meet and greet. Dawn put me at ease by asking lots of questions about our dog, Baci, and taking careful notes. We dropped her off the next morning and she stayed a whole week. Dawn sent pictures of Baci playing with the other dogs almost every day. About: I’ve taken care of a number pets throughout my life. I grew up with small terriers and had fish too. Friends animals were always like my own. I adopted my beloved cat Calvin when I was 21 and last December, 11 years later, he passed away leaving a hole in my heart. He had many health problems such as asthma and IBS, for which he was on several daily medications. This taught me to administer oral medication in pill pockets and use an inhaler attachment for him. I miss being around animals in general now that he’s been gone. I am looking so much forward to being able to provide boarding in my lakeside home. I love the company of a cat. “This was my fiancé's and I first time traveling since we got our puppy, Nilla, and we were super anxious about it. After checking out other options we decided to give rover a try and found Daniel. About: Hi, my name is Allie and I have lived in Montauk all my life. I have two adopted dogs, a beagle and a border collie mix who I have helped raise since I have taken care of since they were puppies! I have watched and walked family/friends pets in the past and love animals so much! I am currently working, but will be available in the afternoons and night. I live in northport/montauk year round, and am available both weekdays and weekends. I care for the pets in my home as they are family members. “Rachel and Henrik (and their two wonderful kids!) watched our two Goldendoodles for the weekend, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. From the start, it was clear this was a perfect fit—we did a meet-and-greet beforehand, and instantly felt comfortable. Their home is beautiful, clean, and has a great backyard where our dogs had plenty of space to run and play. More importantly, our dogs were treated like part of the family—they got tons of attention, snuggles, and care all weekend. We also really appreciated the frequent updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind. When we dropped them off, our dogs were so excited they ran right in without hesitation—that says everything. You can truly tell how much Rachel and Henrik love dogs and care for them as their own. Was willing to send less if that was our preference. Our dog looked like she was having a great time which put our minds at ease throughout the vacation that she was being well cared for. She watches only one dog at a time with her friendly dog. The house is clean and spacious. She took Out dog for walks. Would highly recommend.”
About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs. I currently own four dogs: two adult Belgian Malinois, a German Shepherd puppy, and a senior Shih Tzu mix. I have crate trained and potty trained multiple puppies and am familiar with the time, patience, and consistency required for successful training. Through caring for both high-energy working breeds and senior dogs, I have experience managing different exercise needs, routines, temperaments, and levels of care. I am committed to providing a safe, structured, and positive environment for every dog in my care. I am home most of the time and provide full-time care for the dogs in my home. Because I am available throughout the day, dogs receive regular supervision. I have a securely fenced yard where dogs can safely go outside for potty breaks and exercise. I am comfortable reinforcing crate training when needed and believe crates are a valuable tool for safety and routine. My own dogs are crate trained and are crated when they cannot be directly supervised to ensure their safety and prevent unwanted behaviors. I provide a structured, safe, and supervised environment while making sure each dog receives plenty of attention, care, and opportunities to play and relax.
