About: I have 2.5 years of experience working as a veterinarian assistant for a family-owned and operated animal hospital. Aspects of my job include restraining, handling, medicating, feeding, grooming, bathing, and caring for any pets who may board with us at the hospital. I have comfortably handled dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, needs, and temperaments, and I am confident in my ability to care for dogs of all life stages. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am never away from home for more than four hours any day of the week, which means plenty of time for potty breaks, playtime, and feedings. I have a fully enclosed, insulated, temperature controlled, spacious gazebo on my property surrounded by a pet-proof fenced-in playpen. The inside is divided into four sections, so I can board up to four dogs no bigger than 40lbs at one time, and each pet will have his or her own space indoors for eating and sleeping. Outside, the pets will be able to interact and play, and they will always be supervised.

About: I’ve taken care of a number pets throughout my life. I grew up with small terriers and had fish too. Friends animals were always like my own. I adopted my beloved cat Calvin when I was 21 and last December, 11 years later, he passed away leaving a hole in my heart. He had many health problems such as asthma and IBS, for which he was on several daily medications. This taught me to administer oral medication in pill pockets and use an inhaler attachment for him. I miss being around animals in general now that he’s been gone. I am looking so much forward to being able to provide boarding in my lakeside home. I love the company of a cat. “From the moment we dropped Nessa off until the time we picked her up, we were pleasantly surprised by how completely at home she felt with Marla. Normally, Nessa is very apprehensive when meeting new people, new animals, or even visiting a new place. But from the moment Marla opened the door, our normally shy and hesitant little girl ran right into the house to greet Marla and all of her pets. To say my husband and I were shocked would be an understatement! Watching Nessa happily run off to play filled this mom and dad with so much joy. While we were attending our niece’s wedding, we kept checking our phones, fully expecting a call or text saying Nessa was crying or looking for us. That message never came—because she was apparently having the time of her life! When we returned to pick her up, Nessa was excited to show us all of her new friends. Pet care is my full-time job, so it’s a big part of my daily and weekly routine. My schedule allows plenty of time to walk, feed, and play with your dog, making sure they get the attention and care they need. We live in a home with a large fenced in backyard. We have a dog of our own - a friendly, small mixed breed rescue.

About: I have cared for my own dog and have dog sat for many friends and family over the years. I have personally owned an Australian Shepard and Boston Terriers from puppy age to senior. I have dog sat and walked dogs of all different breeds, ages and sizes. I have experience with caring for dogs with disabilities (blind, deaf, distended back legs) and diabetes. I have been a professional dog sitter for over 3 years, but have been personally caring for and loving them my whole life! I currently work from home M-F 8-4 as a care manager for people with developmental disabilities. Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to watch your fur babies throughout the week and on weekends and they will never be left home alone for too long! About: I have grown up around dogs and am a loyal dog person! Our beloved 12 year old lab just passed away recently so our family is looking to help other people take care of their dogs! I have two children who are used to dogs and love them. I work from home in my own schedule so have lots of time to make a fuss of your pup! I am up early and love to go out for a morning walk. We have a fenced in large backyard and lots of nice places for leashed walks. We follow the schedule and needs of the dog to make sure they are comfortable. We do have a split level home so senior dogs who struggle with steps may be tricky.

I’m available for day time walks, as needed, and full boardings during the week, after 3pm, and most weekends. I am flexible with the boarding times as well so if you need me earlier, I’m sure we can work something out. I have a fully fenced in yard about 1/4 of an acre for your family member to stretch their legs and run around. I have one friendly mini schnauzer, Molly, that I am the proud owner of. I can easily crate your dog if needed or if your furry pal needs some time alone I have plenty of space within my home that they are allowed to freely roam. Sometimes this is needed from first meetings because, not unlike people, dogs may take time to get acclimated to one another. I do require a first meet before agreeing to take on new clients for the safety of myself, Molly and my home.

I got plenty of pictures and updates while he stayed with her. Danielle’s pup, Sassy, is a cutie that got along really well with Mousse. Danielle was very flexible with drop off/pick up times which is always so appreciated. She was also very quick to reply to any messages I sent.
