About: I have grown up with several dogs and cats that I have taken care of. My dad is also a dog trainer, so I often go out on walks and play with the dogs he cares for. I am very active, so your pets will never be bored! My schedule varies biweekly, so I am home every other week. The weeks I am off i have lots of free time, so I can be very flexible. The weeks I do have to work, I work nights, so I can be free during the afternoons for walks or drop-ins. I live without children, so your pets will be my priority. I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in! I do own two cats and share my mom’s small dog part time, so i prefer pets that are friendly with other animals! If your pet needs to be crated I can accommodate that, but I also allow pets on furniture and on the bed if that is what they are used to at home. I am very flexible and am willing to accommodate most things to make your pets feel comfortable.

“Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”

About: I love animals and have been caring for pets for over 10 years! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, puppies, cats, and very young kittens. I have worked with many breeds, ages, and personalities. I have also worked with different feeding and walking routines, given medications, and even changed dog diapers. I can easily adapt to any pets needs! I just graduated college and have a largely open schedule at the moment. I can pop in almost any time of day and am usually open to last minute visits if they fit into my schedule! I prefer week day visits but can make weekends work too if necessary. In your home I can adhere to any safety protocols you give me and take pet safety very seriously. About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.
“We give Victoria a 5 star rating. She has been absolutely what we needed. She stayed in contact with us, made sure our cat took his meds, which is extremely important , and sat with him and pet him every visit so he wouldn't be lonely. She was prompt and stuck to her schedule. She made sure our cat had fresh water and food, and cleaned the litter box. We were anxious about leaving him but she demolished our fears and we were able to rest assured knowing our cat Maui was being well taken care of. We are so happy with her services and would recommend her to anyone with any pet!”

“Kelly provided 5-star doggie day care for our dog as we toured Saratoga Springs and attended a horse race at the Saratoga Racetrack. Besides being a convenient location to Saratoga Springs, Kelly’s house was perfectly set up for dog sitting with a clean food and water bowl. Kelly was so caring and wanted to know of any food restrictions and special care instructions during our dog’s stay. Kelly was incredibly communicative and responsive throughout the booking process as well as during our dog’s stay. I have cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, turtles, and yes even snakes. I’ve even experienced breeding and nurturing 11 golden retrievers (3 adults and 8 puppies) at one time. I will come to your house to LOVE, feed, water, play, brush, walk, talk to, and even car rides with your beautiful pets. I’ve also been known to mop, water your plants, retrieve your mail, and take your garbage to the street. On numerous occasions, I’ve taken on jobs in Massachusetts and Vermont as mini vacations! I have a bubbly and friendly personality that animals respond well too! Reasonable rates, flexible hours, and many satisfied customers! I am retired from the county, which allows me to provide full time care to all my fury friends! I travel distances to watch your babies and occasionally welcome your pet to stay at my house. I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. Once daycare is complete or dog dependent, the door comes open and the pups join our pack (2) snuggling on the couch and begging in the kitchen 😉

About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old! I love having pets in my home and making them a part of my family. My dog loves every dog she has ever met and loves to have a playmate! If you bring your pet to my house they will be treated like one of my family members! I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30-4, but my husband works from home and I am home all day during the weekends. My husband also loves dogs and has plenty of free time during his work day to take walks and give lots of love! I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room for running. We are on a cul de sac so there is very little traffic in my part of the neighborhood. My home also has several baby gates to make sure that your pet is safe if I have to leave them in the house for a short amount of time.

About: I’ve always had 2+ dogs since I was born and have cared for them ever since, they’re my absolute world and I’d be honored to help care for your pups too Im a full time student however out of school hours I am fully committed to playing with and loving on dogs as I normally would with my own:) In my opinion parenting a dog is just as important as a child and I’d never tell someone how to do that; so however you’d like me to care for your pets I am more than willing and able to do so!
About: I have been taking care of my personal pets and assisting family with theirs since I was about 12. I have experience mostly with cats and dogs(everything from feeding and bathing to grooming and administering medication, I don’t do nails though), but I can also take care of basic needs for birds such as feeding/water and cleaning cages. I currently do gig work so I have as much time as I need or you want to take care of your pets and make sure they get some love! Your home your rules! Just let me know how you like things and what you have in mind for the visits. I cant take pets into my own home as we are already at our 2 pet limit but I am more than happy to help figure out what works for you!

About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life, had a Golden Retriever litter and have my own Golden. I love dogs and also love cats alike. I had 2 cats up until recently, but plan to get one soon. I have pretty open availability. I work from home with a loose schedule. I am always available after 2pm and free all day Fri - Sun. I have a Golden Retriever myself. Having a large dog, they need lots of attention and exercise. I am very on top of feeding and walking. I have a little bit of OCD so I love to follow a schedule.
About: I got my first dog when I was in 3rd grade and couldn't imagine life without them now. I spent the last 12 years working with animals as well as having a full house at home. Both my dogs, champ and Oliver, I raised from 8 weeks old and did all their training myself. I have been doing walks and drop ins for 2 years now and have references available upon request! I am a stay at home mom so it's very easy to fit in providing the excellent care for your fur babies to my schedule! I can do anything needed, whether it's basic a stop during the day or if you need more specific detailed care like medicine administered. We will adjust my care routine to the needs of your fur baby.
About: I’m Jess and I’m a full time programmer looking to spend time with dogs! I have had dogs all my life including small and large (150lbs!!) I currently own 2 golden retrievers who are cared for while I’m away. Since I work fully remote and am very flexible, I decided I want to provide dogs or cats care. If there are specifics to your pet, I promise to follow them to the T. Dogs truly are a mans best friend and I want to keep them in my company! I work full time and I can care for dogs in the morning and evening. I can do an occasional walk during my lunch. I also work from home and there is some flexibility around when I can do that. I love building connections with dogs. I know that it is probably super scary for them to have a stranger come into their home. I do not push dogs past their comfort zones. I let them warm up to me on their own schedule.

“Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”

I work from home, so your dog will rarely be left alone, aside from the occasional outing.
